Nice work. Shifter was in a bad state. A vacuum always help when doing interior works.
I need to invest ina car vacuum I still don’t have one 🤦♂️
It is awesome to see you doing these projects, gives others confidence to dive in on their own. Are you getting some wheel vibrations when driving?
Not really, but I’m driving on 16s with thin tires so the potholes feel a lot worse
Oh God all that strawberry looking crap might be the old seals lol
Oh shoot your right lmao it’s about the same color
2:40 - That disconnected ground is probably why your dash was wonky on the way from California to New York. 😛
The shifter kit was a very needed repair. I'd have been even more meticulous about getting every speck of the crufty pink crud out of there, alcohol wipe and new grease, before installing the new parts.
Looking great. You're shaming me for not doing any of the Hijet upgrades that I need to do this winter.
Get to work on that hijet!!! 😂
add gas Struts to both sides and remove hood prop rod
I can't because it fiberglass it would make It even worse
Ask them to re-enforce the fiber glass with strips of thin gauge steel and use "panel bond" this way you can use the hardware for the struts to attach to the bottom of the hood, as now they will be supported by the steel strips@@Waybeforethefame it can be done and is your best option for longevity
Amazing car❤ can I do it on other cars?
Yes you can!
Shifter was FUBAR lmao
It was roughhhh
Does that go right into the trans, i would have vacuumed all the gunk out.
I couldn't find one that was small enough sadly
You got a link to the parts? Do these bushings work for a Jimny as well?
yeah I ordered one for the Samurai and it works good
I just got a pick with like maybe 15 pieces for 80 shipped
15 pieces wow that must be even better
@@Waybeforethefame Want a link? I have a whole guide on working on the cappy and how to get parts with no hassle
@@Televisionman4lyf Parts with no hassle? I'm calling cap(pun intended).
Waited 4 months for a sway bar and some brake pads lol
@@japplebarry5627 Waiting and hassling are different. Like I am talking No problems other having to actually find the parts
@@japplebarry5627 waiting and hassle arent the same thing bud.
Where can I find the kit??
eBay or buyee
