For those of you that have been commenting, "why is she wearing tall socks?", "are those socks?", etc etc: those are leg warmers. I've taken dance for over 9 years and we wear them to keep our calf muscles warm so we don't pull anything, since calves are basically the most used muscles in dance (esp. ballet/pointe). Plus, they're pretty cute and a nice 80's throwback haha.

She's teaching dance technique. Once you have the technique down you can burn a ton of calories tearing up the dance floor and hopefully not look like a spaz doing it. Julianne's a great instructor!! So glad to have someone who knows how to TEACH and looks like PERFECTION executing the moves!!
I love this! I may be a dancer, pro, teacher, judge and coach, but the one thing I didn't master was ballroom! What your workout video does is not just exercise, but it is the female, or 1/2 of the couple! Love it!!!!

I love working out, staying fit, etc.. Most people needs motivation for working out, so get just that! Have a friend workout with you or get a pic of the body you want & some music to make it seem shorter than it is! RUN. Running does so much more for you than any other activity. It helps your endurance, builds muscle mass, and is the quickest fitness way to lose weight. If you're not much of a runner, start out running 5 minutes on, walk 2-3 minutes off. repeat as necessary. At home, tuck ups, pike ups, crunches, sit ups, push ups, pull ups, even learning dances like this one will help tremendously if done day by day. In the gym, Squat and deadlift at least half your weight to start off.. then get up to 3/4 your weight. Squats make your butt look REALLY good. Bench press A lot to build arm muscles.. Do cheer jumps. Look them up. Even if they aren't so high or even if you've never attempted in your entire life.. Toe touches, tuck jumps, pikes help with flexibility and leg muscle a bunch! And diets will help more than you know! Avoid white bread, caffeine/fattening drinks, sugar, debbies, cake, candy, ice cream, smoothies, etc. Drink LOTS of water instead of energy drinks/Gatorade/powerade. While you workout and even with your lunches and suppers. Don't skip any meals, either. For breakfast, Special K is what I eat. Only thing I will eat.:) Eat a small lunch, big supper. Eat healthier options, salads without dressings.. most you will know if it is or not. I lost 14 lbs in two weeks when I did these. I was in the gym two days out of the week and did the home workout even with the jumps, running, dancing, etc 5 days a week. I weighed 131 and got down to 117. I was 16 years old at the time. I am now 18 and I weigh 130 lbs. After so long, your muscles will make your weigh more. So after you're satisfied in two weeks of the loss, avoid the scale! Focus on inches:)

Since I have no fear of looking ridiculous, I tried it; that kick, kick, ball change step. It'lll take a while to get the coordination and balance, but once you can do it without falling it is one heck of a work out.
