    Man I loved the way there voices weaved together. Carrie really just embodies country soul and I love every second. She can sing her face off. We all know John is a monster, but man, Carries control. She doesn’t miss!
    I’d so love to hear Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood do a Christmas duet or really any duet, that would be INSANE!!!

    this is so beautiful. Carrie has a very powerful voice but John definitely held his part down!!! Their voices blended together so smoothly, balanced and effortlessly

    Honestly I think you might really be surprised by Carrie I would love for you to check out her live version of cry pretty it’s so powerful and moving. On Jimmy kümmel but any of them are great. She is a great country soulful vocalist. Her technique is so good and her and John are a great pairing that I never expected

    All I know about singing is that I like the way it sounds. It seemed to me that John Legend did a great job of supporting her and giving her space to have her big moments. It's like his singing and playing were the icing on the cake. The cherry on top. Who eats cake with no icing? And is a sundae really a sundae if there's no cherry on top?

    That was so awesome to see this broken down and actually pointing out things I didn’t see and hear. I love when creators know what they are talking about. Please do more Carrie, she is a wonderful artist. New sub here.

    I've been binge watching your videos and I was just searching your channel last night for an analysis of Carrie Underwood, so this was perfect timing, lol. I think you nailed it, as always. I'm not in love with this particular song, but I love Carrie's voice and think her strengths are often overlooked.

    Carrie fell and landed on her mouth and nose, she ended up having to have over 50 stitches just in her mouth! Then had to go through reconstructive surgery. She's very lucky to still be singing! Which she is awesome!!!

    I can't recall if she flared her nostrils before her accident or not. She had some reconstructive surgery on her face due to the fall. I thought her voice sounded different for a while after, though. It's possible she has less space in her sinuses because of that.

    • @misslari24
      @misslari24 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm pretty sure she always has, but maybe even more so now.

    • @jaymeyork7

      The fall was nothing to do with her nose, it was her mouth. She said she had to have speech therapy for a while

    • @KimmaParish
      @KimmaParish 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jaymeyork7 I recall seeing the scar somewhere online, and it's from her lip up to her nose, and needed like 30+ stitches and required some reconstructive surgery. I can't see landing on your face like that and not at least breaking your nose. The scar also looks like it went up inside the nostril. I'm not disagreeing, but I can imagine a scenario where she lost/altered airflow and her body is naturally compensating. That could definitely be from the mouth.
