Her voice had gotten darker and deeper through the year so going up isnt as easy hence she chooses her moments more than before gotta preserve those vocals
In live performances, we get her the true deepness of her sound. She often says that her true live is much deeper than her records & became even deeper after having babies
The dress is fabulous, the voice is fabulous. Toni is simply Devine. Because of her rich tone ppl think she’s a contralto, but I’d say she’s a mezzo? Great performance.

Thank you! Just make sure you don’t push too much! Sometimes people try to force the growl to happen. Push less air, that may help.

Fun story, Diane Warren wrote unbreak my heart which was offered to Celine Dion first and Because you Loved me to Toni Braxton. Neither felt the songs fit their albums and coincidentally ended up singing and recording each others songs.
