Thank you Chris and Ash. I have been doing this WOE for 4 years and I still struggle with turning to food when stressed out. I am a preschool teacher of 3 and 4 years Olds. I am going to celebrate my mother's birthday on Saturday. I'm planning on eating healthy and splurging on tiramisu. I don't drink sodas. Thank you for talking about this.

Went to Dr this week & told her that I was using Carnivore diet, lost 20#, bloodwork is better than last time, back to pre-diabetic. She says, "please don't tell me that you are doing that!" Dont understand the reasoning!
Amazing how blinded so many doctors are by the hype.
You should show your before photo more often. I find it difficult to even look at my before photos myself. But, I appreciate you being willing to show us that. BTW, you were also a beautiful couple “before”, but you do look healthier now.

What am I struggling with right now...the food budget. I need to go back to meal planning and shopping with a list, and ONLY buy what's on the list (and then cheap meat as my budget can handle). Everything's been getting more expensive but I've also been slacking off for a lot of reasons.
Haven't been losing weight lately either, but I know in my head it's probably because my shoulder has been acting up for a couple months & I've been inflamed and healing. Now that it's feeling better I'm hoping I'll start dropping again.

Good tasting carnivore bars that we can take on the run would be so awesome. The ones for sale are so expensive and you would make them taste much better I know. Your recipes have helped so many...we are all addicted and carnivore has helped my mind clear and make better decisions

I’d wish for any weight loss. I’m not gaining, just slowly losing cm. I threw away my scales and I’m just having dexa scans and bloodwork done every three months now. Since I see this as a way of eating (not a diet), I no longer need to stress about the weight loss. Just dropped the dairy and a little of the extra fat on my meat to see if it helps. Seems I still have some healing to do and I’m trusting the process 💕 Great video!

More context, my Uncle is celebrating his 90th birthday 7/19 and the party is on my birthday 7/20, because it’s a Saturday. I’ve been avoiding “events” because I’m afraid of temptation and cheating. This is a celebration I can’t miss.
My plan is to eat a bunch of beef before I go and have plenty of water on hand.

I missed the poll. My answer would honestly be how I like my coffee....cream. I am totally fine with Zero Sugar!!! I feel awful with sugar and grains. I feel amazing on carnivore. But I crave heavy cream in my sugar and often put chocolate LMNT in it. Not sure if that is sabotaging my weight loss.
The first time I put my mug on a scale, tared it out, and added 15mLs, I was SHOCKED by how little one serving actually is!! I stick with one cup a day, but stopping at 15mL is impossible!
I understand it can be hard. But it’s a process. A little at a time and you’ll get better and better. 😊👍🏼
I struggle with being mouthbored. If I'm not hungry, my mouth just wants something to do. I need to come up with a better checklist like 1) grab a glass of water, 2) entertain your hands instead, 3) don't try to solve the problem on Amazon. I don't so much fly off the rails with not-carnivore stuff. We still have animal crackers and other carbage around because of the 16 month old (but we're not restocking it!) but that's not my food anymore. It doesn't make me feel good. It isn't tempting. BUT. I'll go haywire eating stuff that's on-plan. And I'll make the excuse that I'm just listening to my body. Except that I'm not hungry, I'm mouthbored. I know calories don't matter, but if I don't count them all and try to stay close to 80/20, I won't lose anything. I'm just afraid I'm one of those people whose body finds calories in the air and treats every 4 hour gap between meals like a famine. I'm down 17lbs in 6 months after MUCH yo-yoing, but I know I could do better if I tried harder.
I feel your pain! I want something to snack on a lot, even when I'm not hungry. I don't care about sugary stuff, but I do want keto sweets, and I want crunchy stuff like crackers. Definitely need to find a way to stop that!

What I think may affect me the most, and what I’m kind of worried about, is how many times I am being fed by other people, whether it be at work, church, visiting friends and family out of state, or traveling to other countries. I suspect what my reality will be is to eat as well/clean as I can when I have control over it, so that those “cheat meals” or even “cheat weeks” won’t completely wreck me. Would love to hear your thoughts on this (Ash did kind of touch on it in regards to doing carnivore/keto/etc… for 30 or 90 day stints)!
Totally understand. I agree. I think limiting cheats to as close to zero as you can is important, but it’s also not realistic in the world we live it to say “never” for most people, so limiting it and then handling the rare occasions better is imperative I think. 👍🏼

Hi Ellie. This is a separate channel and I’ll be running both of them. Renaming the original channel wouldn’t make any sense as that’s about cooking. This channel is a related channel that’s an offshoot of that original channel.
