Old car mags are great! I bought several from an antique store probably 10 or 15 years ago. My favorite thing to do is look at the old classified ads for enthusiast cars back in the day...usually in the back few pages of the magazine. As I recall, one of the ads was for a '30's era Duesenberg...for $2500!! I think the ad said it needed work, but ran.
Speaking of Germany, my family and I will be going on vacation there in a few months. I'm going to research to see where any old car museums might be. Hopefully I'll be able to visit some.

Those overseas wars weren't a total waste...some people got extremely rich, and their families are still living off the wealth. 😞
I guess back in the day, a man that shaved every day was manly enough to sell Camel smokes, that would go over very well today...who shaves anymore! 🤔
