Having the truth does give you something to respect & a clear understanding that you need to move on but Josh is right that not providing "closure" makes it easier for ghosters to come back while you're still busy wondering what even happened. They often think they should forever be able to have access to a woman if they have "unlocked" her once. Honestly, I prefer the guy to inform me about the reason why he decided to talk to me beforehand. Realistically, telling a girl about what you are planning to do with her will help her and you at the end. You will know if she actually wants to beep beep with you or not, and you don't have to run into the "crazy" types who will question your movements. For the girl, she is able to know what type of guy she has run into and doesn't have to waste her time with a bum. My bf always complained I wouldn't listen even though I genuinely thought I was. I realized at one point that what was preventing me from truly listening to and accepting things he would express to me was that if he had an issue with anything, I immediately was taking it all personally instead of as it was at face value. I was subconsciously/mentally inserting my own feelings into each of his sentences and attempting to figure out what his words implicated about his feelings towards me andd not only that but thenn I would subsequently try to defend myself over why he shouldn't feel that way about me, even when those words didnt mention meee at all! So it was somehow like I almost was listening just to find a relevance of his words pertaining to myself so I could argue why he's feeling negatively about me ...instead of simply hearing out his piece, digesting it and letting him know his voice had been understood. I had to wake up to the fact that his feelings are about him, not me; so, he can say he doesnt like something without it suddenly meaning he doesnt like ME...but if all I ever do when he presents me with a topic of concern was worry about what it means for my own feelings and therefore punish his honest communication by arguing my own worth to him, then just maybe then he would really actually legitimately not like me ...because that was such toxic behavior and the opposite of what I thought I was doing but I could not recognize what was ever happening no matter how much he said it since it was all subconscious and probably out of some unhealed trauma/insecurity that became blinding. We often act out of fears instead of love, especially when you're just learning how to build relationships with someone and dont have solid good godly guidance and mentorship, let alone a firm foundation of where you're at in your own individual journey. The younger you are, the more easily frustrations get taken out of context and dumped on those closest to you without you realizing how selfish and self-absorbed you are being and how much they truly love you... even/especially in cases where they may be the one who caused some past hurt themselves but have now been treating you like you deserve. All people have feelings and both should be able to have theirs safe with the other. One-sided doesnt work in communication. I'm not succeeding in love if I can vent but have led him to keep certain things to himself for fear of bringing me down and starting drama. Honestly, I prefer the guy to inform me about the reason why he decided to talk to me beforehand. Realistically, telling a girl about what you are planning to do with her will help her and you at the end. You will know if she actually wants to beep beep with you or not, and you don't have to run into the "crazy" types who will question your movements. For the girl, she is able to know what type of guy she has run into and doesn't have to waste her time with a bum. I'm just saying because there are guys who will say "well if I did tell you females about what I am going to do to you, you wanna get upset with us." And they don't get the whole concept. My bf always complained I wouldn't listen even though I genuinely thought I was. I realized at one point that what was preventing me from truly listening to and accepting things he would express to me was that if he had an issue with anything, I immediately was taking it all personally instead of as it was at face value.
I was subconsciously/mentally inserting my own feelings into each of his sentences and attempting to figure out what his words implicated about his feelings towards me andd not only that but thenn I would subsequently try to defend myself over why he shouldn't feel that way about me, even when those words didnt mention meee at all!
So it was somehow like I almost was listening just to find a relevance of his words pertaining to myself so I could argue why he's feeling negatively about me ...instead of simply hearing out his piece, digesting it and letting him know his voice had been understood. I had to wake up to the fact that his feelings are about him, not me; so, he can say he doesnt like something without it suddenly meaning he doesnt like ME...but if all I ever do when he presents me with a topic of concern was worry about what it means for my own feelings and therefore punish his honest communication by arguing my own worth to him, then just maybe then he would really actually legitimately not like me ...because that was such toxic behavior and the opposite of what I thought I was doing but I could not recognize what was ever happening no matter how much he said it since it was all subconscious and probably out of some unhealed trauma/insecurity that became blinding.
We often act out of fears instead of love, especially when you're just learning how to build relationships with someone and dont have solid good godly guidance and mentorship, let alone a firm foundation of where you're at in your own individual journey. The younger you are, the more easily frustrations get taken out of context and dumped on those closest to you without you realizing how selfish and self-absorbed you are being and how much they truly love you... even/especially in cases where they may be the one who caused some past hurt themselves but have now been treating you like you deserve. All people have feelings and both should be able to have theirs safe with the other. One-sided doesnt work in communication. I'm not succeeding in love if I can vent but have led him to keep certain things to himself for fear of bringing me down and starting drama.
Understand that dating is not a game it is a battlefield that we all could use better directions on lol tread carefully yall ❤

I think many women in my age group 18-25 have experienced ghosting. And have so much trauma from it that we get to a point where we become numb to it and normalise it or we get fed up and break things off. I know many would prefer to just be told the truth so that our energy that can be used elsewhere, that is more deserving of our time. Tell the truth always so no one is blindsided.

Personally, I would always prefer if a guy is honest about his intentions from the jump. I would also want to know why someone ghosted me, I've actually had guys apologise to me months later after ghosting me and they were upset about doing it. It just showed me that Ghosting is a quick action for a lifetime of guilt until you explain yourself. It's not nice to be left in the dark mid-conversation.
