You mentioned the 748 not being ULEZ compliant, which is true. The fireblade isn’t either according to the system. But you can apply to Honda (for free) and get the CoC. My fireblade an ‘05 (but same as yours) is now compliant. Oh and mine is genuine repsol 😂 no red wheels for me!
Hi Alex, I don't recommend changing loads of parts on the Suzuki because it might get really expensive really quickly. Gareth mentioned the secondary butterflies: there is a motor(which operates the secondary valves) which is sealed with rivets (needs to be drilled off). There are solder which sometimes crack and they loose contact. It's really easy fix and I have done it on my friends K4 600. I really recommend to check it out first before touching anything else!
This is the usual Gixxer coil and plugs worn issues. They must not have been doing bikes for long if they dont realise this. Stick on coil and plug issue

Alex mate, I had the same issue on my K2 GSXR which turned out to be the fuel pump... Worked perfectly with full power until warm then not throttle/power. Might be worth looking into to see if that helps your issue?
Nice bikes!! Would be really cool if you could do some content of starting off on bike track days. Ideally starting off from preparing the bike and kit you need personally. Then what it's like on an actual day on the track. I bought an R6 for the track this year so would be really helpful! Great watching your stuff and keep up the good content!

As a recovering car guy, I've witnessed modern cars slowly losing their soul. They've become disconnected. One layer removed from the human. That to me takes much of the joy out of driving. Bikes still have that though, at least for now. You can still walk into a dealers' and buy a bike with a cable throttle, for example, and no rider assists other than basic traction control & ABS. The sad reality is that over-reliance on electronics is slowly creeping its way into this market too, starting with the top performance models. Granted, without ride-by-wire (and the associated bells & whistles), a 200+ bhp superbike would be absolutely lethal to a rider who hasn't developed the requisite finesse, and I get that "git gud" doesn't make for stellar PR when a significant fraction of your customers whisky-throttle themselves into oblivion, but I would have appreciated at least having the option of a cable throttle for those of us who don't want to lose that direct connection. Doesn't help that professional opinion-havers get very easily swayed by shiny things. They're all over this tech craze, sleepwalking the entire industry into becoming little more than an extension to the car market, and in the process destroying something very special.
Under the switchgear on the throttle side there should be a button that raises the idle for cold starts, so it'll tickover without having to blip the throttle on the 748.
they are new to bikes. Can tell too with the claim they made that s1000rr dominated BSB and WSB when in reality it got tonked and BMWs only success was at the IOM for a short period as BMW offloaded all the race chassis that nobody bought as the chassis was wooden when you turned the assists off.

2 questions. 1) Has the race bike got any oil in it? 2) Could it possibly be that what you really need is a (8,000 mile) 2001 Suzuki Bandit 600S that I have to get rid of to, A) Live a little longer, and B) To afford a fruity exhaust for my Audi TT. The 748 isn't just the best bike there, it's the best bike there ever was. I had a 748R. Nothing beats changing down just for the sound in the tunnel between Meon Hut and Petersfield on the A272. Gear changes for the sound and no other reason.

90’s Ducati’s are of a different class. My cousin had a 916 which was awesome. I never went on it with him but it sounded epic.
Hard to beat an almost Matrix Reloaded rumbly hammer cycle!
A questions for all the boys - what's your perspectives on cruiser and dual sport motorcycles? Would be brilliant to see a roadtrip or some green laning stuff with them.
Moped, moped, moped! Poland would be cool, but really, I think a moped ride to a rich Italian resort in Amalfi or even better, Palermo in Sicily would suit the theme better.
Bikes bikes bikes !!!! Love the videos keep them coming what a collection 🤩
more bike stuff alex and get taylor on a bike asap
Track days, a little tour or two and some small builds would be lovely. Also maybe try out some different styles of bike.
Definitely love to see some motorbike track day videos, maybe on this channel. Great content as always guys 👌
That Ducati is art.
Excellent love the Ducati I have had 4 Ducati's & still have 1. But if you ride mopeds you should ride honda PC 50s or express not the modern rubbish.
Yes, pleaseeee do a Ducati roadtrip vid. That would be amazing!!!!!
Just more bikes. Anything a build and big road trip sounds really cool
A video about the costs and effort involved in track days would be good, obviously auto Alex style so completely off the cuff 😂
I live in Devon UK, got myself a aprilia tuono v4r, Gen 3 zx10r, gen 2 zx12r, and a Triumph TT600! Love my bikes, I use them daily too lol. Your bikes definitely need a clean lol
The 748 isn't just the best bike there, it's the best bike there ever was. I had a 748R. Nothing beats changing down just for the sound in the tunnel between Meon Hut and Petersfield on the A272. Gear changes for the sound and no other reason.
@@bigduphusaj162 it's a matter of taste... there's no comparison. Ducati keys on show... yamaha keys kidden where people won't see them.. vtwin growl versus whiny Japanese 4 pot noise?
I've recently been becoming more jealous and resentful of your 993 purchase and as such,it is some solace to see you now have a far higher chance of being vaporised 😂
Didn't know you was like that 😮😊
If you like The sound and vibration from the Ducati, you have to try a Buell xb12 (2007 modell has a perfect pitch👌)
Yes i'd like to see you guys riding your bikes to Poland :)
Im looking into getting a 1st bike but being a bigger guy (6ft tall and 17st) a 125 is out of the question. Whats your recommendations?
Hey Alex check on the stator and rectifier on the gsxr. my 06 has the same issue. if the bike gets extremely hot it will fry the wiring connectors. :) seems to be the only thing wrong with my gixxer though. been reliable everywhere else!
Love the bikes! Especially the ducati! Loved taking photos of both ducati's at Caffine and Machine 👌 would love to get some more !
