Will Sultan Suleiman find out about the affair?
The Sultana finds out about the affair between İbrahim and Nigar and has to make a critical decision. What will the Sultana do after what she's learned? Mahidevran and Prince Mustafa want to take revenge on Hurrem. Will Sultana Hurrem be able to save her princes? The Magnificent Century is on Star on Wednesday.
The Sultana learns about the affair between Ibrahim and Nigar. She decides to share it with Sultan Suleiman right away. The Sultana can't hide her rage for Nigar.
Hurrem gets on the way to be able to save her princes lives. She gets terrified after what she sees and starts to have fight with Prince Mustafa. However, there is an unexpected guest in the Hunting Lodge.
Sultan Suleiman returns to the palace with the Sultana's call. The Sultana goes to her son but she can't have a heart to tell what happened. The Sultana ends up in a battle for her life.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Love the small detail when Hatice called Hafsa Sultan "mommy", which only children used. Throughout the show we only saw her use "mother" formally. But the moment Hafsa opened her eyes, we got to see that deep inside, Hatice was always the little girl that followed her mother to Suleyman's province.

The actor who played young Ibrahim also did a great job and had the same voice and mannerisms as the older one.
@@jodiuhron1979 they used the same voices that's why they sound the same 🤭😅 however you can picture them as the younger versions easily. They all do a great job ! 👏

It's so ironic how Suleiman as a prince asks how a father can kill his sons but as he gains power, he decides to murder down two of his own sons and 4 grandsons without a second thought
Also Selim trying to kill Süleyman through a poisonous caftan is not confirmed because Suleiman was his only son and heir, he protected him and groomed him because selim already made it clear for Suleiman to succeed him

Why would Sultan Selim I kill Suleyman? He was his only son and heir!
It's definitely one of those things in the show that, while it makes for a great dramatic moment, never would have happened, yes. If anything, the actual Selim I relied heavily upon Suleiman when it came to usurping the throne from Bayezid II, which was actually what proved to have far more of an affect on Suleiman.
