Great tutorial! IMHO the best way is to use Camera Raw filter; more controls and with the use of the Smart Object you can make non destructive adjustments. BTW: love the old Fiat 500 car!

Great tutorial (as always), plenty of different choices. Now with the new profiles in Photoshop CC 2018, I like to start there. Many times that gives me a selection that I never thought about. Dehaze would be my next adjustment I'll make. Complementary colors and desaturating the surrounding are certainly new to me. Thanks!

I knew about opposite colors of color wheel looking the best in terms of fashion clothing etc but never thought of it from a photo editor's point of view.. That was really cool..

It is a smashing one off guide for learning professional photo editing minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my cooworker finally got astronomical results with it.
Great ideas! I use PSE so some of your methods wouldn't work directly, but I learned lots. I especially liked the solid color layer and blending it. Thanks for the help!

Nice compilation of saturation techniques.
You missed my (new) favorite one though. For overall saturation. Using the sliders in camera calibration (eighter in camera raw or LR) is a much better way to saturate your image. If you work with a raw. It is a little more complex because you adjust each channel separately etc. But I am having a lot less problems with bending etc. since I use that one.
