It’s been my understanding that a lot of people who quiet quit do so because they have been going above and beyond for no extra pay or recognition. It’s not to their detriment to quiet quit because they were being snubbed by the higher ups and were never going to get the opportunities.

Let me ask you something. You talked about doing tasks that are related to potential roles you want to be in. Performing duties outside of your responsibilities. My question is it it a red flag to embellish or put a different job title from your actual one. So for me, my official job title is customer technical service rep. But some of my job duties are similar to a business analyst position. Would I be wrong to put the title business analyst on my resume? The reason is because most recruiters search and only go by job title. I feel that my job title is hurting me. For me i want to get out of the tech industry and into either public health, biotech/pharma or health tech. Roles such as Reg Affairs, Quality assurance, Health policy analyst, Healthcare consultant, etc. But it's hard to do that when managers see the job title tech support or customer tech support rep. If I'm performing some of the duties already can i put the Business analyst title on my resume. It's not like I'm putting director or senior in the title.

The problem with writing a different title on your resume is that some companies will do a background check on applicants. if they find out you had a different title from what is on your resume, that will be a red flag and you might be disqualified. Talk to your manager about changing your job title and do your research and make sure you have a strong case for wanting to change your job title. goodluck

You can put your real job title on your resume and put highly important tasks with keywords, on the top of your list of duties.
It sounds like you're on your way to being an business analyst or someone working in an administrative capacity in the healthcare already.
You can look at this as your career ladder, moving from one step to another. You will feel better when listing the truth.
