Video tutorial on changing the traction/ drive cable on your Toro or Lawnboy push mower. This is a very easy job. Why take it to the shop when you can save yourself some $$ by replacing it yourself. I explain in detail on how to change and adjust the cable to get your mower back into ship shape and bristol fashion!

"Take a Bath" -- LOL! You just helped me hose down my conscience. Our usual mower runs on elbow grease, but we're getting old, and this place is hilly. A neighbor with a busy life lets us borrow a mower like this one in your videos, and it needs maintenance. The drive cable was frayed, so an obviously meaningful way to reward her generosity was to replace it for her, but of course we needed to see how to do it right. Thank you so much for putting this information out there.
You're welcome.. Glad to help.. It's nice of you to replace the cable for her... 🙂
@@JLPicard440 - Nice of you to make being nice so easy for us! Seriously, in those nine minutes on this TH-cam page, we went from being ridiculously confused by that cable (even fearing that we should have left the mostly useless old one on!) to knowing how to get it working just right. You made at least two people's day yesterday, and probably three. Thanks again!
@@loreleikring5188 Thank you so much! Now you've made my day... 🙂
Thanks, excellent how to video explanation. 👍👍👍
Glad it was helpful! You're welcome... :-)
Thanks for the info!
You bet!
Thanks, is it the same process for a Toro?
You're welcome. Yes, if it's configured like this one..
