    Detailing car glass is by far one of the most frustrating things about the detailing process. You can perfect everything else, yet the entire job can feel LESS THAN because of the nature of the glass. The problem is, this is NOT always your fault.
    In this video we break down the nature of car glass, why the damage naturally occurs, and what you can do about it without spending much time trying to fix something that won't be fixed. Customers sometimes confuse DAMAGE with a detailing issue that you as the detailer over looked, or did not do well. This can be detrimental to your business for a number of reasons.
    There are times when professional detailers need SIMPLE and INEXPENSIVE products that will fix damaged glass quickly, and in all different environments. The product we talk about here "Stoner Windshield Polish" is a chemical that will fix damaged glass in no time in the shade, sun, garage, street, and anywhere else you want to apply it! It's versatility, effectiveness, and price make it a product that I don't go anywhere without. It is a staple for the mobile detailer.

    Maybe to use 0000 Steel Wool when applying it . Also , I would use Mothers Aluminum and chrome polish in the jar .

    Love Stoner IG and the reach tool. Is there no need to mask trim w/ these products? Last thing I want is to start cleaning window trim from a product/products that stain them.

    Hey man, you mentioned in a video a wheel cleaner you've started using that you barely have to wipe them off. What product was it? The video wasnt actually about wheel cleaner and I cant remember which video it was in. I really need a cleaner like that for car lot work.

    Detailing in the Arizona sun is killing me! I detailed my own car the other day just to clean it from sitting in the driveway collecting a ton of dust. So any tips you have on detailing in the heat/sun. I’m definitely interested!

    • @cheferman65
      @cheferman65 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Get up earlier! Find a carport or time your detailing earlier or later in the evening. You're killing yourself and chasing your products in the sun.

    • @Tiffany.Detailer
      @Tiffany.Detailer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cheferman65 yeah the sun is killer, but even in the middle of the night or 5AM It’s still above 100° outside in the summer. So no matter what it’s going to be hot for awhile, until the winter, then it’ll be a nice 70 degrees lol. It’s just the summer months that are rough. You can literally bake cookies in a car in the summer here. If I could detail at night I would! The only option is shade, but that’s hard to do when you’re in a driveway, plus at 117° that’s just more work to set up and take down something that provides shade. Just gotta get through the next 5 months and it’ll be great! I’d love to be able to build a detail garage one day!

    1. Is any clay good for clay barring? I have chemical guys original.
    2. I vape so I get that vaper’s film. I’ve tried griots foam, McGuire’s, and chemical guys glass and that film seems like it never goes away inside.

      To blow the water out of the cracks that a towel doesn't get to. Also any time you touch the paint it induces scratches (no matter how small) so maybe he's trying to avoid wiping a towel across freshly clean and protected paint.
