Considering these MAD BUGGERS race at speeds in excess of 200 MPH during pouring rain on country roads. Car racing? Nah, THESE racers havs balls of CrCoNi (An alloy of Chromium, Cobalt and Nickel)!! In other words.. TOUGH STUFF!! 😏 😎🇬🇧
Channing seemed nice enough. He wasn't rude. He was there to watch the race and politely said so. Well done for just saying thanks and leaving him to it.
Agreed, who the heck is he. Oh that’s right Dr google informed he is some kind of American actor, right…… boring. Good to see Alex and Gareth doing some bike stuff together.
Love this video guys, had the privilege of being a sidecar passenger round here in 2007 on a CBR600, I’ve jumped out of planes, worked on the top of wind turbines offshore and now fly Airbus jets around Europe and nothing compares to the TT, thanks guys for such great coverage of an event which for many people is the pinnacle of motorsport 👍🏻
I attended this years TT and what and experience it was! It’s hard to explain how phenomenal it is and I’m totally hooked now. I met the Birchall brothers one evening and they’re proper gents, sidecars don’t get the recognition they deserve. Keep up the cracking work, Alex
In 2015 I described this to my mate as F1 mixed with Rally group B but on bikes. He didn't get it until we waited next to the road and noticed no barriers and the bikes were doing 180MPH.
I'm not really blaming AA per se, but imagine being Tatum for a sec. You went to a race to unwind and have a good time, and because of your celeb status, some random YT'er comes up to you. Expecting a selfie or something, you courteously listen to what he has to say instead of just telling him to sod off. Instead, he just randomly starts trying to do an interview with you as you're watching the race when normally that's something he'd have to book and pay for. I think all things considered, he was pretty fair and handled that better than a lot of celebs do.
2:46 that's why I love rally too. You can get right up to the cars as they go flat past you spraying dust everywhere. this and rally are probably the only motorsports where just being a fan trackside gives you an adrenaline rush, like Gareth said one small mistake by these guys and your gone.
Having been to the Isle of Man and experiencing the athmosphere on the island during TT week, meeting like minded people from all over the globe and generally enjoying the beauty of that place, I can't recommend it enough to go there and see it for yourself. You wont regret doing so. It should be on every petrolheads bucket list right at the top. Thanks Alex and Gareth for taking us along. It reminded me of the good times I had there in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Awesome
Absolutely amazing video, so good to see some bikes on here. And the camera work blew me away, I had goosebumps watching these beautiful machines. Nice one guys
Absolutely loved this little series, loved the bikes, loved the content and would really love to see it again next year. What an opportunity and to see you’re channel grow like it has mate is amazing, I can’t wait to see what the future holds 👌💪
The quality of these videos is getting exponentially better week on week :0 in a month or so we’ll be all heading down to our nearest imax to watch the latest auto alex vids at this rate!
"Where else in motorsport can you get this close?" Rally. Alex you should try and get to the Isle of Mull for the Mull rally this year, it's October time. But you might struggle getting accomodation... it's like the rally version of the TT. Awesome experience.
Honestly one the best vids about the TT i have seen. Completely awesome and well portrayed from a "on the ground" perspective. Showing the pure insanity of the sport. Also tops to letting Channing just chill like a normal person, and enjoy the TT for his first time as well.
LOL at your attempt to interview Channing Tatum! At least he was polite! He always comes across as sound. I'm not into organ donor machines myself, but I get the thrill of the speed and the noise, having been to a F1 practice day in Silverstone many years ago. The way the noise gets you right in the chest is unreal.
Errr.....I believe the fastest lap ever recorded was Mr. G. Formby piloting his 'Shuttleworth Snap'. A record that remains unbeaten 'til this day......
You excicuted the Channing situation perfectly. You had the right balance of treating him like you would a mate but at the same time letting him know how much of a fan you are. I work the Sky Sports Boxing shows as security and that’s the way I find works the best! Also Big credit to the lady who let you watch from her garden, what a woman and what a garden!
I grew up in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, part of the 'Triangle' of Coleraine, Portrush & Portstewart, which makes up the route of the North West 200. A road race circuit similar to the Isle of Man. Lunatics racing bikes seemed quite normal to me growing up. Massive respect to anyone who has the stones to race a bike on any road course. I do a bit of rallying, but at least if I bin it I have a roll cage and plenty of metal around me to absorb the impact. I found out a few years ago that Robert Dunlop used to come to my parents' house in Kilraughts to make payments on a bike he bought on finance with the company my Dad worked for, well before he was old enough to legally ride it on the road. And he'd come on the bike he wasn't supposed to be riding. 👍
I've been going to the TT since 2016 and followed you from car throttle days to your own channel and got to say I'm loving the bike content! Gareth is great on the channel and you are like two kids seeing chocolate for the first time at the TT. Exactly how I felt and what keeps me going back. Its a amazing place! Keep up the good work 😁. P.s love taylor and all the car stuff too 🥰
When I first saw the video pop up I thought "how entertaining can watching 2 blokes watch bikes be?" Very, it turns out. Stellar work guys! Props also to the older gent silently smashing it around the course in the car like he's driving a taxi.
You know what, you met and spoke to Channing Tatum. That’s pretty fucking cool! If I saw an opportunity, I’d take it too. You’re one of my favorite TH-camrs and it’s because you’re bold and get out there that brings everyone back. It was awkward and terrible but next time you’ll be more relaxed because you will be on a show and you’ll both laugh it off. Guaranteed!
Nevermind Channing.... You should have found a one superstar DJ Mr Carl Cox. Dudes got an amazing car collection and I think runs his own TT team. I'd imagine he'd have been well up for a chat!
This is why I love watching the WRC. You can almost touch the cars as they zoom past. It's a great buzz! These bikes look mental. I'll have to get there one year!
You cannot describe the TT. Words are not enough. It’s something you have to experience, and better still, ride. I’ve had that privilege twice. Unforgetable👌
Your channel is amazing. Love the car content, the bike content and the interaction between everyone in the crew. As an added bonus, you make for an awesome travel guide channel. Already did the Belgium trip to beer and ribs, and now I'm definitely going to the isle! Thabk you for another great video
I started as a car guy, but man it is so expensive to maintain and have a car where I live, so I started riding bikes, they are much cheaper to own and they are way quicker for the same money of a car. They are dangerous and definetly not for everyone, you need to have discipline on a bike or you will get in trouble in so many levels.
That safety sweep reminds me of anytime I’m at a stage rally and wishing I knew the right people to ride along with those cars on their safety sweeps! Incredible video!
Real fuel motors bikes That are definitely rode by Legends in my opinion. To their potential. Is not only a musical journey on the ears. But a symphony to watch. Much respect
I just found your channel a week or so ago and have binged through every video now and loved them all. I love cars, new and old and absolutely love bikes too but don’t have one currently. Thanks for the entertainment, I’ll keep watching with great interest.
Great review guys. Your reaction to bikes going past 2 feet from your head was excellent. It never gets old. Even Steve Plater commentating had the same reaction on the television broadcast. Next one for you to go to is the North West 200 in Northern Ireland.
I love the dogs face when you started to talk about MANSCAPED. Just laid his head on the settee arm and thought, if he touches me with any of that stuff, chomp. :)
Not only a good video to watch. But, excellent work on the editing to put this video together 👍👍 You guys are so lucky to enjoy a great time at the Isle of Man.
I'll tell you why Alex TT riders are gladiators -they are sliding the bikes around and laying rubber down at 200mph on roads with lamp posts, trees, stone walls and sometimes guard rails, or just sheer drops next to the track. Some corners they move their heads out of the way of a lamp post (because that is the fastest line). Injury and survival rates similar to 60s GP racers. Nobody loves the loss, but you can't have the thrill without the risk. These are not highly paid stars (many work on the tools) and they are approachable, and will speak to fans.
Surprising how many people think Channing Ataum was being a douch bag. The dude just politely said he wanted to watch the race and not be interviewed. Which is totally fair enough. His fame or popularity don't make you entitiled to that.
I rode a motorcycle myself for many years and the TT was always a goal. But I realize: I'm too cowardly to watch myself. And that's exactly why I thank you for this great report. Many, many thanks from Hamburg.
I feel like as a layman I got no real understanding from what was said about the difference between a superstock bike and a superbike - and he didn't answer the question about times. Also didn't mention the power - do superbikes make more power? Amazing video though!
I once met a friend of Bob Price who said "anyone thinking of riding around the TT course on holiday should watch Bob's crash. It may save their life.". I did and it did....that crash mat (17mins 30 secs) is there to protect the pub, not you, and a lot of people forget to slow down when they come out of the National speed limit....still want to go back and have another go though🏍️💨💨💨💨💨👍

Just waiting for the comment of Channing at the moment... 😅😂 Awesome vid! ❤
Polite interaction between a guy who didn't want to do an interview and a guy who was nervous about doing it 😂 Excellent video in the entirety
😂😂😂
I just cringed myself a second arsehole, so there’s that…
The interaction with Channing Tatum is one of the most awkward things I've ever seen 😂
I have never felt second hand awkward like that before in my life
Brutal 😂
It wasnt that bad
It was like watching the Office lol
he was a bit of a dick if you ask me
That was nearly as awkward as some of Martin Brundles F1 grid walks.😂
I wouldn’t recognise Tatum if he were standing next to me… I’d notice Alex straight away 😂
Agreed, who the heck is he. Oh that’s right Dr google informed he is some kind of American actor, right…… boring. Good to see Alex and Gareth doing some bike stuff together.
Probably because we see alex on a daily basis almost

I give zero forks about bikes but the Isle of Man content has been amaaaaazing! Fun to see Gareth again as well! And Channing. (lol)
Love that Channing Tatum / Will bit 🤣 Crying 😭
I think that’s the most awkward I have ever felt while watching TH-cam. It made my socks fall right off.
😅😅😅
No idea who that is 😅
It'll take a while to un-curl my toes after that one 😂
Like asking a girl out for the first time and she says no 😅
Hats off to Honda for giving you this opportunity, and presumably sorting out the permissions to use official footage...
Indeed. Legends!

My face has gone red from the second hand embarrassment of the Channing Tatum part 😅 great video as always though! ❤

This really is the last holdout of the Group B vibe with how close the spectators are.
