Marvel vs. Capcom is the third game in a series of fighting games where Capcom crossed over characters from their properties with characters from Marvel Comics. Like its predecessors, X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom features its signature combo system where multiple attacks can be easily chained together and can be followed up with an air launching attack for more comboing opportunities. It also has character assists where a secondary character can be called upon to either add on to combos or help disrupt the opponent's moves.
KusogeMan ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/K... ) in this run plays the PlayStation version's Battle mode using Ryu and takes down Onslaught in record time.

Weird I thought I had commented here… I’m the maker of this TAS,you can watch some unpublished TAS in my channel and the next TAS will take longer to produce because it’s a Sonic game
This was a good TAS, and which Sonic game are you TASing?
@@KGershkoff Sonic R 100% unlocks currently, it will take some time cause the last 2 stages may be super hard to optimize properly and i haven't got my hands on it for a while
:3 @@KusogeMan
@@KusogeMan Well, good luck brother. Take your time.
Don't listen to the haters about "not being a tas". I've played this game and other fighters extensively. Combos usually have damage scaling so you can't find a game breaking combo to devastate your enemy. This is called balancing and most fighting games made after the 16 bit era have some form of anti-cheese mechanic. Just noobs being noobs. Great TAS.
“The hell’s KusogeMan playing Marvel for? That’s a good game!”
*PSX*
“Oh.”
tbf it's not that bad really, i like a lot the fact you have infinite assists, I highly recommend playing it with a friend
The psone ver is great tho
Wow, you can really tell the hardware restrictions going on with this port.
How so?
@@werewolfjedi38 Marvel vs Capcom 1 was a 2v2 fighting game with additional assist characters like Colossus and whatnot that were not playable themselves. The Playstation version here has the trouble of not being able to load four full characters at once, so they change it to be a 1v1 fighter with your second player being the assist and set to to be best-of-three rounds rather than a 1-round 2v2. Hardware limitations are also why you'd notice animation cuts in X-Men VS Street Fighter and Marvel 1's arcade versions compared to Marvel Super Heroes and X-Men: Children of the Atom to get a bit more RAM squeezed out to accommodate. It's actually quite fascinating to see how much they had to alter the game in order to get it to even run on PSX hardware, especially since Marvel 2 on things like the Dreamcast were nigh arcade-perfect. It really puts it into perspective just how constrained the old consoles were.
I remember having the game and you could do a 2 character setup on the ps1. Your assist was randomized when you did.
@@werewolfjedi38 That mode locked both players into playing as the same characters. It was decent enough of a compromise to get the game working more like the arcade, but it wasn't very fun, IMO.
A lot of games that were ported to PS1 from the arcades were lacking in some, or a lot, of ways. Tekken is another example.
4:14 - The name's Gambit....REMEMBER IT!
Wow the loading screens are so stylish.
KusogeMan always coming through with the fighting tas. Good ish my man!
Thanks! I don’t get a lot of positive feedback lol
@@KusogeManyou are loved and appreciated 🖤
Even though the PSX port doesn't have the duo team, the fact that the specials work like Street Fighter EX more than makes up for it, especially if you play it on Duckstation, which the loads times can be adjusted to be basically non existent
Me, before video started: "6 minutes? Dang, that's fast."
Me, once the video started: "6 minutes WITH LOADING TIMES!?"
You could have just spam standing Lp,Mp,Sp then HK Tatsu on Onslaught to stunlock him
i didn't knew you could start with a ryu transformation. i always wasted the free lv1 bar to transform.
Atratraiduguet!
1 279 400 pts. Wow
I used to love this game, however watching this it kinda feels like it may be the LEAST BALANCED fighting game ever haha
this doesn't look like a tas
You don't look like a tas
your moms a tas
it is, its just not a playaround, this one aims for fastest time, not for entertainment value like others.
@@laharl2k This doesn't even look optimized. Also, there are likely other characters that can complete this game faster.
Lol, so every perfect is just a coincidence and random standing heavies or shoryukens are just good planning against the comp?
CBT guy as the intro art again, let’s fucking gooooo
