Frollo to me is the scariest Disney villain due to the fact that there are many real life people who have used religion as an excuse to do evil just as he did. That said, I do agree with the scene of him singing "Hellfire" being included on this list. Thanks for uploading this!

As a kid I was so scared of the part where aurora pricked her finger. It wasn't malificient that scared me it was the way aurora eyes where in a spell and the creepy music. I love it now expecially malificient (fav villain).
I definitely understand! Her being hypnotized is very creepy! Maleficent is my favorite villain also! :)
I think what also makes it scary is that Aurora is actually in the dark following this green orb.

And you can see Aurora sort of trying to snap out of it at the end when she pulls her hand back, but she can't quite manage it.

number 5. i'm 25 now and i still think that scene is terrifying. Maleficent's eyes in the fireplace, aurora becoming possessed, and then the voice calling aurora's name. so so creepy. on a separate note, i agree with you about Hellfire. It's my actually my #1 fave villain song.
Gonna have to agree with your Top 3 there. STILL can't watch Lampwick turning into a donkey without getting nauseous. And the Evil Queen's transformation never fails to scare me.

I totally agree with all of your Snow White scenes, Maleficent lures Aurora to the spindle, and Pinocchio (especially Pinocchio, that still creeps me out).

I don't think the scene of Maleficent guiding Aurora is scary at all. It was beautiful and slightly unnerving but that's all. I think the chase in lion king is far scarier.
I was always scared of the scene where Ariel's dad destroyed her stuff. It was his anger that made me scared.
Also, Pink Elephants on Parade scared me, too.

@Aishani CHAUDHURI At us the viewers as her eyes don't match the direction of her face. Maleficent is facing the Princess but her eyes are looking a little to her left.
It's like she knows that we know that she's there and we can't do anything to stop her.
well to be honest, the music where is Aurora got hypnotized and walked after it. That's creeped me out a little bit

The Coachman's Glare at the Tavern from Pinocchio gave me the creeps and it still does.

I was always terrified by the rat scene in Lady and the Tramp. I used to sit behind the couch and wait until the scene was over! I had nightmares for a long time.

I don't know why I was so scared by it! It hardly affects me now.
I was scared of most of these scenes but the pink elephant scene gives me chills still to this day. Between the music and the elephants, yikes it’s scary.

Quite surprised Night on Bald Mountain from Fantasia wasn't included.
I'm still scared of maleficent. Her whole appearance. And what scared me about Ursula was when she was in human form looking into the mirror where you saw her true form. It scared me how the bird got shooked.
Definitely, both of the scenes terrified me as a kid.

The Pinocchio donkey transformation scene also scared me and so did the Snow White forest scene. All when I was a kid.
I'm 29 and I switched on the light in the room to brace myself for the scene where Aurora prickes her finger: Maleficent there in the shadows, the creepy music, her hypnotized stare, the green light and her unwholesome complexion. It's utterly terrifing!

Strangely enough, he AND Genie both scared me. I thought that Friend Like Me was a sequel to the short film Lorenzo and I was therefore TERRIFIED of the Genie. I'm glad I know better now, since he (The Genie) reminds me of myself as an adult.
I still remember how when Maleficient hypnotizes Aurorsa, I used to jump off the couch and hide behind it as a kid for how scared the scene made me, it was so bad that I would always hide under the blankets and with the closet door closed because I thought she would come

for me without a doubt the scariest Disney moment is the Wildebeast chase in Lion King. That's the only Disney movie moment that truly terrified me. It's more the sound than the visuals but that music still scares me to this day.

Try listening to the music from the spindle scene of Sleeping Beauty in the dark. It makes it a whole lot scarier.
The rat entering the house in Lady & The Tramp always got me as a kid. The whole scene is a nightmare.
Mother Gothel’s death is truly one of the most unnerving scenes in Disney history. I didn’t think much of it as a kid, but re-watching it now, I realised how gruesome it was. Her screams and the way she tries to hide her face in embarrassment with her cape. The animation during the transformation from new to old was scary in general. The way she trips on Rapunzel’s hair and frantically searches for something to grasp so that she doesn’t fall off the tower. When she looked in the broken mirror to see that she had lost the youth in her it quite was disturbing. And even the fact that when the cape hits the ground, there is no corpse to be found is generally quite scary.
Gonna have to agree with you on number 1. I also would have added the fight between scar and simba from the lion king, especially the part where scar emerges back from the fire.

I think Ursula's defeat is scarier than when she first becomes a giant, just because of the look on her face as she falls and the flash of her skeleton. Aurora's blank look during the spinning wheel scene is creepy, too.
I would like to know what the Pink Elephants scene was supposed to make people feel, actually. As for me...well, Snow White was pretty scary (by Disney standards) for several reasons, but Pleasure Island scared me more than anything in Snow White.

the Grizzly attack in Fox and the Hound scared me at the age of 4, Night on Bald Mountain at the age of 5

You missed two. Judge doom revealing he's a toon from who framed roger rabbit because christopher lloyds voice is extremely high pitched and friends on the other side from princess and the frog because of the imagery used. Some honorable mentions would be judy and nicks run through the jungle from zootopia and the island fight from big hero 6 plus the fire scene from a extremely lesser known disney bolt.
When I was young, the scene where the Beast yells at Belle for going into the West Wing gave me nightmares. Just the way he yells “GET OUT!” made me want to cry. 🌹🥀
I think that Night On Bold Mountain is scary. And Pink Elephants On Parade is one of my favs but it used to freak me out (Dumbo is my fav movie)
When I was 3,I thought the Elephant Parade was just a dream instead of Dumbo being drunk,and I loved the elephant parade part. I'm currently 11 and the part from Pinocchio when they turn into donkeys still freaks me out!

As a kid, I was scared of both scenes that you showed from Dumbo and Pinocchio. Those two movies were my least watched.
A few of these scared me as a kid, but #5 was the only one that truly terrified me and gave me an actual nightmare. At about age 4, I dreamed that I was standing at the bottom of the staircase in the house I lived in at the time and Maleficent was standing at the top of the stairs, mostly hidden in darkness, with just her outline and her eyes visible. The creepy music from the scene in the movie was playing, and I kept walking up the stairs, slowly, slowly. I desperately wanted to turn and run the other way, but all I could do was keep walking toward Maleficent, one step at a time. I woke up just as I dreamed I was about to reach the top.
but even to merida....the part when the mardu apears at the cave...it has a scary moment there....even pixar is good

That's something you should include here because it's obviously scary when the another deer attacks the screen
The pink elephants were the worst, the only thing my older brother couldn't made fun of me becase he was also scared to death.
But the scene that I can tell that I almost cried was the "they never come back as boys" part of Pinocchio. The evil laugh, even the wolves being scared and the face was a literal jumpscare!
For me the scariest moments were and still are : The coachman's glare while he was sharing his plans with the fox and the cat (Pinnochio); The moment when the sea witch revealed herself on the ship and also when the seagull saw the reflection of her real face in the mirror; The transformation of the evil queen and the scene where she found the princess at the house of the dwarfs - the way she was staring at her; But number 1 by far is the scene with Maleficent's glowing eyes in the fireplace, the way she lured Aurora and even the theme, everything is creepy. The two scenes that made me really nervous were when Shere Khan found Mowgli and started chasing him and when Monstro the whale was chasing Pinnochio and Giappetto.

The scariest Disney moments for me is when the boys in Pinocchio turn into donkeys as a result of going to Pleasure Island. The scariest Disney moment is in The Sword and the Stone when Madame Mim turns into a dragon during the wizards duel scene especially when she becomes giant and the fire around her due to her transformation.

In one of the Disney Classic Storybooks, the Pinocchio book, one of the pages showed Monstro sneezing the raft out to sea, and he was angry. I still never understood why I always borrow that book at the Elmwood Park Public Library.
Snow White and Sleeping Beauty creeps the hell out of me and also Pinnochio and The Hunchback of Notre Dame had very dark parts. But my sister always was scared of Alice in Wonderland and Dumbo.

I think that Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and Medusa from Rescuers had the scariest appearances. I don’t know why Medusa creeping me out so much. Probably because she was extremely crazy 😂

I agree that the parts when Dumbo hallucinates, the Evil Queen transforms into an old hag, and when Maleficent hypnotizes Aurora are pretty scary. Some of the other parts not included in this video that I found scary are when the three Good Fairies enter the Forbidden Mountain to rescue Prince Philip in "Sleeping Beauty," Sergeant Tibbs enters the DeVil Mansion to discover that's where the stolen Dalmatian puppies are being held prisoner in "101 Dalmatians," Maurice gets lost in the woods and chased by wolves in "Beauty and the Beast," Jafar and Aladdin meet in the dungeon with Jafar disguised as an old cripple in "Aladdin," and the ship gets destroyed in the hurricane in "The Little Mermaid."

I liked the pink elephants song when I was a kid...idk maybe because it was authentically pleasing??? But pleasure island in Pinocchio messed me up. *shudders* childhood nightmares
The ghouls in the Haunted Mansion ride pop up from behind boxes and gravestones in the attic and graveyard give me the jumpscares along with the spooky bride and some other ghosts and scary noises. It made me afraid of the dark. I feel like having nightlights in my bedroom and hiding under my covers and try to sleep.
I'm not the only one who freaked out about that detail? That's a relief! I remember noticing those things in the Haunted Mansion and started screaming bloody murder, I've been afraid of haunted houses thanks to that experience.
I remember when I went on this attraction about a few years ago and that ending part when you see the Ghosts beside you ALONE made me literally skaken-up. Yikes..😫
I'm gonna share two of mine here
1. The death of the Tim Curry organ from Beauty and the Beasts Enchanted Christmas. The facial expressions on him during the entire scene scare the ever loving fuck out of me
2. The opening scene of The Great Mouse Detective. I screamed the first time.I saw it. Still one of my favorites but it still scares the hell outta me every time. I think I just hate Fidget now lmao
