Tapi, kerja investment banking ni memang high stress la, especially kalau korang kena handle order besar macam 1 juta saham Maybank tu . Overall, kalau minat bidang ni, kena ready la mental & fizikal sebab high risk, high reward.

Only 2mil revenue for the whole team?
I used to be a sales engineer for just any average engineering firm and we would close deals anywhere between 2-7mil alone..
And that’s just your run of the mill engineering firm. Imagine those who are specialised or structural engineering or one that carries actual products that are in huge demand. Those guys would close hundreds of millions per annum.
And we were and still are recession proof. During boom times, everyone wants to build driving prices up. During recession, the government is the way to go as they prop up the economy with infrastructure projects and more.
Nowadays, with maintenance and servicing, and more value added services, projects could garner even bigger profits and rolling returns.

If I'm a young business owner, and I bring in the right business deal or transactions , in 1 or 2 years I might make more than 2 years worth of bonus, ie entrepreneurs, the only difference is that one is wearing jeans and sneakers all the time vs one in a suit and tie.
