Stormfront in the first episode first talking to Homelander : “Wow your eyes are really blue!” Blonde hair blue eyes....... yep perfect match for a 90 year old Nazi 😂
Like, I don’t get the whole blonde hair blue eyes master race thing...how did it come about with hitler being the leader, did he not realise he had brown hair...did he not vonsider himself part of the master race? Or was he not considering himself because he thought himself above all people anyway?!
Was kinda hoping Homelander was going to have a Joker meeting red skull moment where even though he does terrible things even he can be like nah nazis are bad..... damn it dude lol
So my cousin and I were theory crafting possible story plots from this season regarding Black Noir. As anyone who has paused their viewing on Prime knows that Amazon has a feature that lists the actor who plays each character in said scene. We noticed that the actor who plays Black Noir is you guessed it; Black. Since Stormfront is racist, what are the chances that she knows this? Odds are low. No one knows the gender or race of Black Noir, not even Homelander as exhibited in Episode 4 of Season 2. We don’t see any scenes of both members interacting. What do we really know about Black Noir? He’s SUPER durable (like most supes in the show) but he seems especially so, super strong, stealthy, and an expert martial artist. For all intents and purposes, he’s a poor man Batman minus the intellect. Now hears where it gets interesting... What if Black Noir is the black guy in the flashback that got his face mangled by Lady Liberty. His body was still moving even though it was likely instinctively because of pain. It would explain why Black Noir doesn’t show his face or talk. Edgar could of been the guy who gave him compound V in order to save his life. Thankful for saving his life, Black Noir dedicated himself to Edgar in order to get revenge on Liberty. Because Liberty disappeared from the limelight, Black Noir climbed the ranks in order to join the Seven giving him access and the means to find Liberty (who we know is Stormfront) and end her. I can see a scene where Starlight and Stormfront get into another heated argument in the Tower and Stormfront confirming that she was Lady Liberty in view of Black Noir. Imagine his surprise when he finds out the person he was looking for all these years was right under his nose. I can see him attacking her and Stormfront not recognizing him until she either uses her plasma powers to melt mask or rips it off with her hands. I believe that then she would realize who Black Noir is. And then it’s a real DEATH MATCH. That would make a really climatic fight scene where we see two of the top brass supes really go at it. That leaves “Gustavo” as the real mastermind controlling the destinies of two supes by using their vices for his/company’s agenda. Man I love this show. Just a thought. Disclaimer: Haven’t read any of the source material. Could be COMPLETELY off-based but I thought it was fun to share.
Black Noir is the guy Liberty 'killed' the only hole I see is BNs crying during the Compound V reveal. That implies he didnt know - so how would he know Liberty and his death? If that angle is in play - I believe BNs family is killed by Liberty off screen and he ( and we ) find this out through a trophy room or her chest of memorabilia. I think BN is more like a wild card in the deck- doesnt belong to any suite in particular. We simply cannot know his motivations explicitly.
PLOT TWIST: Imagine if edgar was a supe and he just hid his power. So, they go to kill him and it doesn't even leave a scratch on him. I doubt this is the case but, this show's full of surprises so who knows.
Cindy seems to be another extremely damage resistant supe, like homelander, stormfront, black noir, translucent. She shrugged off a bunch of bullets in her back. I wasnt surprised that she was fine after getting shocked by stormfront
@@aaronbruce5568 since the newest episode shows that his face is all burnt and stuff and we already know that it was actual homelander who had raped butcher's wife it's almost 100% that black nior is gonna end up being very different then comic nior
Having read the comics, listening to their theories and ideas on what they think things mean and what's gonna happen is super interesting 😂. It's a little different from their GoT takes because they actually read the books so their commentary is different with The Boys. I like the change of pace
Stormfront's actress is Jewish, but her character is not. She said she was born in 1919, end of WWI, and was part of the Nazi regime from the beginning so I don't think the character would be Jewish (though there were rumors that Hitler had Jewish heritage, so you never know).
Yeah, I was wondering about that. They called her Jewish, but we've had no indication that the character is Jewish like the actress. I think you're right.
When they were talking about the Cindy scene, I think we are missing some scenes that will come in later, we didn’t see how they got lamp lighter out of the hospital either, he just was, same as her leaving the hospital we don’t know how she got there she just did so I think there is a chunk of story we will see in flashbacks
Curious if you guys watch the episode previews before making these? EP 7 shows Honelander & Stormfront meeting with Ryan & Becca and Homelander saying he wants them to be a close family while they help raise him
I see everyone saying it was the best. I’m not sure it was the episode I personally enjoyed the most but it was still fantastic. Such a smart show that also has that “dumb fun” superhero stuff that I love.
what did Aaron say at the end there? someone please tell me lol also can you 3 @nerdsoup check out The Expanse since you guys have amazon prime. i really believed youd enjoy it
Wait. What? That is _not_ how waterbending works 😅 In Avatar, a waterbender can only bend water that already exists. Waterbenders can't increase the amount of preexisting water around them. That sounds more like Pyro from the X-Men comics - which incidentally seems to be exactly how Lamplighter's powers work in this show.
I'm just wondering if Homelander is actually the strongest or is he just less restrained? Homelander thinks himself a God and therefore doesn't put any restrictions on himself, whereas I can see the others, whether it be caring for people's lives or just being careful in general, holding back a little even if they're doing it subconsciously.
Btw, TV Promos shows the preview of the next episode, so your "I don't think we'll see Becca again this season" would never have come to mind if you saw it.
Edgar IS VOUGHT. He body swaps. And his end goal is to body swap with homelander. Stormfront is getting close to homelander because that’s her future husbands body. EDGAR IS VOUGHT. Please talk about this theory!!!
Am I the only one getting a bit of a Lovecraftian vibe from the church of the collective? I mean even the name alone sounds kinda like a Great Old One worshipping cult. Personally I’d love it if the show was going in that direction
At this point, the comics and the show really might as well be two completely different intellectual properties. Aside from names, the two stories have NOTHING in common, almost every single detail is changed. I can completely guarantee that the show ending will be different. I find it ironic that you feel the need to repudiate Storm front and Homelander for being racist several times, but yet laugh at Lamplighter for burning/killing children.
Im thinking stormfront is homelanders mom. black noir is stormfronts first kid that went wrong like super A.D.D. or whatever retardation lol and homelander was the second kid (or maybe a twin) that came out normal. Great way to pay off the comic twist but be alil dif

I love you Frenchy.
No one laughed at the “Soldier boy Yooo” reference. And I’m a tad bit salty about it 🗣
came into the comments to make sure someone mentioned it
I did!! “I understood that reference”, in my best Steve Rogers voice 🤘

well homelander has a superiority complex so...

Beau definitely called the “HomeFront” family theory correctly.
Yeah, they are pretty great at predicting plot points
I always appreciate Aaron's insight.
Starlight's going to save everyone by absorbing Stormfront's electricity and blowing up, I feel like...
Wow, that's actually quite possible.
I thought the same... Stormfront's weapon = Starlight's power source. I'm convinced Starlight will kill her.

Please review raised by wolves!!!
Whoa. That'd be too meta for me, as I had a small role on that show 😅
The actress who played Carol (Jessica Hecht) in The Boys also played the wife of Ross’ ex wife Carol on Friends. Her name was Susan on the show.
finally someone said it!!! thank you
keokuk Yeah she is such a good actor.
I know her from breaking bad
Died at “I’d fuckin’ skip to him” 👌🏻👌🏻😂
I hear Black Noir is 'a clone of Homelander' (maybe like "Data" (the 'good' STTNG-android) to the "Lore" (evil twin) that Homelander is)
Well she also got shot like 7 times by security and it didn't phase her so, "11" might be more durable than some of the other test subjects.
Stormfront is Trump's favorite character. She's on standby.
Starlight looks like she is a Marvel drawing from the 90's in that picture. Amazing.

I can't help thinking that we are going to see Starlight fuck Stormfont up something proper by absorbing her lightning and sending it back.
One thing about this show that I like is that its dramatic moments feel dramatic, but not like the CW
I think Starlight will be the one to neutralize Stormfront by draining her lightning and using the power either on SF or maybe even Homelander.
"nightmare at the airport"
Jonah Falcon vibes
In the comics Homelander is made from Stormfronts genetic material.
I want the show to have 7 seasons just like the Seven.
