My kids got me the cookbook for Christmas and I do love it! It's beautiful! I think everyone feels like Ms Kay is family even without the cookbook! I love her! And I love the recipes!
To those who say she comes off fake.... I have a family member working on the set filming for a food network show and the cooks especially guest cooks are tired, sleep deprived, stressed as they are in a hotel. They then have to remember many things such as face the camera, marked spots on the floor, and so much more. Give Kay a break!!!
