Those of us who prefer watching TH-cam are pretty spoiled these days. This channel, Tony, Finnegan, Derek VGG, Leno, Cleet, Deboss, Grind hard, etc. We just need more Dulcich. The quality of content is awesome.
And the other David(Newburn), and Mike(Cotton). I'm dumping my Discovery/Warner Blunders sub when the new episodes run out. Keep up the great content David, you are rapidly becoming the OG...🤣😂
@@TheDavidFreiburger Even if it is once every 10 days or twice a month, it isn't important, just that you're giving us video, whenever that is. We appreciate it. Thank you.
David I have been watching for years from Melbourne Australia, thank you so much for not giving up on the viewers. It’s such a blessing being able to watch you and all your mates muck around with cars and share it with us! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
All of my worries from the past couple of days disappeared within the first 30 seconds of this video. It’s so cool seeing Dulcich, Tony, and Freiburger all together again!
I hope you never stop doing this stuff, and I hope you find new ways to do content like Roadkill and RKG now that they had their plugs pulled. What you do is a meaningful part of our lives 👍 Keep being Freiburger! 👍
I fully agree.... I've gotten SO much enjoyment over the last decade+ out of these shows. I was TRUELY sad when I heard the announcement the other day that they were being canceled. The vicarious adventures that I've gotten from the shows throughout the years has been tremendous. Not to mention, I'm fairly sure that these shows have also motivated me to get out there and work on my own junk. I had some projects that were in the works, and I had sort of lost interest and the motivation to work on them. After watching enough episodes, they revitalized the desire in me to get out there and work on them again. I managed to get 1 car done, and I have been totally enjoying it for 5 years now. I'm GLAD watching the shows has revitalized the hot rodder in me that had taken a hiatus for far too long. The whole "Don't get it right, just get it running" theme that has been mentioned a bunch during the shows is a great motivator also. Once a guy gets his junk running and driveable, it puts a fire under a guy's rear to keep going on it and make it right. 👍
So sorry to hear what discovery did to all of you guys and gal. Your shows were the hi light of my days. I plan on watching everybody's you tube channels and i hope you all will get together to do episodes with each other. Keep the roadkill idea a live and kicking sir! Much love to ya
Great times are upon us! Full time videos from our favorites! While I mourn Roadkill, im happy to see all the new content from David, Mike, 12 volt Dave, Tony and Steve! Keep it going guys!!
David Freiburger A show ended, but Greatness never dies. Looking forward to your next infamous journey. The smiles you guys giving me over the years are irreplaceable... Hope to continue smiling... Thank you.
I love this stuff. Im sorry about the Roadkill cancelation. Thank you David Freiburger, Mike Finnegan, Steve Dulcich, Tony Angelo and all the other amazing people responsible for all the great Motortrend shows. I look forward to seeing what all of you automotive legends do next. Love the channel DF
Seeing the Battle of the Beaters in its entirety was so amazing! There is so much going on when you're racing, it's really hard to keep track of what else is going on. And I saw so many of my friends! Bummer that Amos and Darryl ended up red-lighting, but James (Gremlin) and Justin (Rambler) both helped build or save punishstang. Same with Jon (hearse) and Daniel (BMW taxicab). All those guys are good friends I made at, or because of this event. What a great thing. Count me in for power-adder next year! 🐎🌪🐌🔥
We all started Roadkill in the seventies. It just took a few editors to get it on the tube. I will say that out of all the hulks picked from barns and bone yards, you guys rose to the top of the heap. 🎉
Right? Gearheads have been making road trips with limited resources pretty much since mechanized transport was invented. Roadkill hooked us because of the lack of scripting plus decent editing
Another great year at duct tape drags. Thanks for including the A-team van. It may have been slow, but it snapped necks in a different way I went. Looking forward to bringing something a little quicker in 2025 .
Killer day, y'all! Looked like a great time! Where the hell did Tony go? Thanks for the video! Your drag announcing chops are in fine form, David! 🤘❤️🙂🇨🇦
I love the car scene right now. My generation luckily seem to be keeping the hoopties alive! Also thank you for having great looking, inexpensive merch!
Amazing vids as always Mr. Freiburger, the effort you and the editors and camera guys put into this really feels like we're back at home with the old Roadkill crew. ill be pushing to show up next year in my little green Maverick, hope to see yall there :)
With the demise of MT, I will definitely be following you and the others on Social Media to keep up with you guys! It's gonna be a whole new era and it will be great!
Finally. Back to free wholesome entertainment. Missed the old roadkill, El Camino Swap in the snow. Mazdarati (RIP), muscle truck / boat swap. Learned so much. Missed ya guys.
Thank you to all who put this event on. I am a huge fan of watching all kinds of different types of cars go down the track and see what they are capable. This is awesome footage and i am already looking forward to next year.

Hey Freiburger, thanks for making these videos. Been watching from the start and couldn't sign up to mtod quick enough for Roadkill Garage as I'd been a Dulcich fan since I was in highschool reading mopar muscle. Somehow my account slipped through the cracks and I was still able to watch from Australia with a VPN this whole time. I rebuilt the 4.7 in my Jeep watching the step by step roadkill extra series. Never done anything like that before but 100,000km later its still going strong 😉 Sad it has all come to an end.
@TheDavidFreiburger haha yes I should have! I was one of the people screaming and shouting about us getting cut off, but my subscription just kept renewing, so I kept quiet about it, crossed my fingers each time the platform changed and kept watching 😉🤣
Have been an OG since the first episode. Was probably 11 or 12 when I first saw it. Am 22 now, and damn have we all learned a lot on the journey roadkill was. I never did pay for any motor trend on demand, which is why this is the perfect ending. Because roadkill isn’t a show, it’s a lifestyle
Me too! They need to a HRPT type cruise in the West since Hot Rod refuses to go west of the Mississippi much, BUT do it with Roadkill style cars. No cars newer than 15 years old, No car you have spent more than 15k on, and it has to street legal and registered in your home state, Call it the "Roadkill Western Swing" or the Ducktape Performance Cruise". There are several routes/stops they could use that are 3 hours or less away from each other, For instance Day 1 in Vegas, Day 2 in Lake Havasu, Day 3 in Barstow, day 4 in Pomona and Day 5 in San Diego, Or Day 1 in Pomona, Day 2 in San Diego, Day 3 in Yuma, Day 4 in Tucson, day in Phoenix, or Day 1 in Provo Ut, Day 2 in St. George UT, Day 3 in Vegas, Day 4 in Barstow and Day 5 in Bakersfield. There are others also, just using those places as examples.

@@TheDavidFreiburgeris duct tape drags a motor trend channel entity or was this the last year the event will be held?

What is happening in Hollywood, etc? Is this a visible symptom of Q conspiracy manifesting?
