Hooked on Aerobics: Episode 1

This is likely not the first episode of Hooked on Aerobics. My mom recorded several episodes of this show from about 1989-2002. I haven't been able to find any information about the episode lists, but my understanding is that BYU recorded two seasons of the show and then kept it in early morning rotation for years until a programming change. Only one legitimate release exists on VHS that I've found, and otherwise BYU seems to have washed their hands of the show. I'm uploading these for anyone else that remembers the show, and with the hope that a legitimate release will happen someday.

William, bless you for doing this. I have been looking for them for years and years. After extensive research I did find a video that had 3 episodes and bought it and had it transferred to DVD, but recently a family member misplaced it. Just for fun I checked TH-cam this morning and found your channel.
This series "saved my life" when I was a young mother tied to a home with lots of kids. Before then I was very active in sports and dance and really missed it. I am now a much older woman going on an LDS mission soon and this will be such a blessing to me. I hope someday to have a DVD available of all of them also. But until then, thanks again for sharing.

I totally remember watching these episodes as a kid in the 1980's. Good memories.

My mother watched the VHS forms of these she had every morning and exercised to them until she got sick from her vaccine booster which took her down. Before that she was "the youngest 89 year old" her doctor knew, in his words. She was always energetic and healthy and this was one of the anchors in her life for that--BYU Hooked on Aerobics

I know--I had aerobics classes at BYU and she subbed once or twice, and she was stunning (still is--seen her on facebook).
