Nice kit I love your videos I'm disabled and I watch your videos all day 7 days week I want to thank you I was ready to give up on life and you have given me a reason to live and my wife wants to thank you do you build model for people and thanks again God bless you
So that's where the radiator is. I said it before and I'll say it again, I love watching the building process it makes your videos longer but I still love every minute of it. Besides it makes a good thing last longer.
Chris you really have a very special talent for trucks. I'll never forget that green dump truck you've assembled long ago about 4 years or so. That one for me is a master piece and now you gift us with this one. Absolutely gorgeous! For more realism, I would use actual stems from a branch tree. I mean, you've said that seam line is noticeable because of the light that is very strong but anyway, I think that natural "wood" will look absolutely stunning. Thank you for such a terrific model!!!!
Imagine driving these for a living 90 years ago. No power steering, no power brakes, (not sure if they even had air brakes this model might still have mechanical cable brakes), no transmission syncros so you had to float each gear in neutral even with the clutch down, manual choke and spark advance so you were always fiddling with that while trying to drive…… those guys earned every penny they made.
Glad to see that the "Columbia Lumber Company" decals are with it. I had this about 30 years ago and will probably get this one, I have the Monogram Texaco Tanker truck version of this.
Lumbering into another hpiguys Workshop video - wood you believe this? Chris, you are a cut up. Bet you saw that one. All dad jokes aside - very nice build. Great choice. I live in the heart of the Nortwest timber trade area. A traffic jam here is three logging trucks at a four way stop. Thanks again for another fun Saturday.
Amazingly cool! I would like four or five of these, as well as the tanker version. I also have seen elsewhere a 1:25th-scale kit of a Mack tractor- trailer rig, too. Add to these the AMT 1:25th-scale kit of a Ford Model T from 1925, and the ICM 1:25th-scale kit of a Ford Model T from 1914. I also saw somewhere in all these reviews and builds a kit of an early Model T fire truck. I would enjoy incorporating the lot of them in a street- scape diorama with various storefronts alongside a cobblestone route through town
This brings back memories. The first truck I ever drove was an open cab WW2 Army 2 1/2 ton but the boss had rigged up an old Mack roof on the back of the cab. It looked a lot like the roof you have here. LOL. Thanks Chris.... love those loggers.
Great color choice! I might have put the windshield in, but I admit it looks great without the windshield in!! Reminds me of the old Texaco banks that came out in the 90's!!
Very nice job! I started building model "muscle cars" 30 some years ago. I'm just getting back into the hobby. It's amazing that a $4 kit has went up to $40+ now. But I now find myself into 4wd p/u and classic p/u trucks. I got some great ideas from your build. Thank you for sharing. Also would like to say it's nice to see Atlantis is still with us. So many have moved overseas
I was just thinking that Monogram made this, a tanker, and a stake bed truck -- wouldn't it be great to have a dump truck! I'd love to see a review build, Chris, if they re-release it. This was terrific!
Beautiful work Chris. There’s a neat story about why Mack put the radiator between the cab and the engine. It seems that teamsters were trying to put trucks out of business by backing their wagons into trucks in back of them to wreck the radiators. An added bonus to having the radiator closer to the driver was the heat they gave in cold weather.
Very nice build... Now that's old school cool (very old) We need a truck like that in the Snowrunner video game ! Logging : How it was back in the day...
I just picked mine up yesterday yes I'll be watching yours to get oh maybe if you tips and tricks when I do go to build mine. I'm going to use some burnishing fluid on that metal chain to get it dull and then rusted up to make it look like it's been a very used chain yes I couldn't wait for this when I seen it coming out so I put a pre-order in thanks for showing this
Nice job! Definitely brings back some 1970's memories for me. I never had the logging version of this truck but I did have the dump truck. I may have to go order this one and hope that the release the old dump truck as well.
The seams on the end of the logs just look like cut marks. If you had sanded those off it would have looked strange. I love how you do weathering on your kits.
Great job! Thanks for sharing! Good to see you enjoy the build. All the time you spent on the details are worth it! I wonder what kind of machine it took to load logs of that size on the bed of the truck and if they made a model kit of it -😝
Thanks for another great video! I'd love to have a complete collection of Mack Bulldog models, but I don't know how many there are or what they are. I'll keep looking.
Hey Chris I'll be in Wisconsin tomorrow are there any good hobby shops in Madison coming up to pick up a new truck we bought from my work so I thought I'd ask if that was any good hobby shop in Madison Wisconsin
I usually love watching all you model makes, but I hate the new way you are recording them. I will have to stop watching if it continues due to my seizures. I found your channel and started watching because all the other channels recorded just like you are doing now. I could not watch them due to my seizures and now unfortunately looks like I won’t be able to watch yours either. I have tried watching several of your newer models videos, but sadly I can’t watch any of them. Love your channel, but sadly looks like I have to stop watching.
The only thing that has changed in the last couple years is that I have added the assembly process to the videos. I added the assembly process over a year ago so you must not be watching all that often if you just noticed it recently. Everything else about the videos is identical. If you don't like the assembly section, simply skip over it. Thanks for stopping by!
Nice kit I love your videos I'm disabled and I watch your videos all day 7 days week I want to thank you I was ready to give up on life and you have given me a reason to live and my wife wants to thank you do you build model for people and thanks again God bless you
love watching an artist at work
She’s a Beauty! Nice build. Looks great.
So that's where the radiator is.
I said it before and I'll say it again, I love watching the building process it makes your videos longer but I still love every minute of it.
Besides it makes a good thing last longer.
Enjoyed watching this build an weathered technique.

Exactly what I was thinking, why try making plastic logs look real? Get some tree branches
A really nice build that's weathered but not over done. Love the subject matter too since vintage trucks do have a certain charm.
I build a few years ago the Monogram Mack dumptruck. No issues at all, This are magnificent kits!
Indeed!
My grandfather drove them! The one Chris mentioned that Jay Leno has, Granddad talked of those often.
And virtually no suspension. The biggest disability of early truck drivers was back issues.
Going to get this one great memories had them all at one time
Yet another awesome build up Chris stay safe and positive keep up the great work
Glad to see that the "Columbia Lumber Company" decals are with it. I had this about 30 years ago and will probably get this one, I have the Monogram Texaco Tanker truck version of this.
That's what I was thinking. I too have the tanker, I'll get this one to go with it.
Lovely models.
Looks great Chris you did a wonderful job on the weathering and Build 👍👍
Thanks Chris great review and awesome build.built the Texaco tanker many years ago.would love to add this one to my collection.peace.

I just saw one of these C Cabs rusting out in a field a couple months ago.👍

that came out amazing!! love the color

I’m actually building this now!
Hi Chris, that turned out absolutely fantastic, you captured the look of this 'old timer' perfectly, welll done mate, best regards from Australia.
Chris the ends look like a chain saw cut Vs. a seam a very nice build over all
Great color choice! I might have put the windshield in, but I admit it looks great without the windshield in!! Reminds me of the old Texaco banks that came out in the 90's!!
Decals showing the growth rings on the log ends would be nice !
Great looking build. I can just imagine it coming out of the woods, loaded down.
Man, this looks amazing!
I would probably use real logs for the load. Great build! Love your channel!

Nice to see something different . That is just fantastic! Great job. This is a must have. Thanks Atlantis!!!
Glad you like it!
You did a great job with this kit. It looks like Atlantis did a great job with this one. Keep the builds coming. Thanks for sharing.
I built the dump truck, many moons ago. It’s still around here somewhere, waiting to be rebuilt! Nice build👍
I was just thinking that Monogram made this, a tanker, and a stake bed truck -- wouldn't it be great to have a dump truck! I'd love to see a review build, Chris, if they re-release it.
This was terrific!
Nice old model truck. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful Job Chris, thanks For Sharing Your Fun and God Bless All 👍👍 Gary.
I am guessing that some of the components used in this kit were also used in the Monogram Beer Wagon street rod kit.
The Beer Wagon had to be scaled down.

very nice
Great build Chris, love these 1/24 scale Monogram Mack repops👍
I’ve seen the original monogram ones turn up up every now and then wasn’t sure about getting one , I am now great build Chris
Very nice build... Now that's old school cool (very old)
We need a truck like that in the Snowrunner video game !
Logging : How it was back in the day...
Yeah -- without a headache rack. Ouch!
I just picked mine up yesterday yes I'll be watching yours to get oh maybe if you tips and tricks when I do go to build mine. Really enjoyed this video Chris, what a great looking model, you did a fantastic job on it.
On my list 🇨🇦
You really nailed this awesome model Chris! Wonderful presentation as always! I have got to get this kit!
Love the crackle from the wireless and ol time muisc
Nice job sir! Have the same kit but I think the decals are different. My kit is the monogram version
Outstanding work a Chris! The other decals included say big oak that was my grandfather's CB handle. That's why I included it as attribute to him.
Thanks for all your support! Great to hear a bit of backstory on it. :)
now thats old school. Nice work.
Cool ol' Mack! 👍🙂
Outstanding old chain drive Mack Chris! I've been wanting to build the tanker version! Soon enough!
The Beer Wagon was based on one of these.
Nice job,!! Is the bed big enough for a car on it ?? I away like watching 👀 put the kits together
The seams on the end of the logs just look like cut marks. If you had sanded those off it would have looked strange. I love how you do weathering on your kits.
wow beautiful kit and great good job!
Thanks so much!
Great job! Thanks for sharing!

It would have been a cranev-- a BIG one.
Thanks for another great video! I'd love to have a complete collection of Mack Bulldog models, but I don't know how many there are or what they are. I'll keep looking.
What I would do when I build this is find tree branches that are the same diameter then use those
Hey Chris I'll be in Wisconsin tomorrow are there any good hobby shops in Madison coming up to pick up a new truck we bought from my work so I thought I'd ask if that was any good hobby shop in Madison Wisconsin
Think Hobby Lobby and Madison Hobby Stop are only two and both closed on Sunday.
@@williamwhipple9617 Damn. Thank you are their any oth3r hobby stores around their open?
Brilliant mate👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks good
Hey do you have Merchandise?

Top kit.
In Germany sale?
I bildt, for my truck team!
I want to build this and make a show rod out of it
You seem to be painting faster.
