It's not about race, it's about community, the business community in Africa are mainly Indians, the business community in Europe are mainly Jews and the business community in South East Asia are Chinese. Even in China there is a specific Chinese ethnic group that does business.

Dulu mak ayah orang melayu akan ajar anak2 supaya jadi cikgu, askar, kerja kerajaan untuk hidup confortable dan secure. As time by generasi baru lebih terdedah kepada peluang2 yang lebih baik. Ibu bapa cina pulak invest banyak dalam pendidikan dan mengharapkan anak2 mereka menjadi professional (doktor, accountant, lawyer) dan akhirnya mereka tetap end up berniaga buka klinik, buka firm.

Sebenarnya orang cina pandai ambil peluang...contoh,jenama honda adalah japan punya,tapi kat malaysia orang cina yg tolong uruskan...kfc produk america,tapi kalau kita tengok area manager adalah cina,hampir semua restaurant fast food begitu...
Pemikiran orang melayu pula cukup sederhana...biasanya mereka tidak la target jadi untuk jadi kaya sangat tapi cukup untuk keperluan hidup,jenis bersyukur dgn apa yg ada...tapi kalau jadi kaya betul itu merupakan bonus...
Kesimpulan aku,orang cina dia hanya fikir ttg dunia sahaja,jadi dia akan bermati-matian mahu cari kekayaan...bagi orang melayu pula,kerana mereka agama islam main peranan dlm kehidupan mereka,islam tak halang untuk jadi kaya,tapi dunia bersifat sementara dan akhirat selamanya...jadi bekalan bg orang melayu bkn semata-mata kekayaan tp taqwa...

But new studies show malay is better at every level of business from macro to micro. Chinese are losing momentum. The only reason you dont see these phenomenal is because there is no malay in ultra level businesses. So you see like only chinese good in business. For mid size, there are many already big success Malay in mid size businesses. But not as many as chinese. From micro and macro. Malay is better. Studies shows, in 15 years. Malay will hold 50% of the economy/business power in Malaysia. In 15 years, there will be malay is ultra level businesses. Above everything, we are all Malaysian.
Not by attitude and hard work but using political power seizing all the opportunities from the nons legally n illegally. It's a shame. That's why it's hard to respect the so called well to do Malays in this country. Unlike the nons.
