In the set up Etsy section yous didn’t add in what you put in for shipping etc like place of dispatch, postcode, delivery service could someone please help me with this
After the step of designing the product and putting it in Esty .. It was not added to the market, he asked for my place of residence, postal code, phone number, full name and date of birth!

Here's a clearer breakdown to ACTUALLY net a $4 profit:
Selling price: $28.67 (with free shipping for the customer)
T-Shirt Cost: $17.50 ($15.42 is the sale price at the moment)
Shipping Cost: $4
Etsy Fees: $ 3.17
To net $4 with the normal costs of T shirts ($17.50) you would need to sell at $28.67.
To net $4 at the sale price you would need to sell at $26.37.
From what I saw the most expensive Gilden 64000 is the 3XL and that is 15.25.

There isn't a lot of money to be made. but if you have some good designs you can be sure to sell.

I would just like to seek your guidance regarding global shipping.
It seems that Etsy only allows for one country of origine and it uses this, along with the destination address of the consumer, to decide whether to apply local taxes at check-out.
So if the country of origin is set to the USA and a consumer in Canada orders a product, Etsy wouldn't apply GST/HST despite a high probability that the product will be fulfilled in Canada.
What would you advise in order to mitigate any risks pertaining to this?
Regarding fulfilment center locations, I was going to add Valencia, CA like you did in this tutorial but when I went to the Printful Contact page, Valencia, CA was not listed. So, I used Charlotte, NC instead.

I confirmed with Printful support that the Valencia, CA location closed last May
I decided to go with Printful but after creating three t shirt designs and loading them onto my Etsy shop via Printful I find in the sizing drop down box each size has the term 'US Letter' alongside. I have Googled this term and the clue is in the title...it refers to paper sizing! I have contacted both Printful and Etsy about this. Printful blames Etsy as US Letter only shows once the product has been exported to Etsy and it cannot be deleted from Etsy sizing, but Esty say (and it makes total sense) that they have nothing to do with anything that has been exported to their site via Printful and that's why I cannot edit or delete it. I don't think anyone will buy from me as this sizing text is very confusing (btw I am in the UK). What's the work around for this? I am feeling very frustrated after putting in so much work. I wonder if I change to Printify I'll have the same problem with the Etsy sizing saying 'US Letter'...
I came across the same problem last night. I agree, I do not want to show “US Letter” next to my apparel size selection. In the past, I thought it was an option on Etsy side, but I couldn’t find that option anywhere. However, I’m going to recreate this listing starting from Etsy side and go from there. I’ve played around with the Manage Variations section in the past, so I’ll try that again!

Hey! You don't need to have a paid Printful subscription to connect to Etsy-it's free! As for designs that you have on your Etsy store, you'll need to upload them to Printful and place on products you'd like to sell. 😉

When I attempt to connect to Etsy, I don't get the "allow access" option you mention, I just see my regular Esty sign on information page and it asks me to 'Sign in to continue". What might I be missing?
I am having an issue with the tutorial shipping directions. If I offer free shipping in the U.S., do I need to manually adjust it on Etsy for other countries. Everything I see elsewhere gives different prices for other countries, but my etsy says free for eery country meaning I would eat the cost for all these higher prices, correct? And it doesn't automatically add the shipping cost to the retail price either. If the mug was 6.99 and I chose a $5 profit and it says shipping is $6.99, why is it listing from Printful to etsy at $14.99? I would have to manually change the price of profit to $12 dollars to make up for the shipping, correct?

Are the options available for customers to order custom orders for other platforms or only Etsy? For context I would like to draw art and sell it in framed posters. But I would also like to have 1 custom option for customers. Where they could upload images and I would use those as references for custom drawings. Is that possible using other platforms including squarespace or Shopify?
Hey there! Yes, you can sell personalized or customizable products on any ecommerce platform. We have a built-in personalized tool your customer can use with Shopify and Woo Commerce. For other stores, you can set up options to upload an image or send them to you so you can manually edit those orders in Printful.

Hey, Manish! Etsy doesn't support express shipping, unfortunately. However, you may still be able to upgrade the shipping method for some orders if you check the shipping options on your Printful profile after they've has been placed. The express shipping options will show up if they're available.
( 1) LEARNING HAPPENS FASTER with no distractions. Background music is not a necessary part of the learning process. Background music hampers learning and fatigues the learning function of the brain.
(2) REMOVAL OF BACKGROUND MUSIC will allow learning to become more focussed and allow more people to digest the information, thereby increasing the success of Printful and its users.
(3) EASY, SMALL STEPS are best to accelerate learning. Small, easy-to digest-chunks of instruction, with clear, measured diction, with few visual and aural distractions, are the most effective way to learn. Information is implanted into short-term memory with daily repetition for one month. It can then be set into long-term memory by repetion once a week for a month, then once a month for six months.
(4) THIS IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO LEARN.
do we create a listing on Etsy first (after creating a Printful account and linking to the shop) or do we create the Printful stuff first (template and product) and it shows up automatically on the Etsy shop as a draft? I'm a bit confused on the order of things.
Hey! In order to connect Printful to your Etsy store, you need to have at least one listing on Etsy already. When registering with Etsy, you have to create your first listing already, sort of like a mock listing. Don't delete it until you connect Printful to your store. Once that's done, you can start creating and adding products on Printful and delete your mock listing. 🙂

Hello and thank you for all the good information! I have a question; i'm a digital artist and want to sell some of my creations on shirts, mugs, phone cases... Except for ordering myself and being my first custommer, how do I know if the quality of my pictures are good enough to be printed on a product?

What's up, I have learned that no less than 300dpi artwork should be used, anything less will come out blurry. Anything above that will just increase the file size. (Max file size is 200MB.) Also, change your color profile to sRGB IEC61966-2.1 when creating for printing. Once you add your design to printful to create a product (shirt,mug, etc..) you'll be able to see the "print quality" when you're placing your art on an item. ✌🏻Peace
@@ELBONITIYO20 Hey! Thanks a lot for the answer! Yeah thankfully I've taken a habit of always working in 300 ppi. So no problem for that. But I'm not sure for the sRGB as this is only for screen display. Printers work on CMYK so the results will be different is your picture is sRGB. At least I think!
@@dgr.visuals You're Welcome! and that is true but as per Printfuls guidelines. sRGB is better for DTG (Direct To Garment) printing because it has a wider color profile. My image was created a while ago and I believe I used sRGB due to not being familiar with or not knowing how to change it to CYMK. But I used the same image to print out a 4'x4' for a Tshirt chest peice. I have attempted to post a link that can provide you with more/better info regarding the Printful process but TH-cam doesnt allow it.

So i asked my friend to open a account in UK but I can't access that account from Pakistan, they will block that account. Now is it possible that if I linked that account with printify and open printify from Pakistan and publish through Printify?

when setting up a price for a shirt do i need to add the value of the shirt itself plus shipping? for example on printful, a blank shirt costs $23-$26 + shipping 4.99 so when i sell the shirt needs to be like $35 in order to make a profit???

Thanks for this video! I don't offer personalisation on my items. When orders come in for Printful items on Etsy, do I still need to log in to Printful to manage and approve orders? It looks like you need to re-enter the customer's address, too, is that correct? Thanks!

Hey! 😊 When adding the shipping information for the order, we'd need only the end address. So, if the order is for your customer, we'd need only their address. If a customer places an order on your store, the order will automatically import into Printful together with the shipping info.
What is a Mock listing? is it just like a test / default listing to connect to Printful, then you can delete it later as stated?
Hey, Kenny! Yes, that's right. 😊 You will need one active listing in order to connect your Etsy store to Printful, but you can definitely delete the mock listing after the connection has been successfully made.

Hi Michael! So I started adding products to my Etsy and Printful accounts. I'm having an issue...so I downloaded basic mock ups from printful and synched to Etsy and everything looks fine (even the preview of the listing), but when I click on printful stores and click on each listing they all look blurry. What is the reason for this. They do not look like this on Etsy. Any recommendations will be helpful. Thank You!
Could it be possible that some plugins or add-ons are causing this? Maybe you can try it in Private Browsing mode to see if it fixes it. Or you can just try clearing your browser's cache. Hey, Chanuka! You do need a store platform that's connected to Printful to sell Printful products. It doesn't have to be Etsy or Shopify, we have many other integrations that work just as well. You can check them out here ➡️ www.printful.com/integrations
As for your Affiliate link, yes, you can share links to specific products and share them on your social media, in fact, it's suggested you do that as that will help you gain traffic to your store and let you earn commission for every Printful product sold. ✨
what do I have to put as the shipping time and shipping charge on art prints? photography printed? I'm assuming this changes depending on where the customer is located? I'm from Norway, and your warehouses are in US only I'm guessing?
Hey! The average shipping time depends on the destination country, and this info can always be reviewed here - www.printful.com/shipping. And this page includes info on our average fulfillment times for each product category - www.printful.com/recent-updates. Combine both of them to see how much time would it take for the art print to reach the customer. 😊

Printful is a print-on-demand service, which means that they handle the printing and shipping of products as soon as an order is placed on your store. The process is fully automated, so you don't have to "initiate" the shipping process. As soon as an order is placed, Printful takes care of printing, packaging and shipping the product directly to your customer. You simply manage your store and receive the profits from the sales. This allows you to focus on marketing and promoting your store, while leaving the fulfillment process to Printful.

Hey :) For the first product required to set up shop, before you connect to Printful, you need to fill out all of the listing information. Once you click your store to Printful and use the add button, it automatically fills out the listing information as you add new products from Printful; however, the information about production partners needs to be filled out for every product added automatically.

What if my shirts are already on etsy?
Hi, thanks for this tutorial. I just made my first Etsy sale (tshirt) and I received the full sale amount via PayPal from customer. I already have a credit card on file with Printful so does Printful just automatically deduct their cut (production and shipping) of the shirt from my bank account? Second question might pertain to Etsy instead but Im curious about the tax that was collected by Etsy on the sale. It looks like the tax amount was added to the total amount that I received in PayPal from the customer. Is it possible to have Etsy collect the tax instead so I don't have to worry about it? Thanks!
Hi! 😊 Congrats on the first sale! 🎉 When an order is placed on your storefront, there are two different transactions happening. One between you and your customer, and the other one between you and Printful. The difference between these two transactions would be your profit. We'd simply charge the necessary amount for fulfillment and shipping!

I believe as the owner of the business you collect the tax and you pay it back when taxes are due.

@@deem6930 Not necessarily true. Etsy as a platform collects and remits tax on your behalf in nearly all cases. You might have special instructions depending on where your customer is based (for example, when I ship to the UK, I need to include Etsy's VAT number somewhere on the parcel).
Hello, I've got an etsy store where I just sell products in the UK. If I add printiful as a product partner will it allow the product to be bought globally and would there be any additional shipping fees Selling overseas? TIA Greg
Hi, Greg! The shipping prices and speeds depend on what is ordered and where is the order shipped to. This info can be found here - www.printful.com/shipping. We can ship almost worldwide. 😊
12:31 “add necessary shipping and click on pay”?? Does the customer provide their shipping address that I have to put in then? And who’s paying for it, me or the customer when I press pay??
The shipping address and other information that the customer provides during checkout is automatically sent over to Printful and then we start the fulfillment process. However, if your store or products aren't synced to your Printful account, you'll have to enter this information manually.
Regarding the shipping fees, we will charge you for fulfillment and shipping fees for the order. However, you can charge your customer for shipping fees separately or include the shipping costs in your retail price set in your store.
Trying to connect my Printful to Etsy, but when I go to my dashboard, I don't find 'stores'. Suggestions?
Do we pay personally for orders or do we pay with the customers money once they put an order through our Etsy store?
When a customer places an order on your store, that money gets paid to you through a payment gateway we don’t have access to. Since we don’t have access to that payment from your customers, we charge you the cost as orders come through to our system. However, you can enable manual order approval, if you want to wait for the fund from the order to reach you and approve the order only once you've received your profit. 🙂
Hi, I went on free shipping and the price for a specific price for the USA (3.59usd) was stated. So I have changed to worldwide and the shipping changed to 10.59.
You have facilities all over the world, right? Is the 10,59€ the worst case or does no shipping within US also cost 10.59usd just because I have changed to "worldwide"?
Hey, there! That's correct, we have fulfillment facilities Worldwide. It would be important to check shipping rates for each region you're planning on selling in. Then you can compare your shipping profile on your store platform and make sure that you'll be able to cover highest shipping rate since you're offering free shipping. However, Printful's shipping rates are up to date and should already have this information included. You can also adjust your shipping profile for each selling region. Also Etsy said they charge a fee cuz they handle shipping but so does Printful so who does the shipping? Also, how does printful handle returns? Well custom named shirts for example can’t be returned but normal slogan like “positive vibes” can be returned but I don’t wanna deal with it soooo how does it work?
Shipping is being handled by Printful. Once an order has been fulfilled, we pass it on to the shipping carrier. As for returns, Printful doesn't accept returns unless the product in question was of insufficient quality, got lost while in transit, or other issues that might affected the order. And even then, you'll be offered a refund or a reshipment without having to send the item back to Printful. However, it's up to you how you want to handle returns from your customers. So this may sound dumb, but when i make a sale do i need to then order it off of printful to the customer's address? or does it automatically do that for me and then i claim the profits from printful?

Hi there, I urgently need your help. I have been using copy listing in Etsy to speed up listings for A/B testing. Good news, I just got a sale for one of the versions only in Esty. Can you please tell me, ASAP, how to place the order in Printful? I can see the original product in Printful but I can't see how I can use it to place the order made in Esty. It's going to Australia, so is there anything I need to do so it is processed there? I have searched on Printful and TH-cam but can't find out how to do it. Thank you for your help. Kind regards 🙂

When connecting your Etsy store to Printful, you should have the automatic fulfillment enabled. The order will show up in your ''Orders'' section on your Printful Dashboard. If the order isn't showing up there, then it might mean that automatic is disabled or there are sync issues with your listing. In this case, please contact our Customer Support team so they can assist you resolving this. The email is support@printful.com.
I don't see the production partner option when setting up my store. I'm not making these designs i'm using free images (very cool stuff) NON copyrighted by law and want printful to create the poster wall art/decor etc. How can I connect them if i'm not making the designs myself? Bummer if not.. Under about the listing I had to select 'another co. or person'
Hey, Kenny! You need to create a Printful account and then upload your images onto the products you want to sell. Then you need to push the products to your Etsy store. Once you've created the Etsy store, you should be able to add a new production partner when creating your first listing. Which printful fulfilment centre location would one add if we are in Africa? And if you've chosen a US location and someone in Europe purchases, will the item be fulfilled by the specified US location, or whichever fulfillment centre is closest to the customer?
You can choose our fulfillment location based on the region you'd like to focus on more. If it's the US, you can use our US address, if it's EU, then you can use our Latvian address. Whichever location you choose won't affect product fulfillment location - if you use US address, but get an order from the EU, the order will be fulfilled in the EU (if the ordered product is available there). 🙂

Do I have to form an llc if I sell stickers, shirts and notebooks?? I already got a separate llc for something else that I wanna build so setting a second llc just for Etsy sounds like a pain. If I just do sole proprietorship and don’t apply for a business (and just sell), can I make as much money as I can as one??

I connected Printful to my Etsy store. I am having trouble with my shirt design not carrying over to the Details page. This is the path I am using (Add Product-from my store, My Product Templates, choose Shirt with template, Proceed to Mockups, Basic Mockups, Proceed to details). No matter what product i choose, the design disappears when I get to the Details page. I have emailed Printful but have not received an answer yet. I appreciate any help!

We'll automatically route it to the facility that can fulfill your order the most efficiently. If it's a product that can be fulfilled in the US only, it will be shipped from the US. If the delivery address is in the UK and the product can be fulfilled in the UK as well, the product most likely will be fulfilled and shipped locally. Certain states require marketplaces to charge and remit sales taxes for their users. In these cases, we won't charge you tax, and you don't have to charge your customers tax, as it only has to be collected by the marketplace for that state. Etsy is one of those marketplaces. In states where your marketplace does not charge sales tax, we will apply sales tax on the order. 🙂
Hello. I'm struggling with my sales on Etsy. I think I do have beautiful designs but I just had one sale so far. And I decreased my marge to the lowest point to have my first sales and I had to pay out of my pocket because of the Etsy fees. But it's ok I learned from that. But I think the retail prices are pretty high at the end. Would anybody pay more than $40 for a polyester crop top? Any tips? Thanks. :)

Hey! We automatically push our shipping rates to Etsy unless you've selected free shipping when pushing the product to your store. 😊 The default shipping prices can always be adjusted later. The product price does not include the shipping price, so you'd have to consider the shipping costs too when coming up with your pricing.

Can someone please tell me what type of media print for users to print your image. Is it heat transfer vinyl, or is it direct to garment, sublimation, I don't understand. Are you limited to certain color combinations? Does the price increase per color added?
Hey, Barbra! We use DTG (direct-to-garment) and also sublimation when the customer chooses an all-over print item. 😊 You can choose as many colors you'd like! The price depends on the number of placements used instead of the number of colors you've picked.

Hey! You don't need to enter the weight and size as Printful will take care of shipping for you. We automatically import flat rates to Etsy (USA domestic shipping only) but feel free to edit them and offer free shipping.
But, how do you add in a branded logo to the inside of the Tee’s you already have listed on Etsy?
Hey! You'll need to head to your Printful Dashboard and find the listing you want to add an Inside label for. Then select ''Edit''. That will take you to our Design Maker where you can add the Inside label. Once you're done, save your changes and click ''Refresh data'' on top of your page, then changes made on Printful will be pushed to your store. Im sure you already have your answer by now but just in case, Etsy bills every three months. .20 cents per item. BONUS rather than adding a red, blue, green, yellow, black shirt turn that into an options. Its like 5 listings for the price of one. :)
