Dude.... This is awesome. Considering how "cheap" nice bikes are compared to nice cars, I always wondered what a well-off bikers collection looks like. Even Keanu's collection is underwhelming in my opinion, not a lot of wealthy folks are TRULY into supersports. This... is everything I imagined. Tell your buddy Damon we all owe him a profound and heartfelt THANK YOU for sharing such a personal collection.
@SinnerGarage can't wait for pt. 2! Just finished the video and WOW I am even more impressed than I initially thought. He didn't just buy the best models, has the most elite trim OF the best models! That GSXR-R and 916 are truly unicorn bikes. That's how it's done properly🫡🫡🫡✌️🏍
There's a couple videos of really big motorcycle collections but they're not very common, The Late Brake Show did one on a private collection consisting mostly of Ducati flagship superbikes from the 80s until now but also some of their BSB, WSBK and Moto GP bikes along with a quite a few rare Hondas. I think the main reason for videos of big collections being so rare is because motorcycles simply aren't all that popular and a big part of the motorcycle community online only wants to see the latest and greatest 200+hp motorcycle. Might also have to do with how much easier motorcycle are to steal and transport than cars because they can just be loaded in a van and driven wherever the thief wants without anyone seeing the bike so the extra level of privacy is probably quite welcome for most collectors
I think I have read about every single one of these bikes in assorted motorcycle magazines over the decades. I would pay cash money to see these in person. Very historic collection. Better than an art museum! Great video!
Such a fantastic collection! Not many people know about the original Yamaha R7 and its a shame they used the same name with the recent R7's that were produced. That and the RC51 have to be my top 2 from this collection! Working on building up my own collection one bike at a time! Thanks for the great video!
Unbelievable collection but it’s such a shame that the bikes don’t get ridden. They’re beautiful to look at but must be way more thrilling to ride, looks like he buys them as an investment, awesome vid & new sub here from Philadelphia, Pa!
In 2014 I bought a 1989 Yamaha FZR1000. 4,002 miles, last registered in 1991. Still had stock tires. After putting 24,000 miles I am getting ready to refresh it. That OW01 is so awesome!
Thanks for Sharing! Such a classic collection! But wouldn't you want to run them from time to time? You gotta love the newer bikes, but this collection is the highlight of a special era gone past.
Notes on the Ducati 888: They built and shipped 200 bikes for the USA in 1993. All were 888 SPO models. They built 190 1994 888 SPO Ltd bikes, sold 75 of them in the USA, then the 916 came out and they shipped the rest back to Italy and converted them to 888 Strada models. So there are only 275 888 SPO Ducati Superbikes in the USA. I owned one of the 1993 bikes for about six years. The above information comes from Mike Cecchini who was the most knowledgeable person on the 851/888 scene for many years and owned a few of each. Every bike in that collection is wonderful. Somebody needs to dust them off. 😉
I owned an 888 SPO. Not the fastest bike I've ever owned but by far, my fave. Sorry I got rid of it. I had a customer who lived in Greenwich . For 5 years he went to the Daytona 200 and bought the winning bike(s). Then he bought about 20 or so more collectable bikes.
RC30 for me. I saw them in showrooms too, and the last one I saw in person was hanging up in Joey Dunlop's pub. I actually owned a ZXR750 (Kawasaki green of course) H2 and a '92 'blade in White/ red/ purple. A mate of mine owned an RC45. I ride a Hayabusa gen2 in black/silver with 3000 miles on the clock. I should store it for my retirement lol.
had an 86 GSX R 750 red black and silver the least common color and have seen two with the dry clutch back in the day. Very rare very noisy and very cool. I would ride on all of these a little more than he is but an awesome collection none the less
The owner mentioned that RC45 didn’t win championships…but it actually did. John Kocinski won it in 1997 under Castrol livery, and several endurance championships title…not to mention the all Japan superbike series’s
@@SinnerGarage Yeah, Aaron Slight could've won it too, but he's dealing with some head issues which resulted in his inconsistencies. Miguel Duhamel was also a bit closer to getting a title, but there's just too much talents and good teams here in the states at that team. If I was your friend, I wouldn't let go of the OWO1...they're great bike. I regret letting go of my '90 FZR400 Exup, little brother of that 750, a true baby rocket ship in the canyons and tracks. It could keep up with big bores. Also, RC30 & RC45 is a V4 gear train driven as I had owned NC30 and NC35, and they're all similar in configurations
This is a very complete collection for someone who lived in the US in the 90's. Im glad that someone is curating and caring for these things. But Damon- that RC45 did in fact win the SBK World Championship with Kocinski. This was a great way to start my morning- thank you.
My name is also Daymon & I’m a Huge Superbike fan! Lost my first Ducati this past year but hoping to get another soon! Great collection!! Happy New Year 🥂
Nice collection. I know a guy here in Seattle that sells bikes of this caliber. He's got connections all over the world. Prices far out of most people's leagues. I rode my RC30 for 10k miles before parking it in my kitchen. I currently have 9 bikes and 6 are in the house collecting the same layer of dust 😏
I volunteered to e a corner worker at Daytona 200 in 1990 and watched Freddie spencer make a last few laps on the RC 30 he retired . They have noisy cam drive gears I remember but they were a big deal .
I heard somewhere , in the paddock probably, that they were supposed to make 500 RC 45 :s to b in concordance with the homologation, but only reached 187........(Have an ISR RC15R one of two and an Nicco Bakker RC24R .....One of 9.........But without the R7 kit, the one which made it into a pukka RC30, plus de-kitted RC30)
That amazing collection needs a 1989 Honda NSR 125R 😉 I only saw 1 it was my best mates brothers first bike back in the late 80s. Still to this day that bike looks modern and stunning. It was years ahead of its time looks wise.
@@SinnerGarage have a Google of one mate. Look for the blue red and white with the white wheels 1989. Its got a huge front fender. They are so rare and stunning.
Amazing collection and a great video! The Yamaha FZ750R brought me into motorcycling. Glad to see that some of them can be found in such pristine condition.
25:33 this is the "N" variant. The "M" variant is the previous one (1993-1995, with only one air intake on the left side of front fairing. Scott Russell won with it the world championship). And the first one you presented in the video is the "K" variant. 🙂
great video! wow if only that was my garage. He did make a few errors on some comments ( rc30 is a v-four not inline, cbr900 came out in 92 not 90 and is the size and weight of a 600 but is in no way similar to 600's of the day. Honda built the cbr900 to replace the rc30, which was designed as a World Endurance bike in mid 80's called the VFR750R (RVF in the USA) hence the single sided swingarm for fast wheel changes. They stayed with the v-4 platform and came out with the rc45 2 years later. They then decided to increased the stroke to make the cbr900 a 893cc motor) which was never a race bike platform only a street bike since it did not fit into any racing series.)
Thanks!! I caught some mistakes after watching the video after Chris published it. I don't know why that came out of my mouth lol but also, I have learned some things I didn't know before. Thank you!!
Good catch on the CBR900's first introduction...it became however, useful in the Formula Extreme which it won several titles under Two Brother's Racing team (The Erions)
Nice collection!😋
That collection is crazy. Every damn dream bike lol
Agreed buddy 👊
Not every dream bike but quite a few of them
Nice taste in bikes. Those are all awesome cycles in pristine condition.

That R7 though.....❤❤❤
Yeap!
My personal fave out of this group of bikes as well!
Proper one, not the modern rubbish one.
Thats the perfect collection haha.

No collection is perfect. Without cruisers or shaft driven motorcycles, any collection is incomplete

The rc30 is a v4 not an inline 4
Certainly is a V4
Also there were more than 300 made😆
@@franklinwilkerson2061glad i’m not the only one who noticed that, some need a polish, seeing as they are mantle pieces - bloody ride them

Those hoses for the airbox on the Yamaha look menacing and the tank is stunning as well as overall quality.
It's a little sad to see so many awesome bikes turned into statues.
I promise he has plenty of bikes he rides.
Treat them like this or rotting in a barn?
I agree. They need to be ridden. All of them. They might as well all be fakes just sitting there doing nothing.
They have value just looking at them, sometimes I just look at my bikes and brings joy. Then I get on one and drive through a desert to the sea.
