"Emory" is new age without much historical basis, because of this ridiculous push for unisex everything. But with some basic research you'll find out its ultimately an old white dude name. Typically a last name. Origins being from England more recently but from Europe in it's first iteration being "amal" I believe. "Emery" specifically was most common among British generals as a sir name at one time in its height popularity. "Colonizers" lol but it was different and "new" so I guess the devs thought they could appropriate it without anyone noticing. 😂🤦

So far almost every product that they KNEW was going to flop leaned hard into diversity and inclusion so they'd have an excuse for why people don't like it when it inevitably failed.
Until mainstream media, Hollywood and the gaming industry learn to stop using diverse characters as human shields againt criticism, I'm not giving them any more money.
