Looks like such a peaceful and rewarding camp up there! Loved the 360 views you captured. What an incredible spot to enjoy nature away from the crowds. Even though the weather wasn't the best, it still looks really nice 😍 Great work, Mark & Simon! 👌Have a great weekend ahead
@@joehusband8479 thanks for watching Joe, winter is definitely on its way and hopefully a couple more camps before the new year 👍 take care Joe, ATB Simon & Mark
That was great guys and those burgers looked the business, nice bit of sharing too👍. Those quarries looked interesting so I checked out your route on the map. It’s a fantastic area up there, like you say nice and quiet with great views. ATB Simon and Mark. 🍻🍻
Thanks for watching Dave, it’s a great part of the world with stunning landscapes. Nothing better than being up a mountain with good food, cider and views 👍 we hope you are keeping well. Simon & Mark
Awsome video lads as always. That last push up to the trig looked bloody brutal mind. 🥵 Them abandoned quarries popped out of nowhere too, what a brilliant place...I said to My Mrs 'Fairplay, 56 yrs of age and humping all that kit up the top of that ridge' Her reply, "56! So how old is his Brother" 🙄😂 You cant educate pork mate!! 🤷😂
@@1984flicky thanks for watching mate 👍 the last part was quite tough but I think it was how steep it was with not great places to put your boots into, but that fence is demolished because everyone who has been up there has pulled themselves up with it 🤣 it’s an awesome place and great camp spot. Yeah 57 next year and we are off to the Swiss alps again next July and hopefully doing 46 miles on the Via Alpina. We will never grow up 🤣 and those quarries are cool, it adds to the adventure, Wales is bloody amazing 👍 take care, Simon & Mark
Enjoyed that. That last bit looked pretty steep but definitely worth it for that panoramic view. Shame you didn't get the sun in the morning but still a lovely spot. Hope there wasn't too much wind after those lovely looking burgers 🤣👍🏻
Plenty of wind after Martin 🤣 awesome place up there and you would be lucky to see anybody up there which is a bonus 😉 we have driven past there loads of times and often wondered what it’s like up there and we weren’t disappointed, definitely going to more camps up there in the future. Take care mate and have a great week 👍
Brilliant video both. I'm definitely adding this place on to my list. Like yourselves,I've always eyed those mountains up everytime I go past them. And the fact you only saw 2 other people makes it even better 😁 those burgers looked banging fp. What an amazing picture that was, that you took Simon,of that mountain range 😍 look forward to your next adventure guys 👍🏻
@@charlenemalson8095 thanks for watching Charlene. It’s mad I think loads of us have gone past there and wondered what it’s like up there 😉👍 but it’s definitely worth a look. We are gonna try the hills further back next time we go up there and see if from a different angle 👍 thanks again Charlene, Simon & Mark.
That last push looked an absolute bastard 😂 Ive often wondered about these hills as ive whizzed by on my way to others! Stay safe and well fellas, Adge
Thanks for watching Adge yeah the last bit was steep as 🤣 you could see the fence was well worn with everyone who goes up or down there hanging on to it 🤣🤣 great camp though, ATB Simon & Mark
@@thatunfitbloke thanks for watching Paul 👍 cracking night, with great food and that flextail mat is really comfortable and its huge 👍 hopefully go on a camp soon mate 👍
Nice one fellas. The Dyfi Hills seem to get barely any visitors, considering how accessible they are from the road. That last pull up to Waun-Oer is much steeper than it looks on camera, great effort hauling the big packs up (and down) there!
Thanks for watching, that area definitely gets overlooked and we will definitely be going back as we saw 2 people all day, the views open up at the top revealing more great camp spots and hikes it’s awesome 👍 have a great week
Thanks for watching and commenting on the video. Those burgers are the future of camping food 😁 was a great night up there 👍 have a great week, Simon & Mark
Hi both, spectacular scenery when the clag disappeared. I can't do early mornings in the winter. I like to lie in, until it gets lighter. Mark when you showed your tent it did make me chuckle as the first thing that came to mind was a ship wreck 🤣🤣🤣 How far was your hike? Cheers atb Taff 🤠👊👊
Hi Taff thanks for watching, the hike I think was approx 3km. Marks tent pitching needs more work I think mate 🤣🤣 but he got it somewhere near in the end. Lovely place up there and not a massive walk it is stunning with not many people either 👍 take care Taff 👍
