Like others have noted in the comments. Didn't think we would see more Petrolicuous content again. Hope for all of us that this is just the first of the content to come.
@@michaelsummerell8618 subscribers are nothing without views. Carfection and pertrolicious both were not getting enough views in the end to make it worthwhile.
@Josh noon The original creator of Petrolicous, for some reason, decided to start making political posts right when it started to become very decisive. Oddly enough, his views alienated followers from both sides of the political spectrum. I really hope they produce more content this year as it's been way to long.
This is clearly a “sponsored” (by Maranello) content made to make up for the negative reviews and criticism the SF90 has received since its introduction, mainly for not being involving enough. It hence doesn’t mark the return of Petrolicious, sadly.
Jethro is one of the best presenters and drivers out, but Petrolicious has always been about the owner and his or her car. This is now just like so much other content. Bring back the owner with their car content - please!
The fact that Petrolicious posts a video after almost a year, and it has Jethro Bovingdon, is giving me hope that Petrolicious may revive the Afshin Behnia Era. I, personally, miss the Era when Petrolicious was all about the stories behind individual car enthusiasts and their cars. Very few channels do it the way Petrolicious did it. I was saddened by Alain de Cadenet's passing. Sam Hancock is very knowledgeable, and it showed in his videos. But I want to see more of the stories of why people/we love cars and what connects Man and Machine.
Finally something new!!! I, as many others, am a great fan of the style of the mini documentaries of this channel! Thanks for the update! Hope everyone involved in the making of such great content is well and may they be able of continuing producing more of this quality content!
Thank you so much for re-initiating new content on this channel! And what a restart with no less than an epic F40 VS SF90. Enjoyed watching that a lot! Hope we can all enjoy future regular updates please!
Welcome back!! Oh my word it's been ages since you last uploaded, and you already didn't disappoint! Keep up the great work, and we all will enjoy more videos like this!
This combo (Petro/Jethro) could become the standard by which all other YT automotive journalists are judged. Cinematography and narration are masterpieces. Well done!
So nice to see this channel post a video again, and to have Jethro onboard is a great addition. Would love to see regular content from this channel and hopefully more of this to come. Thank you!
The filming, editing, and presenting of vehicles on this channel is one to none. The quality and professionalism I’ve witnessed on this channel, I have seen on few others. Thank you!
Missed you Petrolicious! Keep the content coming please. You inspired me to chase the dream of buying my all time favourite Alfa. I hope to one day feature it on a Petrolicious video if I’m ever offered the honour. Thanks for the passion & the inspiration 🤩
New Petrolicious video, and it’s on Ferrari’s. Colour me happy, the F40 is truly one of the greats and the SF90 is just silly fun and also easy to just cruise in. We have come a long way.
I just love Jethro’s reviews and his thoughtful comments. Yes, these are cars that were made to be as fast as they could be with the technology that were available at the time. Twin turbos in the era of f40 and 959. Now it’s the hybrid and dual clutch. Evolutionary excellence in engineering.
Yes!!!!! Petrolicious!!!! I missed your videos and what a treat. My favorite car and good ole Jethro. Haven't seen him since Motortrend days. Great combo and looking forward to more videos.
Welcome back! We've missed you. Please look back a few years ago and follow that formula. I don't want to beat the dead horse but early Petrolicious was in a league of it's own. You can't half ass this now with Hagarty making stellar content.
The best of the best. Amazing. Thanks for bringing back the legendary immortal F40 vesus the new hyper SF90 Stradale. For me and most of the petrol heads out there, will always be the classic F40.
great video, love the comparison, both cars are awesome. don't need what I assume is meant to be background music. seems more forefront. must be the same mixer/editor from previous videos. I would rather just hear the engine/car noise to be honest than have random sound almost drown out the host speaking.
Fantastic film! I think both cars should be appreciated for what they are. The F40 has superb looks and is reminiscent of a classical era of man and machine working together with many moving parts. The SF90 is the evolution of technology packed into a beautiful master piece that allows the driver to narrow their focus on what’s ahead.
Endlich, ich habe so lange auf euch gewartet. Schön euch wieder zu sehen. Immerwieder fantastisches Videomaterial auf hohem Niveau 😎👍 Bitte macht weiter und hört nie auf ♥️
Jethro, great. Cars. Great. Music...seriously, knock it off!!!! Whoever did the mix for this needs speaking to. Drop the volume of the music WAY back, and when the car is on throttle we want to hear the CAR!
Now this, this has my attention. I wonder what the next episode will be comparing: an 812 Competizione with a 250 GTO (both front-engined v12 race-bred beauties) or the allure Dino Ferrari brought with his agile classic, which is now reimagined in the new 296 GTB? As the race to 900k subs (and hopefully 1m) continues, I hope the team continues to find more captivating stories out there to capture on film, because these are truly incredible to watch.
Like others have noted in the comments. Didn't think we would see more Petrolicuous content again. Hope for all of us that this is just the first of the content to come.
Kind of what I'm fearing has happened to Carfection, just as they reached a million subscribers too...

Totally agree with you. I am a big fan and follower of the original #petrolicious since day 1 - Greetings from Marbella ;-)
Me too.
Same here.

It's been an year or so. Good to see some of this.
Petrolicious is back!
Welcome back!! Don't forget, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the original format and we always wanted more of that.
We did?

F40 will never not be exhilarating to see and hear...such an extraordinary automobile...
Yep Dallara produced very beautiful car with f40. The SF has god knows how many subcontractors. To call it Ferrari is a joke.
Are you kidding me?? Petrolicious & Jehtro Bovingdon....together!!?? It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!
This is how you bring back what is possibly the greatest automotive TH-cam channel of all time. Welcome back.

Man we all have been waiting for a while, for this

Welcome back and thanks for making more content, video is top notch as usual
Great to see you back and great video, but please more of the good old days of the connection between the owner and the car.
The F40 was my dream car when I was a teenager together with the Countach. Now there are so many supercars, but back then there wasn't much around.
Welcome back! We've missed you. Please look back a few years ago and follow that formula. I don't want to beat the dead horse but early Petrolicious was in a league of it's own. You can't half ass this now with Hagarty making stellar content.

IL RITORNO! Finalmente!

So glad to see this notification when I picked up my phone.
Welcome back.
Long wait is end! 🫡
Wake up babe, Petrolicious dropped a new video
Oh look who it is
Welcome back
Great to see Jethro! The music is great, but way too loud. Is the music from Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross?
