    Being able to take the steeing wheel off is one heck of a awesome layer of security for your car. I'd put the steering wheel in the trunk if it fits. Great for if your parking in a sketchy area or long term parking.

    The intercooler mounts are made to take grommets and just need to bend the bracket down.

      @@WaybeforethefameSometimes some hot rod parts gotta be modified to fit. It's just part of modding any project car.

    As long as you took a step forward, you can call it progress. And now after a moment of reflection, on to the next step.

    Big day for the Cappuccino! How did you get a 50 degree Fahrenheit day in New York in late December? It's cold and raining and flurrying here in central Kentucky.
    6:40 - So glad you got LED headlights. That's a huge win and it looked a lot easier than the relay wiring harness that I need to install to get LED headlights on the switched ground Hijet truck. Maybe I should have bought Japanese LED replacement headlights instead of converting to US wired LED H4 5X7 headlamps. I've been delaying the LED headlights until I have the dash removed for painting the interior, along with a lot of other little wiring projects so I don't need to cram my old body upside down under the dash of a tiny kei car, but your video makes me want to install the LED headlights sooner rather than waiting until the spring.
    While the headlight assemblies were out of the Cappuccino, I'd have wet sanded them from 1200-2400-3600 and sprayed them with two part clear coat (2K is available in a special rattle can) so the plastic lenses looked new for another 15 years. Shiny new headlight lenses are the other half of the LED upgrade to make an old car look new again.

    Is the steering all the way in? You know the Cappuccinos have telescopic adjustment, it might not be optimal, but if it's not fully in you're lose free real estate.

    Yellow highbeams and Non yellow Lows us the most attractive and most JDM thing I could possibly think of.
    LEDs have always been a hassle so I usually go HID, but for the highbeam H1 are built to use only H1 bulbs, could of gone with one of those plug n play Xenon 10k ultra white/blue white Halogens.
    Im just not a fan of cutting up harnesses lol Intercooler just needs grommets but you could if you wanted heat them up and bend em down worse case scet

    • @Waybeforethefame
      @Waybeforethefame  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah yellow high beams would be fire but I was already hard to find these H1s

    • @TonyYuuki
      @TonyYuuki 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Waybeforethefame H1s are weird. Sometimes you can find em in abundance left and right other times not so much. Tho LED h1s i could see not being a thing Stateside since no vehicle 2001 and newer uses h1 anymore.
      If you plan on keeping this car id black house the headlights, would look amazing
