- What do you do when your work travel schedule gets so nuts you can’t get home to build your heli? You take it with you on your cross-country adventures and build it in hotel rooms! Follow Nick Wisdom on his travels as he takes along an SAB Goblin Raw 580 kit and assembles it in hotels across America. Part 2 takes us through Dallas and Salt Lake City where the 580 gets completed and maidened in the cold! Nick is building a Theta Servo-themed 580 he’s calling the “Theta 580” in tribute to his servo sponsor, and he’ll be adding some custom touches along the way.

Very very nice. awesome video.. Looks great. Should look really nice in some nice warm sunny GA weather. That Tube for the blades/boom is very interesting.

1. Do you carry the tube in carry-on luggage or in registered?
2. What soldering station do you use, are you happy with it?
Thanks! I put the tube in my checked luggage. I use a nicer weller soldering station, but I like the Hakko ones on amazon as well.
Which bullet connectors did you use on the motor to esc?
Do you know the default us (760/1520us) of these servos? I can’t seem to find the info anywhere and I don’t have an android phone to check 😂
Default is 1520.
