After the masterpiece that is Impeckable, Budgie came roaring back with a new, heavy, rough sound that was also incredible! This band never fails to impress me.
i guess im randomly asking but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the password. I love any tricks you can give me!
@Marcus Felix Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Power Supply was the last Budgie I bought, I've never heard this before today. I last saw Budgie live , 1977? at Hammersmith Odeon, their support act that night was Def Leppard. Quite a gig.
Saw them at Warsaw back in 1982. Some people sniffed at Big John Thomas having replaced the great Tony Bourge on guitar but stage presence-wise they were a lot better in their new heavy rock image clad in black leathers than their previous cheesy looks including moustache boots and hats for Tony resembling a Texican truck driver. The sound was compact, sharp and well-defined as well, crisp and precise, less bluesy, more metal. I absolutely enjoy such tracks as Panzer Division Destroyed. Too bad they followed very good Power Supply album with mediocre Nightflight and soon sank deep with their atrocious effort entitled Deliver Us From Evil.
OK, just after writing the above I listened to Nightflight. It isn't mediocre I admit. It is just not among the best, a tiny step down from Power Supply, tight sound but less inspired songwriting. However, Deliver Us is horrible to my ears.
First Budgie record I bought way back in 1980 when the NWOBHM revived their fortunes and just heard Breadfan on a various artists comp album called 'Precious Metal'.Been big into them ever since. Legendary band who should be up there with the giants but so often overlooked and under rated. Panzer Division Destroyed is one stormer of a track on this e.p. and long a staple part of their live set list.
Hey Guy, you've got a great little channel here on TH-cam. I checked out your other uploads - Nugent, Thin Lizzy, BOC, Rainbow, etc - all good stuff. And the bands you have on here that I haven't heard of, you make me want to check out, knowing that you have excellent taste.
Hear me call, panzer division destroyed Power gun pounding and well deployed Everyman seems to burn, die in hell Twisted steel, twisted mess sealed the deal Hear me call, panzer division destroyed Absolute; no sign of life at all Crushing men, living men have all gone Hear me call, panzer division destroyed Cold and burned the smoke and blood inside Pure light splits the night with a flame Blinding rage get in touch with our plane Hear me call, panzer division destroyed Pretty sight, pounding fire, finding home Well I?m in sight cutting through hostile zone Only sound on the ground is a moan

@Marcus Felix It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thank you so much you saved my ass !
@Parker Kaleb Happy to help =)
Simply incessent, relentless, mind numbing, thumping, glorious rock and roll.
I’ve got this at my parents house, it was signed by all three of the guys,I need to find it again
But you absolutely must retrieve it, especially now that of the three, only the drummer Steve Williams survives.

Love this band, man! 2003 a friend who used to work for Bill Graham turned me on to Budgie.
First time I listened to song after song from budgie. So ahead of their time!
Budgie. Easily up there with the best. Such a badass band.
Bien brutal. ..rock and Roll ..Atte : Kevin Idol Sifuentes Andrade .Trujillo_ Perú ..
Still have this. Play very, very loud
Really good, love it
the tightest band in the world! I really dig it!
Scooted from home at 16, crossed the pond ended up in Birmingham 80 or 81, seen these backed by I think Dark Star.
Love this..john Thomas come in and give the band power !!
I liked power supply and this ok but without Tony Bourge they just weren't as good .

Dante, you can't go wrong following Thebestdream I had. A
Hustler Play Loud brought me here. I like!
Boy Burkes voice lowered perhaps by choice, and man it sounds like Paul Rodgers but stronger...love it!
Another COOL Bast .. KEEP IT UP...,
2 minutes to midnight sound like wide fire 🔥
Very true. And if you think about it, it is also similar to the main riff in Master of Puppets
Neither were first.
Watch a video called “the most recycled riff in metal”.
Super Beauty!!! Legends!!!!
RIP Burke, 🙏
☮️🙏
The same tragedy as with Emerson, Lake & Palmer: now only the drummer survives...
KSHE plays their albums
from time to time.
Toney Tillery Isaiah.
And KMAC AM in San Antone.

"Wild fire" = "2 minutes to midnight" 😵 este ep fué en el 80, osea antes que saliera "powerslave"
Ahh yes, however, Wild Fire was recorded in 1980. Aces High was from 1984. Wild Fire es primero amigo....
This ep cooks!!!
still got the original
marctilly13 me too

Budgie forever jung
@@celtic6714 yes,yes oh yeeees
,reminds me of rush very underrated band
Wildfire has a bit of 2 Minutes To Midnight Maiden feel in the riff...
Hear me call, panzer division destroyed
Power gun pounding and well deployed
Everyman seems to burn, die in hell
Twisted steel, twisted mess sealed the deal
Hear me call, panzer division destroyed
Absolute; no sign of life at all
Crushing men, living men have all gone
Hear me call, panzer division destroyed
Cold and burned the smoke and blood inside
Pure light splits the night with a flame
Blinding rage get in touch with our plane
Hear me call, panzer division destroyed
Pretty sight, pounding fire, finding home
Well I?m in sight cutting through hostile zone
Only sound on the ground is a moan
Glorious riffage.
Cool EP
Hail to AustriA
People forgot Budgie
is a three piece band
from England.
Toney Tillery Isaiah.
Toney Isaiah From Wales, not England.
Yep Cardiff, Wales
At least Burke, Tony, and first drummer were Welsh. Stevie Williams and Big John maybe Brits
@@markrago7217 Nope. I'm Welsh through and through. J.T. was from Birmingham.
@@TheBudgiedrummer I sussed Big John was British. Still, definitely the most important musical act to hail from Wales (Sorry Tom Jones)

Sin creatividad, malo.
¿Púedes hacer algo mejor, genio?
¿Puedes hacer algo mejor, genio?
