Such an illuminating interview with Malaysian Olympian Cyclist especially on his struggles & his entrepreneur spirit to capitalize to make more money with his hustling ... About the Malaysian culture of giving out medals to every participants of major Runs or Marathons in Malaysia is that , these medals are paid for with their entry cost & Malaysians are more likely to join if there will be a medal of participation to bring home at the end of the Race or Marathon! There will be Special P1 , P2 & P3 Finisher Medals plus winning prizes for the respective Champions! Malaysian sport organisers are getting smart too over the decades! Josiah's Wise Grandma got it right when she adviced Josiah to choose a marketable passion & learn to be master of it & market it to earn a living & expand! Starting them young with passion & love in their choice of passion just like Datuk Lee Chong Wai with badminton , Diego Maradona with football , Michael Jordan with basketball , the Americans & Australians with their swimming & the Bermudians with their Track Running!

Pendidikan Jasmani is a part of our school syllabus, however i notice it is never given a priority. The teacher teaching the PJ is not even a sport person . I always hear my son complaining that there is no PJ for that day because the teacher is busy lah, teacher is absent lah, teacher got meeting lah, school got dancing performance lah, bla bla bla bla. Its like PJ is just a second tier subject that is just there to fill the requirement. For kids, PJ is the most exciting subject for the week. They look forward to PJ day to play. Give some respect to PJ please.

Really loved the episode, and heavily agree with Josiah that culture is out biggest problem. The influencer space is filled with people like this.
At least when it comes to creators (be it TH-cam or insta or whatever) we don't have a culture of creating for the sake of creating. We have so many KOL/influencers here whose main purpose is to just do ads, instead of people who are passionate about creating, who also happen to be making money.
I'd honestly love to see this culture change someday as otherwise the entire country will never rise to it's potential. It's about time we have some big cultural and mindset changes in our country.
