You say, that you hate that there's no pause/play and skip button. I can tell you, that by having this, since it's a party speaker, people would keep skeeping songs. I have a Soundboks myself, and love that it doesn't have that feature, especially at festivals, otherwise you couldn't hear a sound to it's end

@@MrSlidthunder It doesent have as much bass as two 10 inch subwoofers. But I would say it has as much bass as one 8 inch AC subwoofer. There is hardly any other portable speaker in the same size and price that sounds as good as the soundboks

This is complete garbage, i bought one and it was over $1000!!! I bought it to do street ministry and when we tried to preach it was so low that it didn't make sense! We ended up preaching without the mic, Another thing that is very inconvenient is that you have to download an app to make the speaker work. Waste of time and money, I'm not trying to bash anyone I'm only giving this review so no one else would have to go what i went through..

If you’re wanting a monster sound that really does have solid bass get the party box 1000. It doesn’t have a battery but it straight rocks. Sounds like a full concert even outdoors.
@@AmbassadorOfChristJesus sounds like you used a mic without enough gain or power to properly provide the necessary power to achieve the volume levels you want. Probably a mic from another karaoke setup that was designed for that particular microphone. Most likely
WHO cares about the play and pause, if you where at a party, some people would take the piss, and pause the Music to troll you. And the Audi source is always nearby so you don’t need it.

The tweeter doesn't look like its out of an 1980s stereo system I like this new design.
The older ones still look better, this new one looks like an asshole.
I think it’s deeper too even if the frequencies rage is the same because there are bigger Bassline and more room for the bass.. so I think its more powerfull

@Marijan Ciceran hm yes i really think msot of the loudness is reached by the horn but i also believe bass is louder and improved..but ireally hope it is worth to mention it and really hearable in reviews/compareisons to the old soudnboks 2. but in the end we have to think about the price...it only costs 50 € more than the soudnboks 2...therefore, we cannot expect a 200% change :D they already incldued an app, 5 unit pairing, horn and bass reflex system etc... but let ss ee how muc hthe sound is improved yea
There is now the possibility to connect the Soundboks more than five times, even infinitely often. You only need to connect one host box to the another host. Cause you can join 4 speaker each host. Then you have to connect Host A with Host B via an aux cable and thats it ;)
I think If u have more than 5 Soundboks u will just use wired connection because ur a Dj or something just like this

Question: I’m setting up a mobile sound system for pop up dj parties in Austin. I will have someone in the decks and also vocalist singing.
The setup for the first few popup parties I’m considering buying either 2 x JBL 310’s or 2x soundboks. This system will be mounted to a rad wagon 4 electic cargo bike. With your reviews I’m now leaning for the two soundboks (3’s).
After a few popup parties, I’m going to invest more into the system and I want to add some low end with some subs and will obviously also need a generator.
I’m considering buying 2x EV 12” dedicated subs.
My question to you, is will running the AUX out cable from the soundboks 3 work going to a dedicated sub?

@@anthonycruz8011 there are comparison videos between partybox and soundboks 2 i guess and between partybox and others. If you need more than 110dB loudness, you have to pick the soundboks or teufel rockster, since the partybox is not as loud. So, more "bang" you get with he soundboks or teufel but better sound quality with the partybox maybe (if you like the deep full bass signature). If you want to spend less than 500 euros/dollar, get the partybox. Else, get the teufel rockster air, soundboks 3 or the teufel rockster for more loudness but also more euros/dollars ;)overall for 300€ the partybox 100 is the best deal since yout get the most bang/value for the money. If your money is not limited then its no issue getting a teufel

Jan N no the bass is the same, they just made the bass quality much better.
I think you can expect the SB3 bass to be a bit deeper as well. They removed the "Indoor/Outdoor" mode because almost everyone had it on outdoor for the extra bass. There's also improved reflex ports.
@@srenmadsen1947 Thanks, I am a bit dissapointed with the bass of sb2 with two 10inch woofers the bass should be mutch better, but I think the tuning is aimed for high volume, not for deep bass.

well i am a bit dissapointed, mids are pushed forward quit a bit, bass does not seem to be any better than the old altought they claimed it to be, and 126db yae just a lie the SB2 did 117 outddors and bearly 120 indoors while claiming 122db and by looking into the specs of the drivers in the SB3 the only difference is that the tweeter now has 104db instad of 96db which in combination with the horn explains why mids are quit pushed forward and that may also push the volume to 120db outdoors which would be the important rating but thats 6db of still so id rather get a teufel rockster
Yes soudnwise its not much of an upgrade but we have to see a comparison against the soundboks 2 and the teufel rockster, to acutally tell the differences. But i like the wireless pairing to 4 more units. This is maybe the only real upgrade which is nice to have compared to the old soundboks 2. Pushed mids forward is partially good, because the old soundboks 2 had like NO mids at all.. Now you can actually hear vocals. It is more comparable to a teufel now i guess because the teufel has more mids too and a horn. But i think the teufel still will keep more bass and has the better sound overall. Loudnesswise, the soundboks 3 should be louder but i think they will both reach the same loudness. Maybe 1-2dB differences between rockster and soundboks 3. But we have to wait for a comparison to be able to tell the differences
Maurice ja das kabellose verbinden ist super und mehr mitten auch aber wenn’s Zuviel sind auch wieder nicht gegen den teufel wird did klanglich immernoch abstinken denke ich auch in der Lautstärke wäre sie theoretisch auch unterm teufel weil die Tieftöner schaffen 120db und see Hochtöner 122db in der Theorie realistisch eher noch weniger

Gerade wenn mehrere freunde die soundboks 3 haben und man dann zusammen alle connecten kann. Typischer jbl connect plus vorteil. Das und der akku und das gewicht sind argumente gegen den teufel. Also werden immer mehr argumente den teufel nicht zu kaufen. Aber klanglich ist die soundboks bisher noch nicht ran gekommen, deshalb bin ich da mal gespannt, wie viel sich da im direkten vergleich tatsächlich getan hat.

The teufel rockster is a great speaker it destroys all the other ones my unkle has one and we are always the loudest and there where people with the soundboks it's sound is very nice its super clear and you can play around with the sound (deeps mids and highs) until like 115db it plays very clear bit going up it starts to distort at like 120db it distorts alot but I wouldn't say that that is a big problem because it still sounds better than the soundboks but now comes the real problem my unkle und His friend both have the tuefel rockster by the way it's the new version and both of them broke, the subwoofer burned they got them replaced immediately but it's still something worth Mentioning

its very decent. clean and doesn't interfere with the rest of the music. been using it in the studio while I film at lower volumes obviously

Question: can you run sound through a cabled connection (XLR from your DJ turntables), and then send the signal wirelessly to another speaker when it's paired to another soundboks? Or does the party pairing only work with Bluetooth from a phone or something. Does this have a headphone input? If so, can you use and listen to the headphones while letting the SB3 play through it's speaker? I would like to use this setup while playing my drumset, listening via in ear headphones and letting the audience still enjoy the speakers. This will save my ears also and keep the tempo.
Kinda yeah! 3:02 , you can plug in your headphones instead of another speaker (just no separate volume adjustment for it so would need an attachment)

You do not have to change anything on the design of the Soundboks it is well made, you just need to make it bigger with a bigger battery and with 2,15 inch bass speaker in one box that would give it a new look I read some of the comment of what people are saying about the Soundboks and you do have people that say when they play it with another system that the other system have more heavier deeper bass with the two 15 speakers you would not compromise the sound and the quality of the sound and you would give people a new choices, and the weight of the soundboks would not matter a heavier sounding soundboks 4 would win over a lot of new people of if that was available I would get one straight away even though I have the soundboks 3 already and do not rest on your laurels, and If I have the equipment I would build one tomorrow

I run 2x Bose S1 Pro in the Namibian desert. That would be worth the comparison. For those who don't know, 3 inputs & BT, clever equaliser, stereo via app, quarter size, half price, half weight, 6h battery life and I would bet - much more sound. And I don't sell the stuff, I just buy and listen.

the only other comparable speaker to the sb series (orignal 2 and now 3) was the diamondboxx xl2 and now that the new generation has fixed its connectivity issues with other soundboks it clearly has diamondboxx beat
This is wonderful content. Can you please give me an idea of how far away you can place 2 of these speakers apart with a barrier in between? I want to be able to have large gatherings with a speaker on each side but with people blocking the line of sight. I assume it would not be 100 ft in this case?

Yeah, you totally didn't disclose the fact that the soundbox 2 is distored, when played on high volum. The Sb2 also lacks good sounding mids&lows. Honesty this comment shows why you pick the sb2. Uneducated in the topic of Bluetooth speakers, it's okay, everyone can't be as superior as thyself.

Alan Solis you shouldve used the SPL mode. It goes as loud as the Soundboks 2 when i has the chance to compare them.
1st Mode: Normal
2nd Mode: DSP off
3rd Mode: Bassboost at 60-80hz
4th Mode: Extreme Loudness Mode
Switch through them with Bluetooth and Minus for 10 seconds. You notice the change when first the tweeters, then the woofers play for 2 seconds.
Partybox sounds better and soundboks gets louder
The only reason to get this is if you want portable festival speakers.

@@mattman353 Well thats how much watts yes. But because it has more watts doesent mean it sounds louder and has more bass. It is about quality since there is a speaker that is called "ION Road Warrior" and it has about 500 watts but sounds really crappy because it is cheap. The diamond box L is around the same price as the new soundboks but one thing that is for sure is that the soundboks can play quite alot louder than the diamond box.
Also the soundboks is way cooler than diamond box because it has much better featured such as removable battery, water ressistant, downloadable app, sillicon ball corners, can connect wirelessly with other new soundboks speakers and it has more accessories such as speaker stand, microphone and the soundboks backpack that ive got to my soundboks

My neighbor has one. It’s loud for sure. But the sound quality is garbage. I compare it to the PA speakers used at the starting line of random 5k races: annoyingly loud without anything that makes loud music fun.
I went with JBL PARTYBOX 310 for the garage and dual PARTYBOX 710 for the living room. Half a block away you’d think there’s a nightclub in the neighborhood.
