It's kinda ironic how Twi Lek are often looked down upon but are almost always the "pleasures" in each star wars era that you see. Old Republic, The Republic, Empire and even afterwards. They must be found beautiful since it's always the case with them

I was writing a fanfic a few years ago, I thought about putting in a throw away line about a Moff or governor with a harem of twi'lek dancing girls, I didn't realise it was actually a thing
On Archive of Our Own I have a fanfic showing the Punisher from the Marvel Cinematic Universe being connected to Saw Gerrera and Director Krennic. I thought about writing a scene where the Punisher spend his early years in the Imperial military on Ryloth under Moff Mors and Colonel Belkor Dray before becoming the Punisher but cut out the scene due to it disrupting the pacing of the story. I'll probably include that detail as a fun throwaway line somewhere in the story.

I think a few
Moff Panaka of Naboo was noted for being pretty reasonable and capable of doing the right thing, to the point of Bail Organa considering him a potential ally of the forming Rebel Alliance.
Eh, you just don't become a Moff by being a good person. You HAVE to pull people down to climb the ranks in the Empire, that's by design from Palpatine so nobody ever gets too big to challenge hkim.

This might be the first video that actually mentions the death of her wife and her depression. Most omit this and it makes her seem lazy and gluttonous just because it’s her personality. I actually feel bad for her a little bit. It’s tough losing a loved one.

I don't think they did. And there was at least a male Twi'lek serving them when she did have a meeting with a Hutt early in the book.

-Empire is open to same sex marriage, pretty unexpected as it doesn't seem like a state that would tolerate this
-It was hidden one like Padme and Anakin

Probably the first as in Star Wars superficial things within a species is no where near as important as the species itself. Essentially no one cares of you’re sexuality or skin color they care that you’re human. That’s just my thought process
It's authorized in the Empire, at least in canon. It's not the sole lesbian officier we know of in the Empire
If I'm remembering correctly her imperial colleagues give her condolences openly for her. In the real world we associate oppressive authoritarian regimes with traditional values. But the traditional values on earth aren't necessarily the same in a galaxy far far away
From my knowledge, the Empire had no issue with same sex marriage, but did encourage for heterosexual family units among Humans, primarily to increase Human birthrates.
Thanks for the answers folks, it's then the same situation as human on human racism. It is something absent from Empire too, no matter the race any human can rise to the top.

Knowing Palpatine, I sincerely doubt that he would ever be so understanding and merciful as to grant another chance to a low level bureaucrat. Especially since he and Vader have been known to replace them like socks for the slightest failures. Given how incompetent this governor was, I expected Palpatine to have her eaten by space piranhas. Disney's canon is a mess to say the least.
Very. Especially with the inconsistency of behavioral factors.
I think Palpatine not offing Mors is for a few reasons.
1. When it comes to incompetent Moffs and Senators Palpatine tends to give them a bit more leeway than you might think so long as they are actually loyal.
2. Mors was also a huge reason Cham Syndulla and his Imperial collaborator, Belcor, failed that day which proves that once she gets off her ass she is actually good at her job.
3. The justification that Palpatine gives which is that this whole debacle is probably a suitable wakeup call for Mors, as someone who has actually read this book I can confirm that Palpatine is right on that front.
4. And finally this is still early in the Empires reign, Palpatine probably doesn't have the authority needed to just get rid of Moffs whenever he wants quite yet, this is back when the Senate of all things could still overule Palpatines decisions. Yes if he put in a little effort getting rid of Mors wouldn't be too hard but doing so after her work ethic was reinvigorated as well as all the technical and legal outs she gathered throughout the story thanks to most of the Ryloth fiasco being on Belcors head it simply wouldn't be worth going through the trouble of finding a new Moff.

Just a word from Palpatine, your life is simply over and a living hell, he can easily accuse you of anything, and you are right.

Palpatine actually liked the moffs and high-ranking Imperial Officers. He complains a lot about Vader casually choking them to death.
The attempted assassination actually made Palps look good and was a pretense for a lot of crackdowns, mors is also the reason it was “attempted” and not “successful”. Killing moffs is a Vader thing anyways
Legends Palpatine would never give her a second chance. She’s be dead on the spot, either by his hand, Vader’s, or a trooper’s.

All moff did was creating a perfect place for the rebels to lay low in do to how relax the planets imperial rule is and since the twi’lek’s are the one’s maintaining order on the planet, a lot of them would look the other way due to most of them likely not being fully loyal to the empire.🤔🐱

Well, I would say many imperials don't hate them. It's mostly the elite and highest ranking ones. For example, stormtroopers didn't go around terrorising random aliens. They enforced order with iron fists, but didn't limit it to certain species.

taking in consideration that the number two of the EMpire is Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, it seem that the moff still had a better coping mechanism.

I would like share my fan fic theory of a storyline for the supposed BOBF season 2.
Femi Taylor returns to star wars portraying Oola’s sister Nolaa Tarkona as a vengeful freedom fighter who learns of Boba killing Bib Fortuna, the guy that kidnapped her sister and made a slave to Jabba, and she swears allegiance to Boba joining his army as he fights against the Hutt twins and frees all those enslaved by him. Femi Taylor still looks great and beautiful as ever, and I would love to watch a sorta redemption story for poor Oola.
When you've been in this business as long as I have, you learn a few things: Nothing's more dangerous than arguing with a Wookiee, nothing's more foolish than gambling with a Jedi, and nothing's more alluring than a Twi'lek dancer. But I'm here to tell you that last one is wrong. If you like your humanoids flexible, svelte, enthusiastic, and in multiple shades of red, then the most beautiful people in the galaxy are on Zeltros. Who needs Twi'leks?

In the beginning when Vader boarded the transport that the Twi'lek resistance stole was really terrifying and awsome. And at the end when the other ship is hearing the fight and the only hear Vaders breathing was shilling.

I would think that taste would change overtime and owning a Zeltron or Hapan display slave would probably show more prestige than a Tweilik slave but being on Ryloth that’s the only option she could probably have access and afford.

I don’t understand why emperor Palpatine gave her a second chance instead of just letting her be executed by Darth Vader, which he would’ve most likely killed her anyway, because of her incompetence, and if she was under Tarkan, there is no way her stupidity I could ever take hold on planet
Palpy given her a second chance because while incompetent was not a danger for his position and better have her in command than someone more competent and ambitious
He probably had secret hidden cameras installed all over the palace and didn't want the show to end.

@@StuartLugsden, Thrawn was awesome (as usual), and I don't think Rampart should've been excluded from the Ryloth arc in The Bad Batch, but we definitely should've seen Mors alongside him, Cham, and Orn Free Taa, that would've been interesting. It also would've been good to see her instead of Captain Slavin... although, I suppose that does fit with her delegating stuff to underlings.
@@occam7382 There was no reason for Rampart and Crosshair to be there. It should have been her and the colonel. In Rebels it should have been her and Salvin. If they wanted to use Thrawn they should have brought him in after they escape.
