Exactly, I have a JBL Boombox and i love it for its portability going to the beach etc. But there are times when i need a little more power hence why I’m buying a SOUNDBOKS 3. You cant compare something that runs from a wall outlet to something else that runs off a battery and expect the same results. They can get the PB100 but where i live in the Caribbean there are regular power outages and my music is what keeps me sane. There is some serious engineering that goes into a SOUNDBOKS speaker that most people don’t appreciate. Keep up the good work SOUNDBOKS
the battery life depends so much on the mode you play on. the more bass the faster the battery drains. i have the soundboks 2 and i am so happy with it. great video and great first impression :)
If you want even better bass response with Soundboks, you can add a wireless subwoofer! Dillinger Labs makes a SKAA wireless sub called Death From Below. You can feed Soundboks audio over bluetooth, set the mode to HOST, and then fire up a DFB and it will automatically bond to SB. DFB even has a custom EQ mode meant for use with SB. DFB is completely battery powered like Soudnboks as well, and will get you similar battery life. Thanks!
You do not have to change anything on the design of the Soundboks it is well made, you just need to make it bigger with a bigger battery and with 2,15 inch bass speaker in one box that would give it a new look I read some of the comment of what people are saying about the Soundboks and you do have people that say when they play it with another system that the other system have more heavier deeper bass with the two 15 speakers you would not compromise the sound and the quality of the sound and you would give people a new choices, and the weight of the soundboks would not matter a heavier sounding soundboks 4 would win over a lot of new people of if that was available I would get one straight away even though I have the soundboks 3 already and do not rest on your laurels, and If I have the equipment I would build one tomorrow

Know its an old video. But people expecting bass like 2x10" in a car running at 2000watts continous is going to be dissapointed. This thing runs on a small battery, using less than 300 watts. And its made to go to festivals, so to play outdoors by your tent or party place. So you get the best sound outside or in a very room, thats what its design for.
Omg….900.00? My son found one free on the side of the road with other trash. It has a slide out battery and it powers on and plays music, but no charge cords? Or any thing else? We are looking for a charge cord for it.
Wrong, Nathan... .. Stefan... You CAN STILL play music, even when powered with the included plug, but only at HALF volume. It will turn off if you play at HIGH volume. I dont know why it does that. I have sent an email to soundboks and asked them WHY it does turn off when connected to the grid.
@@JSolisHD Its pretty Simple why it cant play just of the charger loud. Music has a lot of Peaks in Wattage/Amps while Bass hits, the charger can give you about 60W continious but the SB can use 216W continious (at 100% efficiency so its more like 250W with a Class D Amp) and even more in the Peaks. Thats why you need the battery as a reserve for the Peaks. The charger alone just underpowers the speaker, thats why it shuts off, to protect itself from distorting when it hits the limit of the powersource (the charger).
Soundboks You need to be very innovative that you can stay ahead, you need to make the Soundboks with the same design and component, the only change you just need to make to it is to make it taller wider and more powerful then before, you already have all the component in hand already, You just need the two 15 inch bass speaker and the midrange speaker, and a bigger battery, and give it more power also, and do not worry about the weight on how heavy it is, and how tall and wide it is, You just make it there is a big market out there for it, people like looking for something different and new, so make it with the same three speaker but bigger bass speaker 2,15 inch bass speaker and the midrange speaker, all you do is to make two prototype to test the people on how they feel that way you would have a better idea and if the market is ready Soundboks you do not have nothing at all to lose you have all the parts already you just need the courage to test the on known, I would be very disappointed if you are not brave enough to go ahead with a new bigger and more powerful Soundboks 4 we are all waiting.
Yes and no, my personal reasons for buying this speaker are because of its weight and dimensions. I’m somebody that needs to travel with my speaker. There’s is currently nothing else on the market right now that i can literally through in a suitcase and take anywhere in the world. This thing is light for its size and still portable. Maybe we need a new SOUNDBOKS but i think if we do that then it should defiantly be called something else because it would basically be a different product and aimed at different customers. There is a trend right now throughout Europe where SOUNDBOKS are made, college and university students buy these and they take them everywhere, including on the trains, then they meet up and connect to each other’s speakers. They couldn’t do this if you put 15s into a SOUNDBOKS, so you see, SOUNDBOKS is basically the best thing that you can get in its form factor, size and weight. I’d say these university students that designed this got it right, maybe it might be better to sell a SOUNDBOKS Subwoofer for those that need something like that.
Even with that , same story, very loud, crystal clear but no deep bass! the fella needs a deep bass so you need some proper subwoofer plugged in. Or else battery speakers cannot do much better than soundboks bumpboxx too Even the bigger one. The Partybox 310 is really pathetic in comparison to the Partybox 300, being bigger, heavier, less loud, less portable than the Soundboks. If you need it to play off the wall for a longer time, the battery isn't nearly as stron as the Battery of the Soundboks. Again, only one of the woofers produces the low Bass you want. The Bass actually hits pretty hard on the Soundboks, 100Hz is the loudest frequency it can produce. Everything under 200Hz is Bass. ;)
At max volume does the high end stay clean or start to get harsh? Same question on the bass at high volume does it get muddy? I have a 10 inch KRK sub which shakes the house! Does the bass on this compare to a separate subwoofer?
At max volume, the Highs do get harsh, but they don't get distorted... If that makes sense. It's still a crisp sound, but the mids and lows are much less defined at max volume, therefore the Highs are so intense. And the bass doesn't really compare to a dedicated sub woofer. In some situations (like in a small room or space) the bass is as punchy as a sub.

i have two of those speakers and kid you not the best product i have ever purchased. i sometimes use it in my car because my car radio doesnt work and i have them both blasting at full volume till battery runs out and they are amazing.
Cant Bluetooth pair speakers from different brands, unless you have a Samsung Phone, but you can use the AUX out on a SB3 and connect it to any other speaker.
I would say Hearing both my party box 310 and my buddys soundboks I would say the 310 is actually a lot more punchy on the bass the compression driver of the soundbox gets loud at a distance but the jbl party box 310 keeps up with this and actually blow it away quite a bit

This is to Digital DJ Tips we have enough small gadget like JBL there is no need for any more, we do not have any existing two 15 inch bluetooth speaker box no where in the world, we are looking for innovation something that is not inexistent, that why I say that we need something different and that would be the two 15 inch bluetooth speaker box if the Soundboks is design for out door party then it need to be a lot bigger if Soundboks is looking for a large international market, well all the Soundboks is the same size, are is it impossible for Soundboks to undertake building a new Soundboks 4 that would complement you having two speaker box when one speaker box can do the job of two and the size does matter and Soundboks should ask there customer if a bigger Soundboks 4 with two 15 inch speaker would they buy it, and hear their respond the built quality of the Soundboks is excellent it just need to be bigger that way you would get a deeper bass and a true sound.
I think he's saying you could have said everything you did in about half the time. Unless you're doing sound tests or something a bit more concrete, you could really focus your presentation more and cut out the extra fat. I know it's not a pro review though, and I'm happy there are different types of reviews out there. It seems like the speaker was really disappointing on release but was fixed substantially with the app update and Bass+. I got the SB2 anyway because is was $300 cheaper and I'm super happy with it.
Context matters. If you only have $500 to spend, then the pb310 is better since that's the only one you can purchase. For $1000 I would still take a SB3 over 2 pb310s due to MY needs (this isn't for indoor play since I already have a home system for that). But when I'm outdoors and camping, the replaceable batteries on the SB3s are essential. For indoor plays, I would prefer the JBLs.

The JBL 1000 wins 10 out of 10 times vs Soundbox 3 imo. Better bass and more clear and crisp spund.

You need an 18 or 21 inch sub if you want booming bass. Just can't get it from 10s unless it is a dedicated sub like car audio in small spaces

I went with the Pb 310 because of the sound and 5 hundred dollars less but I do like the volume of the soundbox

also one of my soundboxes has a different feel to the volume knob. one has a clicking sound and feel and the other doesnt at all just smooth.
I would say Hearing both my party box 310 and my buddys soundboks I would say the 310 is actually a lot more punchy on the bass the compression driver of the soundbox gets loud at a distance but the jbl party box 310 keeps up with this and actually blow it away quite a bit

@@WintersReviews No, PB is around 80 dB vs. the around 120 of the Soundboks 3. PB 310 will also never sound as clear or good at a further distance, so it's totally different user scenarios depending on area you want to cover. Distance and clarity is where Soundboks seems to shine.

I can see that You Soundboks is very comfortable to do what you have always been doing you continue to make all the soundboks the same size, that is what you are very safe and comfortable with, you do not think out side the box, you lose your innovation, because you are afraid of the Unknown what damage do you think would happen if you make two prototype of a big and a larger Soundboks of two 15 inch bass speaker in one box to test the people's reactions
are just show me how to get all the component and I will build it my self, I do not what to hear any one tell me about anything about copyright we all learn from each other to advance in life and that is not a crime, and soundboks is not the first to build Bluetooth speaker
This has been out there long ago, but soundboks build the world best Bluetooth speaker box you have to understand to get a true sound of what you think the people want to hear you cannot force something small to make a large noise you would have to compromise the quality of the sound so you have to go bigger to get a true louder and deeper sound and that is just logic

Worked for 30 days then died on me. 2 Batteries down and 3rd one on the way
This is to Digital DJ Tips we have enough small gadget like JBL there is no need for any more, we do not have any existing two 15 inch bluetooth speaker box no where in the world, we are looking for innovation something that is not inexistent, that why I say that we need something different and that would be the two 15 inch bluetooth speaker box if the Soundboks is design for out door party then it need to be a lot bigger if Soundboks is looking for a large international market, well all the Soundboks is the same size, are is it impossible for Soundboks to undertake building a new Soundboks 4 that would complement you having two speaker box when one speaker box can do the job of two and the size does matter and Soundboks should ask there customer if a bigger Soundboks 4 with two 15 inch speaker would they buy it, and hear their respond the built quality of the Soundboks is excellent it just need to be bigger that way you would get a deeper bass and a true sound.

I think he's saying you could have said everything you did in about half the time. Unless you're doing sound tests or something a bit more concrete, you could really focus your presentation more and cut out the extra fat. I know it's not a pro review though, and I'm happy there are different types of reviews out there.
It seems like the speaker was really disappointing on release but was fixed substantially with the app update and Bass+. I got the SB2 anyway because is was $300 cheaper and I'm super happy with it.

Party box 310 is better
Context matters. If you only have $500 to spend, then the pb310 is better since that's the only one you can purchase. For $1000 I would still take a SB3 over 2 pb310s due to MY needs (this isn't for indoor play since I already have a home system for that). But when I'm outdoors and camping, the replaceable batteries on the SB3s are essential. For indoor plays, I would prefer the JBLs.
