- According to Julian Fontana, this nocturne was composed in 1827. And thus, this piece is deemed to be an early work and perhaps the first nocturne composed by Chopin. However, Tadeusz Zieliński wondered if this was not in fact the last of Chopin's nocturnes, not published for some unknown reason, but tending to indicate, with its emotional maturity and compositional excellence, the last years of Chopin's life and work.
Music composed by Fryderyk Chopin, performed by Eduardo Viñuela.

Magnifique, à la Rubinstein!!
Felicidades, Eduardo ! Saludos !
Breathtaking! Such sweet sorrow. Chopin wrote the most beautiful melodies I have ever heard.
Kezz Bruzz Biographical evidence suggests that, while Chopin did appreciate some Beethoven (including the 27/2 first movement), Beethoven was not one of his favorite composers. He very much preferred Bach, and after Bach, Mozart. Some of his contemporaries criticized him both for his ignorance of Beethoven's later works and the way he played Beethoven (as though he did not appreciate it, very much unlike the way he played his own music). Also, many music theorists would disagree that Beethoven was a more masterful composer than Chopin; Beethoven had issues with the basic rules of counterpoint which Chopin (and Bach and Mozart) never had.
You are spot on with all I have read concerning Chopin's relationship with Beethoven's music. He seemed to like Bach, Mozart, and some Italian opera.
Very clean interpretation. You can hear every single note in the right intensity and in a pleasant choice of speed.
Very beautiful performance!
I love this piece!! I loved playing it, it is very emotional.
Beautiful🥰
¡Magnífica interpetación! Me deleitó su forma de tocar; su delicadeza; y cómo no habría de hacerlo si es Chopin el compositor. ¿Es un piano vertical o un teclado eléctrico su instrumento? Saludos desde México.
Well I found the next piece I'm gonna learn for my piano jury performance. I'm glad it doesn't seem to have a weird out of place cheerful section in the middle of it like Nocturne in C# minor. Gah, so beautiful.
okay nvm, this, like most chopin, is a lot harder than it sounds.
lmao this sequence of comments made me chuckle, chopin always tricks you into believing it's simple to play ahah
I think you did fantastic.
Perfect ❤
Según lo que yo he leído, muchos afirman que Chopin habría compuesto este nocturno a los 17 años!!
Esquisita intetpretacion Eduardo
amazing
Do you play on digital piano? What model is that? It sounds very natural.
...really?
Tienes buen gusto Eduardo 👍
very very nice
what piano are you playing?? a lot of people want to know, so can you put it in the description?
very beautiful.....i love the sound....may i ask what piano you are playing?
I guess not :/
Sounds Nice, but Looks weird for another pianist! Especially left hand: Why arme you using such a strange fingering, which is not Standard? It would Disable correct Legato! But Legato is elemental in this piece. Try the normal fingering and practice without pedal, it would be more smooth!
Sounds like a Kawai to me.
wrong
Is this a digital piano? the keys are plastic.
