What everyone needs to understand is "Old Timey" actually has deep roots for some of the best food ever made. Back in the old days no one had internet phones or tvs. Your entire day revolved around food and music. So it was made with great pride and love. And there was alot of competition between neighbors and they kept a tight lid on their techniques and recipes. You must understand how big of a deal this was to understand and appreciate when Miss Kay uses the term "Old Timey"

I am in the south. And Willie I am the same age as you. Enjoy every moment with your parents. I lost mine recently (being the youngest in the family). Cherish every kitchen and hunting moment with them. Cant get it back.

Hey Willie, I drove from Colorado to Mississippi for Thanksgiving and didn't find a fried pie. Drove to your old location for Willie's Duck Diner and boom it was gone. Then we went to the Duck Commander and bought a Happy, Happy, Happy coffee cup. We'll be back to buy Mrs. Kay's white cup next year. God Bless ya'll and shoot me a note on those fried pies.
Good for you Kay.....don't let Willie bully you into doing it different....lol. Cherish your family....you never know how much time you actually have with them. The Robertson Clan are good people....they keep moral values and traditions in everyday life. Glad you are spending all the time you can with your family Willie.....you are a good egg son.
