I have also tested with a CSR bluetooth dongle (CSR8510 A10). There is no issue passing it through to the VM in Virtualbox I have tested this dongle with another VM (Ubuntu) and it works fine. Just shutdown and started the Android 9 VM and it gave me a list of nearby devices in the Android UI, I can also see the VM's Bluetooth visible name on my phone but it won't connect. It might be a fake CSR chip, there are a ton of those floating about.

Thanks a lot for the directions. I already tried installing Android-x86 9.0 over Ubuntu 21.04 using QEMU/KVM and Virtual Machine Manager but for some reason it was unstable (black screen, never ending loop screen after a while etc), perhaps because I left everything on the default settings, i.e. I tweaked nothing. What I do not get about both VirtualBox and KVM is why they support Wi-Fi on Android but not on Win10, which I also installed using both. I only have ethernet in Win10, in both. With Win10 on Ubuntu via QEMU/KVM (and managed with VMM, not a terminal) everything worked except : wi-fi and sound. With Win10 on Ubuntu via VirtualBox the sound worked fine but I had no wi-fi and oddly the monitor resolution was capped at 1600 x 1200 (its native res is 1080p). VirtualBox also consumed _much_ more RAM (most of it 'invisible' in the System Monitor..) and ran and booted Win10 quite slower. I've been running Android Pie on Ubuntu 21.04 for quite a while now via VirtualBox and it's been stable. The RAM consumption is still very high (I have 16 GB of RAM, I gave the Android guest just 1512 MB, I run no other VM at this time and just the Firefox I'm typing this on the host and I see 14 GB of used RAM in the System Monitor which, again, does not add up based on how little RAM the user and root processes use...) but I think I will keep Pie on VirtualBox and Win10 on KVM - let's hope I fix the sound issue. It sounds absurd but to run Win10 on top of Ubuntu 21.04 with VirtualBox I require 32 GB of RAM.. :/ A potential memory leak?
p.s. I managed to 'fix' the wi-fi issue on Win10 via both VirtualBox and KVM. I actually did not fix anything, I just removed the ethernet cable and realized that what Win10 called 'ethernet' was.. 'wi-fi in disguise'. So what's left is the inexplicable resolution cap & high memory consumption of VB and the sound issue of KVM. In KVM I have the sound options of AC97 (but not with Pulse Audio as with Pie), HDA (ICH6) & HDA (ICH9). None work and AC97 additionally fails with the error (inside Win10) 'No Audio Output Device is Installed'. The other two _appear_ to work but no sound is output. (sorry for being a bother with my long comments, I will find the solution on my own.. eventually ^.^)
