@@jasperatymrochwite7275 no, get up north, actual up north. Spend time in the nicolet National forest and the Chequamegon. Yes, WI is a lot of farmland. But that is mostly central/southern WI. Northern WI has such woods, lakes, and rivers. Check out Vilas and Forest counties especially, oh and it never hurts to see the Superior/Bayfield area. Born and raised here, I absolutely love the wilderness of WI. For whatever reason though, I have never ventured the drift less area (maybe as a child with parents, but don't remember). I am a green bay native however so that might be a part of it.
Woohoo! La Crosse! I grew up there, my folks still live there. I’ve tried to go back riding at Hixon a couple of times but every time it’s rained a day or two before and the trails were a mess. Haven’t been back this year because of COVID...time to stop making excuses and get after it! Lol
Now that I'm back at work im on night shift so after i shower i get to catch your just recently uploaded video and its great to watch because then i lay down and daydream about riding until i fall asleep. Thanks brian! Also these trails are prolly my favorite of the 50 state shred so far. Thanks for all you do.
Nice work Brian, Josh and Josh! Love the commentary you wrapped into this edit. Sad I was out of town but thrilled with the way it turned out. This will add invaluable exposure to our area, thank you! Have fun in Alaska, catch you on the trails someday!
Just got into mountain biking at age 34. Was a flatland/street bmx kid from Wisco. Just yesterday hit up 2 miles of trails in west bend and my legs are sore but these trails are more of what I'm looking for. I like jumping but will need to grow back into it. Took me a lil bit because the size difference of a mountain bike to a short flatland bike feel but can but can bump jump the curb 1.5 feet easily. Like riding a bike ha! Bought a affordable trail hardtail and have already upgraded just about everything you need to ride harder trails like this. Marzocchi BOMBER fork, dropper post better wheels, grips pedals, headset. This will definitely be a new stop in the upcoming weekends. Thanks for showcasing my state. It's awesome to see a new chapter of biking gain in popularity.
This trail is awesome and is/was relatively unknown around the region. I only got one run in on that downhill before it rained. So fun! Glad to see these guys getting their kudos. They are doing awesome work down there!
These are some of my local trails! You should also try Lowes Creek in Eau Claire, or Levi’s Mounds near Neilsville. I prefer them two over La Crosse, but La Crosse is good as well.
Being 2 hours from the trail head I've ridden here a few times recently, and am heading back later this week. Great mix of old and new style trails . Good to see you enjoy a fairly local trail to me as I've been enjoying your videos for a while now. If your in NE Iowa and want to get lost on awesome trails you should check out Decorah. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you chose La Crosse as your destination! I've been riding there since the early 2000's too, and it's awesome to see all of the hard work that they have put into it. That new section looks freaking sweet, can't wait to ride it! I got a kick out of the section at 10:58ish, whenever I ride through there I laugh at the fact that the handlebars keep getting wider, but the trees stay in the same place! A great mix of old school hand built singletrack, and modern machine built trails.
Hey man you probably won’t see this but that is where I go mountain biking with my aunt and uncle all the time and my uncle is such a shredder. That is so cool that you went there out of all the places in Wisconsin
Who'd have thought that Wisconsin would have a sick trail system like that? That was super fun to watch, so I can't imagine how fund it was to ride. Keep chugging, Brian! You'll get your 50 state shred easily! (Or at least 48...)
Another great one Brian. Tickin em off! Thanks for taking the time to inform us of the history of the area and the trails, it really adds context and appreciation. Really enjoying the tour! May the Shred be with you! - Chris
I'm proud to be from La Crosse, I return for a portion of the year there every year and it's been amazing to see these trails become more and more legit. Being able to hit these systems from my doorstep is incredible and I can already see mountain biking improving the local community.
Being from the Philippines, driving the whole US has always been on my bucket list. Seeing the 50 state shred, I guess riding most, if not all the trails Brian's been to should be added in the bucket list.
I was thinking that looks a lot like Bentonville and then to hear that Rock Solid did the work I see why. If they're involved expect some stunning trails to come of it.
10:51 Just flipped on that rock last week even though I have been over it a gazzilion times. That is my favorite section in winter or anytime. Great video as always.
Wisconsinite who moved out to the PNW here. It always blows my mind how much fun Wisconsin trails are even when I'm spoiled by riding all around Washington. Ride On!
Great attitude, great riding, excellent footage and a positive message that we need to hear more of. Awesome stuff and thanks for putting this up. Cheers from Sydney, Aust - Dave
So stoked to hear you commenting on how each region (even microregion!) has its own unique character, Brian. There is so much beauty to be found out there if we just get out, keep our eyes open and our minds wondrous. Great video man, can't wait for you to introduce me to the shred of my own western Iowa!
Nice to see my home town trails on your channel. Ill take credit since i emailed you about these. Lol.. man i hope you had good time in LaCrosse awesome town and has trails right in middle of it basically. Made me home since. Haven't been in few years and last time was home rained had destroyed large portions of the trails. Love it man.
Awesome Brian! I am glad to see WI on the map! Reminds me that I need to rent or bring a bike when I go back home to visit Southeast Wisconsin (where I started riding too).
Zueg's is so Rad - Rode it a hand full of times this past weekend - so jealous of all the granite you have in the U.P. and how you can take full advantage of it in Marquette!
I totally agree about the football/baseball stuff. Millions get spent on those complexes, but they're not accessible for the overwhelming majority of people, whereas trails are accessible to many many more, especially if there are hiking trails in the park as well.
Thanks for the video. Wisconsin has a lot of good trails but didn't know about these. Looking forward to checking them out and they're only 1.5 hours from The Dells (popular family vacation destination)
Brian and the ethernal hunt for animal spotting hahah! Last monday I bumped into a snake and some monkeys here in Brazil. Come here and we'll introduce you to some nature! haha cheers!
Thanks for choosing LaCrosse; it has the richest, most authentic mountain biking culture/history in Wisconsin. Something that recent trends in MTBing/Trail building haven't really embodied. We keep it pure in Wisconsin!
i wish i had as much variety and quality of trails as in the US . Here in Malta most of the time it is like. "Here's a rock garden, you dont want it then here's a techy climb with secret ingredient, ROCKS! The only thing you need is rocks, if you dont like it then too bad" then we have a bit of dirt. But 60-70% of the time it is rock garden after rock garden
Wisconsin is a lot more beautiful and awesome than people expect. Glad you're getting out there and getting after it.
Zach Breider agreed, though it’s pretty hard to build trails there, I have experience, because of all the plants and vegition there
Depends where you are lol next to the kettle moraine is just farmland

This looks like the best trail system you’ve ridden yet IMO!
Agree, by far.
Wow, what a trail
Would like to see a ranked list
I fucking live there!!
I was about to say this. Haha
Thank goodness for rain for washing skin off trees... especially those two at 10:58.
Glad you rode and enjoyed the Hixon and Bluff trails in my home of La Crosse!!!!!
those are some nice lookin trails!
good jab, wiscansin!
Awesome riding with you Brian. Hope to ride with you again someday. Keep that adventure going!
You need to come back to Wisconsin and ride Little Switzerland 🇨🇭
Little switz has some of the best flow in southern WI this season

So I tried to get there a week ago and this time I made it halfway there and then had a car accident. 🙄 posted a video about it today.
Didn't think I'd get teary watching a mountain bike video today. I knew my home from the first frame. Little homesick right now.
to think I recently left La Crosse because I was getting bored. Luckily I am still close in Eau Claire, WI. The trails are great around here as well !
Come to Minnesota!!! Twin cities! We got lots of trails!!
Rode here 3 days after this vid came out and it was amazing
Always a good morning when you upload my guy
What's with everyone saying "my guy" now?
That place looks beautiful!! Good future times!!
Looks like Wisconsin will be giving Arkansa some competition in beauty and fun trails.

That's what it's all about dude!
Awesome. I'm from La Crosse was one of those riding in those woods in the '80s.
Nice work Brian, Josh and Josh! Love the commentary you wrapped into this edit. Sad I was out of town but thrilled with the way it turned out. This will add invaluable exposure to our area, thank you! Have fun in Alaska, catch you on the trails someday!
Thanks for making it all come together Jared!
Sweet trail! I'm only two hours away. MTBike bucket-list trail for sure!

Crying shame he didn’t drop off in Madison. Quarry ridge and Blackhawk are really worth the visit.
Wi resident here, glad to see you went to LaCrosse. Been up there twice this summer. Nice trail system would love it if it was closer(3 to 4hrs) away.
Wow super impressed with those trails. Great find!
This is crazy seeing you ride here because this is my home trails and I ride with josh a lot🤯

You should watch some video of whitetail in River Falls too. Another great system with very surprising features
@@SecretRaccoon I'll look it up! Thanks!
I live in lacrosse, awesome to see you ride here!
lived in Sun Prairie WI about 18 years ago...things have improved greatly on the trail front in WI apparently...
Actually the whole upper Midwest has some amazing riding. Its can be surprising for those that think of MI, MN & WI as "flyover country".

Dreads and Dirt MTB Rock Solid has done a lot of stuff here in Wisconsin. It doesn’t seem like there’s much here, but there’s plenty to ride.
That's funny I was just about to comment that this looks alot like Arkansas haha. The terrain and views are also similar.
Thanks for showcasing our awesome trail network! It’s only going to get better!

So cool seeing mtb you tubers riding my local trails
That trail is 10 minutes from my house. It’s an amazing trail. Glad you came and enjoyed it.
my home trails!
These guys put in alot of hard work to make it happen.
I’m lucky to have these trails 5 min away💪💪
LUCKY, I have a few hour drive to get there, I can't wait to finally try this trail
That's my area, awesome to see you come out and ride these trails and thanks for the sneak peak of the new stuff!
Another great video - one of the best trail systems of the series for me - loved the rock berms on Vader !! Awesome place 😁
Brian sending some of those jumps very smoothly. I know he’s not a big jump guy but he was sending some of that! Super fun looking trails !
That looked like a whole lotta fun...great view at 11:38. Awesome to see such a community effort.
Man I’m gonna go back and watch all these 50s state shred videos and start planning vacations :-)

This is by far the nices trail you have been in riding my opinion. Would love to have a go on that. But a bit far away from Denmark, Europe.

Garrett Dunnam : yeah, I’m wondering how those flow trials will fare against the torrential rainstorms la crosse gets every few years.
You need to hit the CAMBA trails up in Hayward and Cable area. You really sound like you had a blast in this video !
I got to ride Flow Mama this summer, definitely and awesome trail system.
loving the 50 state shred, going to be sad when it's over :(
This has to be one of the overall best looking trails or trail sets so far. Especially that at 13:00 mark.
Make sure to hit up camrock some fun xc trails/jump tracks down here in southern wisco.
True you guys do have some good trails I always love the WORS race there
