The best five minutes car viewing of my life (and I aint seventeen)
Have wanted one since watching The Gumball Rally.
Loved the soundtrack then, the curves then and how it made me feel.
Unfortunately, a nasty spill, at a short circuit put a stop to buying one ( You cant have a 427 with auto and hand controls eh ??? )

Your video was one that kept me coming back for that Backdraft/Cobra fix for a couple years. I'm coming up on one year of ownership with mine and couldn't be happier. Hoping to do a similar video with mine here in the future. Have to keep those dreamers drooling until the day comes they can get one of their own!

@Vel87x - BDR quotes "Starting at $46,900." If only drivetrain is left and not a laundry list of upgrades, is it possible to complete at or under $60k with, say, a 351W?
@@davidhardin6649 I would say you'd be close. Figure ~$4000-4500 for a tremec & decent clutch. That leaves you with ~$9000 for an engine. It all depends on how wild you want to go. A turn-key from Prestige is $11-12k.

samspace81 Awesome Cobra! I'm looking at the different makers myself currently. I like Backdraft for the wider wheelbase and extra legroom, I'm 6'4", 230lbs. Why did you choose Backdraft over FF or some of the other makers? Thanks

I'm 6 foot 2 and fit fine. I don't know which is better than which, they've all been similar. The Texas Stallion one had the most room if you search my channel.
Factory Five is a kit car....not BACKDRAFT. It is hand built on an assembly line

How does that Iconic 427 perform? I’m about to get one one of these and looking at Iconic 427, Roush 427 and Keith Craft 427 which is 585HP for slightly less than Iconic.
Runs strong, I'd go with Roush

No, not everything is for sale at the right price. When you wish for a dream car at the age of 10 and spend the next 55 years of your life trying to acquire it, you are not going to sell it. Not for a million, or a hundred million. The gentlemen in this car are clearly in their 60's, they might be able to enjoy the car for another 15 or 20 years. Dreams are priceless for a reason, and those who obtain their dreams will part with them for nothing short of God Himself. Those who love money can never understand this. It is not for sale. Bill Gates could not buy this car off of them.

thats a 427 small block not an FE. Its a very nice car but for my taste I dont care for the bling. the chrome pipes the windshield trim the mags all too brite I would have done the pipes in satin flat black and went with the Argent and black rims instead of the polished lips. just the roll bar and bumpers chrome and head light bezels
