Bro I had no idea you lost a friend but when you said you “can’t bring Josh back “ it hit me hard.
Lost my best friend this time of year 4 years ago and his name was Josh also.
I feel your loss man he was my brother from another mother. Had to pause the video and ponder life for a bit.
    Stay rad 🤙🏽

Nice work, Brian! The dirt at Rockville is so nice right now. Those go arounds are out of control though. Blocked a few ugly ones yesterday.
PSA: if ya can't ride it, there's no shame in walking it. There's always next time. Don't change the trail forever to dumb it down because no matter how nasty a section looks, there's always someone who can ride and enjoy it in its original state.

"We can worry about the future, we can worry about the past, but really all we have is right this second... and when you're on a bike, it's a lot easier to connect with that". Well said Brian! I watched every video in your 50 State Shred! It was very cool watching your journey throughout the year. Cheers!

With the wobbly go pro thing, put the mount that clicks into the chesty in from the top not from the bottom. Then go into your GoPro settings and then go into Touch Display, then turn on landscape lock and put it into the Down setting. This stops your footage from coming out upside down if the angle is steep. Then after that then just set the GoPro to the angle that you like! Hope that helps.

  • @BikeShapedObjects
    @BikeShapedObjects 4 ปีที่แล้ว +28

The footage looks and sounds great with the Hero 9 setup. I actually said "holy crap that's steep" on one section and I've never said that before watching a GoPro video. I think there's something to be said for that. Awesome work with the 50 State Shred! Loved every minute.

I am proud to say that me and my Bronson have seen many miles of trails from the motivation I get on watching your journey. I haven’t commented much, but I have been a loyal fan of the 50SS and wanted to join the chorus of those that have spent hours upon enjoyable hours following your travels this year. You really opened my eyes to trails I didn’t know of and states that I frankly scoffed at out of ignorance. Great mountain biking can be had all across our great country-thanks for bringing us along.

Watching on the TV, I look aside for a sec and then the downhill started and it's crazy how different this is! I think it's the first time I saw a video and could actually see the difference in grades. Usually everything looks flat and then you're confused why you hear the wheels skidding and only then understand you see a downhill part.
    Huge improvement

Just grab a drink, sit in your shop, and ramble about some of your favorite (and least favorite) moments of the trip. Most surprising trail? Brian, welcome back cause there's "No Place Like Home" not to mention being able to have a double double @ In & Out! Thanks for sharing your 50 State shred my man. Best to you in 2021 and if you ever get to PHX and I am not flying; I would enjoy a ride with you and always welcome to crash at our Hacienda. Blue skies in 2021. Be well, Jg

The new GoPro setup is crazy! This takes your videos to a whole new level!
Always digging the content- 50 state shred was sick.

Your audio is great. And the footage is awesome. You could really see how rough the ride is in your bike frame. It don't get fuzzy, you really see how it bumps around. Keep this setup.
Your 50shred have been wonderful. My dream plan is come visit US and pick the best places from your map and followe your path.

I'm not going to pretend that I watched every episode, but I did watch most of them. This one was definitely needed for closure haha. At times they felt like a mtb video, and at times they were kinda like a therapy session, in a good way. Thank you for all of the hard work, and thank you goes to your sponsors/patrons for giving you the ability to do this.👏👏🙏

Great job Brian! I really enjoyed watching all these videos. Seeing all your different adventures and what other states had to offer was very inspiring to me. Maybe I'll see you on the trail.

It sure was a crazy year, Brian, and your videos provided me with a much-needed sense of normalcy, an escape from the insanity going on around me. I ended the year by having my left hip replaced, and will start 2021 restricted to stationary and road biking, so once again I'll count on your channel to let me live vicariously through you. At least until Feb-March, when I should be cleared hot on the trails again. So keep the content coming, love the people you love, and enjoy the holidays, man. You deserve it. P.S. Just ordered your newest jersey off WWC. Can't wait to put it to the test.
