Thank you for this good and honest review. I like GLE more, almost in every aspect. I think its only important minus is driving agility (not a problem for many people), but it is superior to GLC at exterior and even interior design, space, luxury ambiance. I don't dislike the old fashion elegance and practicality of the GLE's interior. On the contrary. Differences in technology are little and a matter of taste, I think. And about reliability, they are both modern Mercedes cars, so the reliability it's not their strong point. So I choose the GLE. If not the X5 🙂
Test drove both. GLC drives much much better. In fact GLE drove worse than all the competitors (bmw, Volvo, Audi even Skoda). Felt like driving a van and was more bouncy than a trampoline
Good Video but editing needs a bit more work. There are some jump cuts in there. Also it would be better if you switched to manual focusing, as there is plenty of focus breathing
as if the giggling Lea - who is loved by the community - would be a huge part of the review, it's never that case. Max 2-3 seconds of 20-40 minutes. It's authentic.

I As a GLC 450d owner after 4000km, can say its really best size car for all purpose..!! GLE is like a "oohh i am a big boy" but if I push gas pedal in GLC 450d you understand the difference, agility, monster torque, dynamics are perfect all arround in average 6.5l/100km (no slow driving)
100%. A car around the size of a GLC or slightly larger is perfect for most people, especially considering how many districts are making roads narrower.
Fantastic review as always. Both cars look great from outside but the interior designs are not as good. Especially I personally don’t like the looks of the menus and fonts

Neither. BMW X5 or X3 are the two best in this segment. Reliability, dealer customer service, power, interior quality, design, technology. Every aspect is superior. I own an X5 50e and it is flawless.

Is the GLE reliable? Ive heard a lot of the Benz being unreliable and maintainence very expensive. I was thinking to buy one of these however because of the negative reviews I am hesitant.
It is an interesting comparison, so thank you, and I would rather have the GLC. My real problem is that I absolutely hate the Mercedes interior UI/UX with no real buttons, star ship lighting, and second rate iPad - and BTW I do not want an iPad there anyway. That is sad because all the rest of the engineering is peerless. So if money was no object I just would never buy a Mercedes. Mercedes sub brand Smart just does all this so much better, but without the more sophisticated suspension and all wheel steering, which if fact nobody needs.
Next gen GLE: Overly simplified interior, no physical button, plain gray artificial leather dashboard with no black colour available, strange door handles etc. All the horrible things you see in new GLC and CLE will come to GLE too.
So my question is whats the best used car to buy around 50k euros, i found a5 sportback 35 tfsi and c klas 180. If you have some other car on mind, it has to be most 30000km, and for a family of four?
The GLC is an insult to the compact luxury SUV segment. It looks like a toy sized next to any of it's comparable rivals. The GLC looks like a sub-compact next to the X3 and Q5. GLE on the other hand is a piece of work, alongside the X5 it's got perfect dimensions.
I would take the GLE. The GLC is not an SUV. GLE= more SUV, more space, more knobs, nicer interior ( besides the steering wheel) , more offroad capability
Gle chassis is far superior used in maybach gls600 or gls brabus so u can imagine handling almost 1000nM. Besides road presence of larger car are unmatched.😂
Look how they butchered the glc. No physical buttons, big ipad (like ine the eqe suv) and piano black. Guy who invented the haptic buttons should be fired. Gle adapted that BS in 2024, imo the 2020 model has a much better interior quality. I test drove the new glc and eqe suv and hated them both. The driving position, the mbux and overall quality. Huge step down compared to the previous models. Pay more, get less. Mercedes need to step up their game. No wonder bmw sell more petrol and EVs
Well, on my 24 glc the volume on center appears to be a slider but you can also push - and +. I learned on another video. Also commands to raise or lower
I will take a GLE over a GLC anytime any day. I just picked up a 250 4matic AMG styled GLB over the GLC. The GLC isn’t bad but my next vehicle will be a GLE.

Proud owner of 2023 GLC. Never had a problem. I picked GLC over GLE due to agility and superior cockpit.

Well at the price of the GLC you could get an E-Class and at the GLE price you could get a really nice E-Class. So I vote, E-Class.

Nice review. I agree with you. I prefer the boxier, pretty GLE, minus the animal skin. Luxury motoring way out of my financial league, sadly :(

I don't quite get Autogeful having various presenters. 🤷♂ I like the GLE better as far as exterior looks.
Id take the GLC. I think it’s the perfect size to not feel too big in town. If only I could afford this a new car like that😅

I'd love to go with the GLC and save money over a GLE, but being a big guy the GLC is just a little too tight for me. 🤷🏾♂️

Im averrage 1.05 liter /10km in 450 petrol 7 seater 400hp with 22" 61000 km driven. Mostly in town. Think its good. Longtrip 0.8-0.95😊
