I have the Sigma 14-24mm and it preform similar to this lens

There’s quite a bit of difference between the two lenses. The sigma isn’t as sharp corner to corner through the aperture range, it doesn’t manage distortion as well, it doesn’t control flaring as well, it doesn’t control chromatic aberration as well, it won’t be able to stabilize as well, and doesn’t have focus breathing compensation. It’s also a lot heavier and can’t use screw on filters. So it’s a big difference between the two lenses. I don’t say that to say the sigma sucks because it’s still a good lens and if it does what you need it to do, that’s all that matters but they don’t perform the same way
