George was heavily intoxicated. The remaining guest was looking through the drawers for the supposed money. When no money was there he threw George overboard as there would be a report from the victim that an attempted theft took place. The conversation heard prior to the thump was the remaining guest trying to get George to reveal the whereabouts of the money.
Small amount of blood in the room is evidence of assault of a minor nature......

My favorite part.
I get that it’s almost traditionally expected to binge drink on cruses, but I never thought it was a good idea to mix alcohol and the open sea. There’s too many chances for unpleasantness, fatal or otherwise. I really liked the second alliteration best Dr. Grande-although they were both great. Thanks for sharing them.

There are too many angles in this case. I am not convinced it was an accident. The guy Greg did speak out about not having room service and ended up murdered. And there is something off about the wife. Rip George 🙏 I pray his family finds peace.

What a mess, I wonder how invested the other countries were in investigating the alleged crimes. Also those young men sound like they were looking for trouble. One of them eventually found it.

iv been on lots of cruises and you be surprised how many drunk dopes there are on board and sit on railings .

What convinces me that he fell and was alone is the fact that the neighbor ,who could clearly hear the cabin door open and close, didn’t hear it do so after the thud. No one left because no one else was there

I have a really hard time believing those 4 guys weren’t involved in some kind of foul play when you watch the vid of their interviews & how they mock him. Also one of the 4 was shot & killed not long after he started telling ppl he was going to talk “about what happened”. Suspicious AF. Lots of things don’t add up. I don’t believe he just “fell”. The room was said to be tossed, furniture overturned, etc, with blood on the sheets. Lots of inconsistencies with forensics as well.
Yet the 4 guys that were on the FBIs radar were on recording saying how gangster they were and how they gave "that guy a hang gliding lesson without a hang glider". It's pretty evident they pushed him over board

This is why I’ve never had any desire to go on a cruise ship. Alcohol + open seas and icebergs.

A strange thing is that Jennifer turned up for her massage appointment 4 hours early....after very little sleep. If I had been that drunk there is no way I'd be up at 8.30am.......after being taken bak to my room in a wheelchair I'd have been crashed out until noon or later......

Took my one and only cruise 15 years ago. We took my son, nephews, & niece on the Disney Cruise. Like a bad day on Point Pleasant Beach ugh

No joke, I was wondering the other day if you would cover this case. Great analysis, as always!
How lucky to have a police officer there to witness the sounds and movements.
It appears that there was a lot left out of this assessment. Namley the secretly taped interview of the 4 teenagers about the events of that night. They were all interviewed together. Their answers were suspicious and they lied about being at their room ordering room service and eating a feast, during the time it is presumed that he went over.
Also, those same teenage boys are the ones that claim Jennifer was flirting with other men and that her and George had a fight.
The interview with them convinced me that they are guilty of putting him over. Specifically when the one guy says "end of story" a couple of times to make sure that none of the others say anything that conflicts with what he said.
Also, one of those same guys was accused of r*ping a girl on cruise. I say accused as it was on tape, but each jurisdiction claimed it was an issue for another jurisdiction to manage so criminal charges were not field (as far as I know).
Bad behavior mixed with bad characters never ends well.

He was mumbling to himself, pushed the chair near the balcony wall, boosted himself up to catch a breeze and fell to his death. Same scenario for Amy Bradley. Her dad heard a thud, too, that awakened him.
Anybody on a cruise knows how mesmerizing the ocean is at night and miscalculations happen.

People also get into fights all the time because they are intoxicated and there is no clear explanation for their provocation.
That's wrong. You just don't fall off a cruise ship. The walls are sitting at your shoulders. You need to jump off if you want to leave the ship.
