If you live in this part of the world you DO NOT travel at night because of cattle trucks which use the roads at this time of night so the cattle travel in cooler weather, plus wild kangaroos jump all over the place and wreck your car, not to mention it’s a nine hour long drive and he’d already been awake for 18hrs ‘prospecting’. There’s just no way you’d leave at that time for any other reason than to hide your movements or medical emergency.

Getting the story of what the locals think happened is always interesting. I remember talking to people who lived in the Chappaquiddick area shortly after the Kennedy/Kopechne incident. The local buzz was that Kennedy didn't know Mary Jo was asleep in the back seat, but had another woman with him. He got that other woman out the way before he reported the accident and was astounded to learn someone else was in the vehicle. Of course this is gossip, but is intriguing nonetheless.

Prospecting/mineral exploration in Australia is extremely popular and a big deal due to our rich and vast mineral deposits and reserves. It has also been competitive and murderous since the Gold Rush. I reckon they found something big and valuable and Graham wanted it. All allegedly of course.
On a different note, kangaroos are a big problem/hazard on the roads in rural and outback Australia and they can do a hell of a lot of damage if you hit one with your car - and it's sad for the roo too of course. ☹️ I have to agree to an extent with Graham's "constant concerns about a crushing and collosal kangaroo collision". Love the way you describe it though.

I live in Perth and have been compelled by this case for years - I search it every couple of months in case there has been an update, so I can’t believe Dr Grande has shared it. Love to see the Kehlet’s case still being talked about.
Probably Graham killed them - Jennie could have been dropped off out in the open, near where Graham was supposedly spotted on the road in the morning. Her remains would have been quickly scattered by wild boar.
One strange thing apart from Ray’s boots, wounds, and position.. is that his remains were skeletal - not in a state of normal decomposition for that length of time.. and no predators down a mine shaft.
I hope the truth is found. There have been so many spooky, similar stories of prospectors mysteriously disappearing. Wild West indeed.

I've been following this story since Ray and Jennie went missing and keep coming back to the question of why. I know some killers don't need a why, but Ray, Jennie and Graham were friends and this wasn't their first trip together. Was Graham interested in Jennie romantically and that's why he killed Ray? Was there an argument out at the mine and Ray was killed and then Jennie was killed because she was a witness? Hard to believe charges haven't been brought. Prosecutors might only get one shot but Graham isn't getting any younger. Now is the time to charge him.

The dog was very well trained and obedient. I don't believe for one second that she kept "running away". That's just part of Graham's bullshit story as to why he went off prospecting, supposedly on his own, for 14 hours all through the night!😕. Then packed up and left without them waking, and him not saying goodbye, I'm heading home!
      Yeah right!!😠. Totally believable. 🙄

She's gone mate. In Perth there is only six degrees of separation between most individuals. If there was shit going down between them, word would have gotten out. The family was 🤞 it's a real freaking sad case so don't make the Mum a suspect. The family know who did it, there just wasn't enough evidence to nab the bugger.

Part of any police investigation is looking for signs of life after they've gone missing (eg. use of credit cards or bank accounts, phones, social media, etc), any sightings of them, and looking at their life beforehand for indications that they might want to start a new life. They were also camped a long way from civilisation so she couldn't just walk off, and most people would never leave their beloved pet dog to starve out in the bush. It's the accumulation of evidence that tells them it's unlikely Jennie is still alive, sadly.

Dr. Grande, I love your videos. Please address your (seemingly recent) use of alliteration. I wouldn’t (with all respect) rate you up there with one of my favorite poets, Gerard Manley Hopkins, but you’re quite clever in its use. He was a master of interior rhyme and alliteration. I recommend his “The Windhover,” a goose-pimple-inducing work. The last stanza reads,
“No wonder of it: sheer plod makes plough down sillion
Shine, and blue-bleak embers, ah my dear,
Fall, gall themselves, and gash gold-vermilion.

I wrote this before. Below. But it happened again last night. Or, early this morning. Sometimes I listen to an episode a 2nd, or even a 3rd time. To catch details I might have missed. I don't remember what the scenario was this time, but I was listening. Fell asleep. Maybe my memory will get jogged lol. So I remember the dream.
"So this is lighter side ..last night. I had a dream I was telling some guys, "stop talking!" They wouldn't stop. 'Stop talking!" . Then I woke up. I realized I had fallen asleep listening to your videos, 🤣🤣 as people say, you have a "soothing voice " lol. That's why the guys in the dream didn't "stop talking" lol. Turned off the phone, went back to sleep lol 🤣🤣"
