- This is episode Three of the Open Cafe 2022 series.
Open cafe is the biggest Suzuki Cappuccino event in the world and over 300 cars attended.
There are just too many cars to put in one video so I've broken it up.
I'm not about playing favorites. Everyone who showed up gets some airtime.

Car 152 had a one piece roof and carbon doors.
I'm not sure what distracted me at that booth but I didn't do a good job of covering their cars unfortunately. I didn't notice the one piece roof until I was uploading the video to TH-cam.

90% of the time nothing.
They are commemorative plates. Commemorative plates are not yellow.
To my knowledge there's only one cappuccino that attends open cafe that's not registered as kei and that's because it has a 4age in it.
I spoke to the owner and that car's in the shop at the moment.
(there could be others but I haven't studied the footage that close.)
The owners that I spoke to, that have engines that are outside of k-spec, just don't say anything at the inspection. As engine capacity is not tested during the 2 yearly inspection they remain Kei.
The owners that I spoke to that have body work that's outside of k-spec simply change wheels and remove/swap fenders for the 2 yearly inspections.
There is no benefit to changing away from k-spec because everything doubles in price. Why do it?
If I was to put an SR20 in my cappuccino the day after I registered it, I'd drive it as a k-car for 2 years until it was time for the inspection.
No problem unless a cop opens your hood and why would they do that?
Save dat money.
