However this doesn’t stop some people from crossing very serious lines… anyhow, I appreciate you all being here (virtually, lol!), and I hope to find some way to navigate this situation.

I had a stalker for a couple of years. I won't go into the details. I would agree to meet him to have a Civilized fight with boxing gloves at a mutual friends house. NO he wanted a street fight. Finally a couple of years later we bumped into each other at a local watering hole. A Bully I went to high school was in the bar too. I told him to come outside and watch my back to be sure the fight was fair, but he was too drunk to understand me. I normally wear loose pants and tennis shoes when I go out to Bars. I squared off with the dude and boxed the crap out of him. I broke his big nose. I threw a karate kick that did not hurt him so much , but he fell backwards and hit his head against a car wheel. There was a group of bikers watching and I knew they would have my back too if this dude pulled out a knife or something. The bikers said the little dude is kicking the crap out of the bigger dude. After I humiliated him, I was always afraid he might come after with me with a gun, but he never did. I came out of a store one day as he pulled into the parking lot. He looked the other way and pretended like he didn't see me. We were actually dating sisters at one time. I warned my GF's Sister that he was Creepy and she should not let that dude be around her daughter. She figured that out after 3 months or so. Also I had a contract to do some Trucking for a Local Phamaceutical mfg and this dude with try and run my large truck off the road with a Dodge Dokota Pickup Truck .
@evazubeck I believe the mistake you have made is posting the video about the Shepherd tradition in the Carpathian Mountains . Sometimes the costumes and the songs give the region and area away but I believe the name of the village might have been exposed. Then it is just a matter of asking the locals about you.. Stay safe Eva and I hope you will eventually find your peace !
the fact that you had to go down to your car in the middle of the fucking night is heartbreaking !!! The risk of wolves seems so less scary when compared to an unknown man. Me as someone who is so afraid of the dark would have done the same. More strength to you.
I don't know if others have said this, but I just wanted to say that leaving that space for now is not giving up or giving in. You are using the tools that you have to protect yourself, and being in a different location where you can feel safe and regroup is the strongest thing to do. You got this ❤
Don't stay there anymore until you can be safe. So sorry, but safety comes first and life is precious. And not everybody has good intentions. It's not giving up, it's about being smart and safe.❤
@@charlesking617 trespassing, stalking, uninvited. Take your video footage to your county sheriff. Report the incident at the very least Eva. Have it documented with local law enforcement.
My sister had a similar thing happen. She’s a waitress and does community theatre on the side. A man approached her after a show. Told her he had seen several of her performances and recognized her from her waitress job. He then told her he felt a “spiritual connection “ to her and wanted to take her out. When she declined he stalked her at her work several times and eventually sent her mail at her home address. It was a poem about how he couldn’t live without her smile. Insanity! It was terrifying and she ended up moving back home because she didn’t feel safe. How dare these people take away your safety! I’m so sorry you are dealing with this, it is not right! Stay safe and do what you need to to find peace.
It's taken me a month to watch this video out of fear, I had a stalker 10 years ago. The lasting psychological damage that still lingers means anytime I watch anything that involves a stalker I get a lot of PTSD, I get nightmares, I have panic attacks. I love Eva's content its always helped me push to recapture the strong independent woman I was before the stalking took that from me so to know she went through a incident upsets me because I know the damage it can do long term. I'm hoping maybe exposing this to me even though I know it will trigger me, I hope the chosen exposure will help me process my trauma and with time more and more exposure to the subject will help me get over it. I hope somehow Eva is more mentally immune to any lasting damage and I wish people would stop their shitty parasocial behaviour with creators. I'm sorry youve gone through this Eva, I hope you heal quickly from these incidents.
Yea I mean her lands not going to eat anything she could leave it be for a couple years. Let all this settle down and come back to in the future if she wants and maybe develop the property with better safety measures. Who knows she might meet someone and want to settle down there some day. She is still young
" _ If he is stalking you or if he was just a harmless visitor_ " So which is it? If he's a harmless visitor, then he's being accused of being a stalker for all the world to see. Not good, and with possible legal ramifications. As for private property, was there any way this person, if a harmless visitor, could know this? How does private property work in Poland with regard to fencing/posting, and the laws (if any) of trespass?
@istvanglock7445 he said I've found you I've been looking for you....she doesn't know him How harmless does that sound to you? There is not an expectation of privacy in the woods.
@@craigme4683 A man turned up, yes. Think about it... he figured out, where Eva lives; travelled a lot, and went there, to her property. For what exactly? Is that normal for you? Strangers coming to your home uninvited?

Community is definitely needed .. box clever hun and be safe .x
I've worked private security for a long time and that sort of behavior is a massive red flag and that's a total understatement. To go through that sort of effort indicates extremely dangerous behavior. Please seek some sort of outside help. No idea what your budget is, or how the polish police will handle these things. A restraining order will do nothing to a determined offender and may actually make it worse.
Yeah. While not the same situation, I have reported being stalked and death threats made by a group of men and women. They threw some threats around in real life, whenever and if they ever saw me, but they mainly did it online. (I was jumped by two girls from the group and managed to fend them off, sending one to a hospital, which is what triggered this situation) Polish police came back to me saying they can't do anything because there was no way of determining if they were the ones writing these comments online. In the end I was lucky because nothing happened. At the time my heart sunk and I felt so alone. I had no additional help from school or law enforcement. My father bought me pepper spray and to this day I feel it was the most precious gift I ever got. Even getting a restraining order is tough and I am not sure if I could trust anyone to care, believe or treat stalking seriously. Not to mention that it's just a piece of paper that doesn't stop anybody from actually doing 'the thing'. Sigh
Look out for your safety first. While it's nice to know what we can look forward to, it may be better to not announce future plans and where you will be traveling. Wait and post after you have gone on to a different location.
OMG I'm so heartbroken for you! Are you safe right now? My anxiety is sky high for you! Please be safe and don't stay. It isn't worth it. Guarantee your safety!!!
@@BlackBearForge Yes that makes sense of course. Best not to show her vehicle with license plate in clear view. Surely there's an easy way to blur out a plate number in editing.
@@douellette7960 not sure there’s an easy and 100% effective way. It takes time and effort to do it manually but that’s the only way to be sure it’s done right. It only takes one frame to give the game away. However in some cases the effort will be worth it and this seems to be one of those cases. A terrifying scenario to be sure. 😕
Stay safe. This 71-year-old grandmother loves watching your travels and is so very proud of your courage. You give other young women and men permission to be brave and follow their dreams by following yours. I'm proud of you, Eva.
I am a 72 young mother and grandmother and i do not understand why someone ( men and women alike!) wants to live in the middle of nowhere with the possibility of meeting bears, wolves and dangerous human males.
When my dog alerts like that, quiet and hyper alert, it’s a sure sign my stalker neighbor lady is creeping around, peeping my windows and eavesdropping. I’m glad you listened to the dog, he’s not going to lose sleep over nothing. Solo camping isn’t recommended by anybody but I know that self reliance and independence are cornerstones not only of your channel but your personality. I’ll be looking forward to how you overcome this challenge, some kickboxing episodes would be a hoot.
1. Check your vehicle top to bottom for any tracking devices. 2. Change your license plate immediately! And start covering it up in your videos. 3. Don't announce your plans of where you're going. 4. As bad as it sounds, you should consider buddying up with someone instead of going solo. This day in age there's more creeps than ever in history, and these days, they have more capabilities. 5. If you go back to your land, put up a perimeter fence around your structure & add motion sensor spotlights (preferably with cameras in each direction) to aid in deterring or slowing down whatever threatens your well being, which at the very least can give you time to prepare to react/defend. Because sadly, this is the reality of a solo camper/traveler. 6. Not sure about the laws of owning a firearm there, but you should seriously consider it along with any training to get you comfortable using said protection if you don't already. And lastly, you made the right choice to leave. Especially with your dog on alert, there was definitely a potential threat lurking about.
As someone who has lived extensively in both the US and an EU country, I vehemently disagree with the gun suggestion. EU countries have very different laws than the US concerning gun ownership and hurting/killing even intruders with a gun; it may be more risk than reward. However, I think a proper perimeter fence with cameras and motion sensor lights should have been installed before Eva spent the first night in the tent. As she said, wolves are a big problem in her area, so just for them, the extra security of a fence and lights would have been prudent. Now, even more so.
No point in changing the license plate. License plates don't give any information except for the city where it was registered (in Poland). Only the police and certain governmental agencies can pull the information off of a license plate.
The dark side of being a celebrity, even a modest-sized celebrity, is that you attract unstable people. A substantial percentage of the general population is mentally ill, delusionally irrational, violent, etc. That percentage might be 1%, 2%, or even higher. So if you have 1.8 million TH-cam subscribers, then at least 18,000 have psychological and behavioral problems. Most will not focus on you personally, but let's say that 1% of the 18,000 unstable ones do. That means 180 delusional people are focused on you personally. This is why celebrities have bodyguards, live in walled compounds, carry guns, and only interact with the public in very controlled environments. I hope you stay safe and move forward with your life. It is good that Vilk is with you, as he would fight to protect you.
Send Vilk to get personal bodyguard protection training. Just as you would not send an untrained person into combat, you cannot expect your untrained, but loving dog to go into combat for you. Get him the training that he needs to successfully protect both you and himself.
exactly right these people think they just profit from fans and don't need to reinvest in security... they grow up in a safe bubble and think the world is unicorns, rainbows and easy cash. any public figure knows that dealing with fans or haters is part of the biz. regardless of gender.
Certain breeds of dogs are great at alerting you to strangers, that’s it. They can be immobilized by pepper spray or a bullet. So, I wouldn’t bet my life of a dog actually protection, just as an alert system. My Staffordshire terrier “ Becky” and hear a mouse pee on cotton from miles away, and is a light sleeper. Making it impossible for anyone or animal to sneak up on me. I’d be waiting for you long before you can get close.
He used a drone to find you. Plus he probably ask people if they seen you anywhere. & followed your channel. Same thing happened to Alex Wild. He built a house under ground . & People found him
That was the first thought that came to my mind too, every time the license plate was shown publicly... Any creep finding or stumbling across the car, who recognises it as Eva's, could stick an AirTag to it to track its location.
Hi Eva, I've been stalked, I used to ride the bus while living in Austin TX, this guy decided once to follow me around the mall, then onto the bus, thankfully the bus driver caught on to what he was doing and kicked him off the bus... but that was just the beginning.. for a year and a half this guy kept finding me on buses and trying to follow me home. All the time I was stern and asked him to leave me alone, but I was "civilized" when I spoke to him. One night I was going home with 3 full bags of groceries and lo and behold he appears out of nowhere at the bus stop, and waits to see what bus I'm taking and gets on. I was able to trick him and got off the bus without him noticing because the bus was full... either way I started running. He realized what I had done and he stopped the bus, got off and started running after me. I crossed a highway and ran as fast as I could, I made it to an apartment building and turned around and yelled at him from the top of my lungs. He was shocked... and I saw fear in his face and he tried to calm me down but when I saw the fear I yelled louder. The apartment building had an enclosed stairwell and I had proped the door open, the echo in the stairwell amplified my voice and everyone could hear me. He kept saying he was following me because he wanted to "apologize" I yelled to him that I didn't care and yelled louder "stop harrasing me, stop following me" I turned around and slammed the door and ran up the stairwell. He didn't follow. I never saw him again. What I learned? Bring the f***ing BEAST out of you onto these people. Don't act civilized towards them, be derranged to the nth power!!!. And yes, also do all the other things people have advised, all of that is great, but bring your beast out. I love your spirit, stay strong, stay safe! ❤
For a year and a half then you realized you need to be angry and yell to scare him off. Ouch! I guess, better late than never, but I also don't know if you are just very patient person or just stupid. Year and a half.
@@kyleydiamond That is a wrong way of thinking what if and is it my fault if I do this or that, will I make this man angry. No! Year and a half is a long time and you have that much patience or whatever that is to just deal with it day in and day out without doing anything? Not even talking to someone, professional, just doing something. Start with restraining order like Eva and go from there, but just to live with it and experience fear for so long, absolutely not. One should also get something for protection and show it, so they know they cannot f... around.
I am so , very sorry this happened to You, I too had a similar, much more scarier experience. I lived alone in My Wilderness Cabin in No Where Yukon, when I came home from My Midnight shift at the hospital, I found a Man already waiting there for Me. Since we leave our doors unlocked, in the North, in case there are emergencies for folks who made need shelter, I found a Man inside My wee 10'x10' cabin... he was a construction worker at the hospital, he never did tell Me how he found out where I lived, alone... I leave a loaded .22 by the door and I had my hunting knife... My 2 dogs tried to warn Me prior, by greeting Me in My laneway, I just thought they were extra happy to see Me! My female then 'glued' herself to my side and gave low growls, I thought there was maybe an animal nearby, there were no tire tracks and no vehicle close to My property. He had already started a fire in my sauna, and was clearly drunk at 0830hrs. My hairs went up, I asked him to leave, told him my dog was trained to an attack word, he left, or so I thought, he then came back fully naked, trying to force me into the sauna.. I yelled and screamed, in case my closest neighbour was home, he wasn't... I grabbed my rifle and aimed it steadily on his face, fired the first shot, into the ground; to let him know I was serious, that was then he took me seriously and left.... will never forget that feeling and YES; THIS IS WHY WOMEN CHOOSE THE BEAR
Showing up uninvited, unknown is not illegal, you need to make it illegal, post signage, be armed and capable. I've been concerned this would happen as many men are watching this show and yearn for someone the opposite of the Kardashians. Doing anything alone in the wilderness is dangerous these days man and especially women. Society has not taught manners, decorum, or courtship for decades.
@@kerryscott3287 I was armed and more than capable, You think a No trespassing sign is going to stop a DBag? This was many decades ago, there was no internet, and my property was very isolated and not visible from any road, he had to walk in... he laid in wait, while making himself comfortable in My own home, while I was not there........
bless your heart. we always need to have guns and dogs if we live in the wilderness like that. Appalachia isn't quite as remote as the Yukon, but man it's close, LOL. so scary. nobody deserves to have their privacy and safety and sanctity of their home violated like that. ugh
It’s a good thing you got your dog specially, a German Shepherd. They can sense your anxiety, your fear, and they will take action if somebody tries to harm you.❤
Be careful when you post things that show road signs, location signs ( like in todays video when you parked your car, there was a sign). There are so many people and devices out there that can figure out where you are based on those little things. Posting once you leave is great, but even if you drive 50 miles away from your land and then post something with a road sign, etc, you are narrowing the field for someone to find you. Be safe!
I thought the same thing when she drove to her safer place for the night, you could see a distinctive sign in the background. Now this safe space is not safe to use again. 😕
it is fairly easy to find out locations even without a sign. In Eva's case i guess a 5min search, maximum, its fairly easy to find (wont say how here, of course). When wild camping one should keep its location secret, Eva is doing the opposite here, just saying objectively. Such events are to be foreseen; there always are a few weird people when talking to a bigger audience, and thats unfortunately enough for trouble. Especially in Poland, almost all people are very fine and awesome, but there are a few weirdo+drunks out there.
@@mountainmoments every country has its weirdoes, but what i see a a kinda naive woman, not very aware of some realities, she needs to prepare herself better and yes sadly sharing your things with the world can have its consequences too.
So as a woman who spent a lifetime camping solo in backcountry, hunting and hiking and exploring, people are really the only predators I had to worry about. I do carry a gun now when I am out because of experiences I had that were very terrifying and close calls. I also use motion activated solar lights around my tent as early warning systems as well as some other more secretive alert systems. The best thing is to use deterrents as much as possible but give yourself as much early warning also so you can be alert and properly responsive when needed. I am not the kind of woman to let people prevent me from doing the things I love and I don’t think you are either. I am familiar and proficient with firearms and have had personal defense training as well. A good guard dog helps. Mine was a Doberman who has since passed and she was often deterrent enough. There are always going to be men who think they know you or want to possess you. Who knows what stories they cook up in their heads or delusions they harbor. Just know you can find ways to continue on the path you have chosen. Don’t let the b-ds get you down!
Yes, in Eva's situation I agree, especially if she wants to reclaim her land and tent living. I'm not a gun advocate and don't have one but her situation and celebrity changes everything.
this makes me SOOOOOO ANGRY for you. i also suffered from a stalker when i was living in the city during college and i know what it's like to live in constant fear and viligance - afraid to walk home in case they were watching me. i would walk in crazy circles through the city to go to class in case they were following me and i didn't want to lead them back to my apartment. it made me physically unwell. i wouldn't allow myself to go to the same grocery store nearby more than once a month - i had to have a whole plan anytime i went outside and i was crumbling with the pressure of it all. it really does destroy your freedom. i had to go out of my way to do ANYTHING. this makes me SOOOO angry that you are having to go through this on your beautiful private land. you deserve a safe place to rest in between all your travels. you did the right thing in leaving. you're not giving up. you are taking care of yourself! and keep talking about it!!!!! men need to hear stories like this to LEARN. i'm also so sad to hear about the other stalker following you to africa. sharing your story is so BRAVE and you did not retreat! it's for those men who are stalking you to feel shame for their actions - not you!
@@LittleChaoticMonsta yes, as soon as i graduated i moved to another state. the paranoia from the stalking experience stuck with me - when i moved i didn't tell ANYONE where i was going except for my immediate family and one friend. i cut contact with my university professors (the stalker knew them) and most of my classmates. and after that i ended up working on sailboats. i was constantly on the move sailing around the world and no longer had an address on land. that was what helped me to heal honestly. basically starting my life over from scratch - all new friends, new countries, new experiences. it made me braver and i stopped living in fear. but before that while i was still living in the city i wasn't able to get rid of my stalker completely. i changed phone numbers, moved to a different apartment, cut contact with any people who knew him - but because he knew where i went to school and what university program i was in - i was always paranoid he would find me at those classes. and after i moved away from that city my sister still lived there. we look a like. she was working at a well-known museum there and one day she told me that a man came in and was acting strangely walking in circles around the room and staring at her and then eventually he came up to her and asked what her name was. after staring at her name tag he then asked if i was her sister. even just writing that down gives me goosebumps AGAIN. it actually took my sister more than a year to tell me this story because she knew it would send me down a spiral of fear. thank god he never came back to her workplace again and she ended up finding another job a couple months later. it still gives me goosebumps though.
OMG sorry you had to experienced that, as a woman and as someone who experienced something like living in fear of a roomate for a couple months were I felt in complete danger everytime I would arrive at home instead of feeling as a temple to rest and had to run away and going back to my parents to other state and it has took me a year to recover from that experience. We woman have had to become more warriors because of this when it shouldnt, we should feel protected by men and not the opposite. Sending a hug and spreading awareness🙏🏻
I am so sorry to hear you are having these experiences. Just today, I had re-watched one of your old videos, filmed in my area of the US. It was a time that you appeared to have so much fun and it made me smile. I pray that these individuals with delusions will leave you in peace. Be well and be safe.
I am the daughter of a mom who told me she survived an attack by a serial killer when she was younger. She was very cautious around me growing up and I have a few inherited extra senses about safety and I really hope you take this seriously. When the shock of what happens wears off, don't fall into the trap of humanizing a stalker as someone who will see common sense with a restraining order or feel bad and eventually stop. They're insane / unhinged / dangerous. Be grateful you can be angry because you're alive. You need to take extreme precautions, yes, you are strong & independent, but you are also an attractive single female who settled in an isolated location. Even just saying it was the Carpathians in Poland was too much information. I'd go as far to say you should have lied even about the country you settled in to help secure your privacy. Also I wouldn't film skylines or mountain ridge lines around your property. I feel the only way you can maximize security is by filming months in advance, and straight up lie about where you are if you do ever show a static property. I personally am terrified that you'll want to tough it out and stay. I would leave and not come back to that place, no matter the frustration of leaving. Your safety is no. 1 priority. Finally, I am so sorry you experienced this, remember never ignore your gut instinct.
I am so sorry that this is happening to you! This very situation happens to women all around the world. Myself included and it is terrifying. Be safe ladies ❤

Men rarely have to face this reality. It wasn’t until I started a family of my own that I truly realized how many women live with the constant concern of predators-a burden that most men simply don’t experience or even consider.
Generally, based on size this is true.. but Erotomania primarily actually affects women. So MOSTLY people who deal with THIS scenario are actually men.
That's sadly just another downside of the modern feminist movement and the never ending push to take down the "patriarchy". I'm an older man but I was born well after the women's rights movement and I did spend a lot of years as a liberal myself even though being raised in a non religious but conservative Republican household and I rebelled as quickly as I was grown and out of the house but the point is I'm absolutely for women's rights and everyone's rights just as equally and I understand the importance of those feminist movements back in the day and I agree there were far more men back then who would have rather been able to stay above and in control of the women because they were truly messed up in the head and as a man I have every bit of disgust and hatred for those men as the modern feminist do but the issue has become that let's face the truth I wasn't even born during those times and I'm very certain that none of the modern feminist were either but that hatred for not just those men but all men still exist and there's the problem not all of us men or not even remotely the majority of men think like those men did but we are being hated I'd dare say even more than the women back in the day who stood up and fought for women's rights hated the men back then. Most of the women back then understood that not all men were like that and they didn't want lump all of them into the same group but these days there's not a single modern feminist who doesn't hate all us men unless we're gay or trans but if we represent anything that looks like masculinity they hate us. And the point is we can't control our nature and we shouldn't be made to feel bad about it or hate ourselves for it and more than that not all of us are disgusting pigs with minds that only think about hurting women or taking advantage of them. But there's definitely plenty of sicko's out there who do and other than being armed the only thing these sicko's fear is other strong men who stand a chance of taking them down And I'm by no means saying that a woman can't do that either but it's undeniable biology that the majority of men are built taller and stronger and heavier than the majority of women especially younger women so it makes sense to me that if you are a woman who feels like you don't have the physical strength to fight and overpower a man then find a good strong man and even if it's just friends then have them around to protect you or learn how to use a weapon preferably a firearm. But women are getting so far away from the natural biological way of how nature is they're going to get themselves in trouble. Just my two cents take it or leave it.
As a man, I had a similar experience once, from another man, and it still haunts me. When sleeping on a night train, I was suddenly woken up by a person who I do not know whether was on drugs or mentally impaired, but he seemed fascinated by my short cut hair and wanted to pat it. Deeply disgusted, I just left him do it because I was too scared and confused from the sleep and did not know what he was capable of doing, and then he just left. My friend, who is a man, had a similar experience when he was a young boy, going fishing on his own, when an old fisherman was having nasty talks to him, and he was also quite traumatized, after all those years. So, men are also victims, it is just even more weird for them to talk about it openly. This might be a fact that many women do not consider. Nobody, men nor women, nor animals, nor natural forces, deserve being exposed to scary situations, where their boundaries are disrespected.
i am so sorry, eva. i am an old woman now but have had so many similar experiences. stalkers, peepers, assaults, more. i understand the terror, the feeling of being unsafe. i have no answers, just memories of like terrors, of men having no boundaries...
My daughter now 28 was attacked by 4 guys, in their early 20's, that tracked her down when she was 19 and thank god my son, 17 at the time was there. She got scrapes, a torn shirt, but nothing else. When my son attacked, he was hoping someone else or a few would help him, no one did. He ended up breaking a few bones in each of them, gouging out eyes and anything just to survive attacking 4 bigger, stronger men. They had hospital stays, and he was treated and released. After she got divorced later, she moved in with both my sons on a farm in Bavaria that I bought for them along with a trained guard dog for her. That still bothers her today and she will be taking the first bar exam to be a lawyer in Germany very soon.
Woo, your son is awesome. I survived an attempted murder in a truck stop bathroom and all I had was a tooth brush. Those moments deciding whether I was going to stab her in the eye or above the eye are still surreal to me. I choose above the eye and that was my last chance, she almost strangled me. Next time I'll be making a different decision.
We need more men like you and your sons in this World. You have my respect for raising a fine young man, also for helping your daughter feel safe. Much respect to you!
I understand where she is coming from. In 1975 on my 21st birthday I was jumped by 4 guys. Fortunately I was with a very good friend and he helped out. And thankfully the biggest guy, the leader, came to close and God said to me YOU BETTER FIGHT! Well, the big guy gave me an opportunity for 6 to 10 Good shots to his head. BUT - I never went back there. Everywhere I went for a long time I was very aware, maybe a little scared.. and I was a tough guy. Even today, now that things are so much worse out there, I realize that at 70 yr old, I cannot protect my family as I once could. It's a little concerning for me.
@@lulumoon6942 He went into it not expecting to make it out, just to by time. That is a hard decision to make and he did it, but adrenaline and training kicked in. The nasty, underhanded, vicious and mean training. Stuff you do not practice, just talk about the unwinnable situation.
Eva, you may or may not know the meaning behind the word "retreat." When the word "retreat" was called out on the battlefield, I thought it meant to run, flee, and give up. But it actually meant for those on the battlefield to get to a safe place, patch up the wounded, regroup, and rethink their strategy. This is the smartest thing to do when faced with an overwhelming situation. It shows strength, which is what you are doing right now. You are a strong woman, Eva, and it shows in many of your videos. Even in showing your vulnerability, that is strength. Being an empath, watching this brought tears to my eyes. Being on the other side of the world and wanting to help in some way was challenging, so I prayed to my higher power for you. Now, it's time to let go. You are a smart woman with a network of people to reach out to when you need to. And I'm sure retreating will bring you and Vilk an exciting new adventure. Much love from Australia. ❤
I'm a man and was stalked on by someone in a bathroom one time, the total sickening and fear I had in my stomach was the first time I've EVER felt that as a man. Then it dawned on me, oh wow, this is what women experience almost regularly. It happened to me only once in my life, but I imagine it is way way more common for women to experience this more than once.
Scary thing is we are most likely to be killed by our partners. Yes, there are bad men out there, but the one next to us can turn as well. And if youre a woman and know the statistics, those numbers never leave your mind. Because the others didn't expect it either.
The genie is out of the bottle now, and hindsight is 20/20. But in this video alone, your car's license plate is showing and isn't blurred out. There are geotracking groups that can see just a snippet of forest or a ridgeline of a mountain range, and can pinpoint that exact location, anywhere in the world. The beautiful view from your property you've been sharing on your channel is enough for people to pinpoint your exact location. The world shouldn't be this way, but it is. You have almost two million subscribers, and that doesn't count viewers who aren't subscribed. I hate to tell you this, but you have to stop sharing so much of your life. It sucks, and it's NOT YOUR FAULT, but that is reality.
A European license plate says literally zero. It's not the US where all your data is public for anyone to look up. The European Union has very strict privacy laws.
@@lidewijvos That's good to know; I wish it was that way in the U.S. But still, if a stalker or someone is in her area and looking for her specific car, they know her license plate number.
Well said. Many single woman have been victimized by this kind of male delusional thinking. Women need to be aware of the dangers of fame and especially the loss of their privacy.
@@lidewijvos In Poland, when you buy a car from another city or even from the one you live in, you can even keep the old registration. Only from police records or at the office you can find information about who owns the car. It’s not that simple.
@@ksmith9715 I agree. Thanks to the internet, we are living in dangerous times. But I feel these content creators are not going to stop sharing their lives. So, they have to weigh the pros and con of the their decision. Now I hope that she starts to change a few things about her channel. I don't know what she can do, accept posting less, sharing less. Stay safe. 💯
Until you get a home built, with locks, and security, you can't stay in the tent. This is a strange world with bad people in it. The problem is that when you are a known personality on the internet, people can find you. Everyone has access to satellites that can go by just one name or word and find you. I have to find people in my work, and anyone can be found. No matter even if you are way up in the woods. So the deal is to protect yourself - at all times. You have a beautiful property, don't give up on that. Build a cabin that you can lock up. Build a road to the cabin so you have a fast safe route. But don't give up on the property. Be as safe as you can be.
To both of the creepers who went above and beyond in their stupidity. If you are reading this please seek professional psychological help. Creating fear in someone's life is not ok..Its never ok. 🤬
Why do assume they are mentally unstable? plus, if there's no fence there's nothing stoping you from crossing someone's land. You can't even know you are on one unless there's clear sign stating that. What if I were hiking and just met her right there, at the same spot? Should I seek psychiatrist as well?
Hello, this is the first time I’ve encountered your channel. I was stalked when I was 19 years old for about 6 months by a man who was barely an acquaintance. It escalated very quickly and I just remember how shocked I was over the entire thing. It ended with him showing up at my door a few days after Christmas brandishing a butcher knife. I’ve actually blocked a lot of it from my memory. I was very lucky to come out relatively unscathed (physically). The police helped me as much as they could and I ended up moving from the area. I never saw or heard from him again. But it seriously went from 0 to 100 so fast, it is very disorienting. But they are delusional and you just cannot rationalize it, don’t even try. It isn’t your fault. Your safety comes first, please do whatever you must to protect yourself. 🖤
Dogs and firearms. While you are restricted in the use of the firearms, trained dogs will do an amazing job. Instinctively they bite at main arteries and veins. If they sense you're in danger they will act. Believe me, nobody wants to face 3 or 4 dogs coming out of nowhere
10k comments, but this seems like a decent place to piggyback and supplement simple & mindful defensive information -- As an infantry combat veteran (and various other occupations and experiences in conflict), I wanted to note that in watching her pack up and begin traveling out, I wished she had low profile red lights (or red color caps for the whites) so that she's not traveling as a bright beacon in the night for... predators _[sic]._ Red occupies a much 'dimmer' wavelength on the spectrum than white, which literally means your illumination is more difficult to see at any distance that isn't close to you. Combined with informed light discipline, you have all the light you need, where you need it, and you're much more difficult _for other people to see_ in the dark. -- *" 'lume awareness" is extremely important for humans, as defense as it is offensive.* Red is low profile (defensive), and white is high profile (offensive). You carry a white light, off, ready to use when you _must_ point at something (man, beast, or dangerous terrain) -- they make small, and very bright handtorches with 'aggressive tips' (serrated aluminum edging on the frame, intended for striking an attacker to the face and head) to destabilize someone if you're approached (shining directly at them forces their eyes to pinhole, making you all but invisible behind the white light. These style of handtorches usually come with a strobe setting, which is exceptional at maintaining your upper hand in a confrontation by forcing their eyes into chaotic adjustment). This is a valuable factor, since you can hold the light at different heights or angles (with standoff) to favor deceptive positioning, making it more challenging for an attacker to accurately assess your posture and close distance. Anyone reading this, these are all very simple items to acquire (widely available) and wield and mindful principles that give you valuable advantage when you need it most, god forbid.
@@Trepanation21 I have such a torch and it's amazing. I'm even training myself to hold it in the left hand 1m away from me so that anyone blindly attacking the light only hits the air or, at worst, my left arm.
I had two men show up in our remote camp in Idaho in 1979. I was camping with my boyfriend and his best friend from Maryland, and his girlfriend also from Maryland. My boyfriend was from Maryland and moved to Idaho to attend the Forestry Program. I was the only Idaho native. While our boyfriends were fishing in mountain lakes all day, two men showed up drunk with a bottle of whisky in our camp. At first I thouht of them as more of a nuisance. After hours of them drinking and offering us beer and whiskey, (we had our own beer ), and it started getting dark, and our boyfriends hadn't returned, I started to get nervous. The old man was friendly joking and a talker . His son looked like Grizzley Adams and never said one word, just stared at us. I was 19, long blonde hair, thin. Cindy was 20 long blonde hair, and both of us wore swim suit tops and jeans when they came into camp. We changed to flannel shirts, jeans, hiking boots, and I wore my down vest. When it got dark I went to the pickup and slammed a banana clip of 50 rounds of 22 shells into my 22 rifle. I took it back to the campfire and just sat there holding onto my rifle talking to them like nothing happened. The huge 6 ft plus mountain man, left went to his camp, next to ours, came back with a 45 strapped to his hip. I told Cindy to meet me at the pickup. I explained to her things might get weird if the guys don't come back, and the fact Grizzley Adams had armed up, but I had more bullets, and wasn't holstered. So the next 5 hours we sat there uncomfortable staring at each other. The old man kept joking and doing small talk, never said a word about me grabbing my rifle, or his son holstering up his sidearm on his hip. T he son just stared at us with this creepy stare. Didn't talk Finally at 2 AM our boyfriends came down the mountain very loud and drunk. We were so pissed as they left us alone in that camp, but they didn't know about those two men. Those men had drove by looking for a place to camp that afternoon, and saw us two young women alone by ourselves and set up camp in the spot next to ours. *T hey left as soon as our boyfriends returned. Never said a word just left.
@@luckylogger7594 for sure they was fixing to have yall for dinner! They was waiting for you to go to sleep. Thank God your smart and armed up surly if they had the opportunity your bfs would of came back to a much different situation ♥️🙏
Eva, something you need to understand about stalkers. They actually get off on your distress and tears. It makes their day to know they have succeeded rattling your cage. It is like their fuel. Don't give that to them. It just makes want to come back for more. Also, restraining orders won't protect your life. They are just a piece of paper to the unhinged.
As a man, I feel terrible that other men do this to someone else. And I am so sorry that you have to go thru this solely because you follow your dreams and you share your life experiences. There is no excuse, there is no rational reason for a man to do this awful things to someone else. It even somehow makes me angry because our societies and communities allow such behaviors to some degrees. Such people should seek help in order to become a better human beings in general and to get their life back. I can't imagine how they think that this is normal behavior for a grown up man or any human being for that matter... I hope more people support you, because you are so incredibly brave and strong person in order to share and even document what you have to face, just because you are open minded, bright and have passion for sharing your life on social media platforms. It is such a shame that some men don't realize how inappropriate is to stalk others. Once again, thank you for speaking and giving your voice, so our world can become a better place 🗺👏
Eva, I’m so sorry that this happened to you. I’m a retired Police Officer and old enough to be your grandfather. I have experienced several instances of young men becoming fixated on women not known to them. It seldom ends well. Your safety is paramount and you did exactly the right thing in getting out of there. Please reconsider EVER going back. If one person can find you, then so can others. I’m not trying to scare you, but it’s the simple truth. Stay safe.
@@EyefyourGfthat’s obviously not what he said? yes there are delusional women out there, but they 80% of the time will not physically hurt you. men, on then other hand, will kill you without a second thought because you don’t feed into their delusions.
@@EyefyourGf that may be true but your comment does nothing to address the situation. In Eva’s situation, it is a man chasing her, and we are all too familiar with how many of these cases end.
I appreciate the exciting potential of your new property and the vision you have for it. However, I believe it would be prudent to reconsider the idea of staying alone in a tent in such a remote mountain area. Before making it your permanent residence, I think it would be smart to focus on building a proper house and establishing a reliable road that connects you to civilization. And of course, implementing various security measures that would enhance your safety. As someone with combat training, a firearm, and experience as a former soldier, even I would hesitate to camp alone in an isolated location given the realities we face in today’s world. Your safety, as well as Vilk's, is paramount. Please prioritize your well-being and hold off on camping there until you've developed a more secure environment with all necessary precautions in place. Stay safe Eva!
I camp alone, at 79 and in my younger years I hiked alone, 7--10 miles at a time. But Idaho mountain country is a lot different than most places. I live alone, but neighbors are close, 1/4 mile to 1/2 mile away and my nearest grocery store is 8 miles away and my nearest Costco is 2 driving hours away on a two-lane road. All places can be dangerous, but I think Idaho mountains are some of the safest. Maybe Eva can move to the States where she wanted to live but real estate is too high, now.
I bought 35 acres of land in the mountains, intending to slowly develop it while I camped there. Neighboring property owners (Hillbillies and mountain men) trespassed regularly, tore down my fences, blocked my access roads, threatened, and harrassed me. I left my beautiful land after one of them, completely unhinged, attacked my girlfriend and myself. The local police will not go up there. These men boast that they are friends with the sheriff. It must be true because we filed assault charges the day it happened. We recorded some of the attack on my cell phone and took pictures of our bruises. After postponing his court date every few weeks for almost a year, the D.A. suddenly decided not to prosecute because of "lack of evidence." They stole my off grid dream!!! 😢
@@fritzdeuces Ummm? I'm not entirely sure how one's supposed to react to your comment. I have to wonder why you did the thing? Sorry to hear of your troubles. Just found your channel the other day. Your running vids around the world are an inspiration. I hope you find a way to keep going safely.
It might be worth asking someone to search the dark web for your name. The fact that 2 different creeps showed up probably means there are chat rooms where they discuss your whereabouts.
Most don't know or understand how big the "dark web" and how dangerous it can be. Nor how much crime transpires there, of all the worst kinds you or Stephen King could imagine. Take this comment at face value, if you are going to travel the world and post much of it on TH-cam. That is a VERY wide net to catch at least a few crazies.
Brave to share this! What a terrifying experience. On your own land! I hike, camp and vanlife a lot alone as well. Writing this from my van in the wild (Europe). All I can hear are birds, but each car passing by makes me extra alert. It’s how it is. Like you, I have my own safety rituals: a weapon by my bed, car keys and a charged phone within reach, never share a live location with the internet, but I always let someone know where I am, and always park in a way that let me drive away, and I try to never arrive in the dark. And I have a dog:) My most terrifying experience was someone knocking on my van in the middle of the night, pretending he was a female police officer. I saw him coming, the recording being played, and didn't open of course. Waited forever for him to leave. And then I also drove away. Shakey. And one time someone, either super drunk or drugged told me to move but I had a flat tire and couldn’t go anywhere. I rang the police. Thank god we have dogs! It’s unsettling not to know the intentions and what intoxicated and mental unstable people could potentially be up to. And yet, despite these moments, I feel much safer in the wild than in cities and busy zones. Take some good time reassessing. I’ve been struggling getting into making videos, for which a big reason is less privacy. But also courage and priorities I guess. You inspire me to show up more in the youtube thing. And you encourage sooo many people, especially women I believe to get out there and be wild! I hope you find a way to continue that doesn’t sacrifice the freedom and peace of mind you need. Always follow your instinct. Sending love, care, and solidarity from a fellow adventure sister. ❤
Itchy Boots had the same problem. She works months ahead now and no one knows where she is at any moment. Any presence on the internet, let alone on TH-cam, makes one vulnerable. There are choices to be made unfortunately. Good luck
Noraly is really way more thoughtful and well planned and has a very methodic way. I don't know when she started it, but she definetly starts posting way after she has been through somewhere. And even at her beginning, she was not in the same area for more than a few days if she was not absolutely pinned there for some reason She also has pre-arranged contacts in case something goes awry, GPS locators, SOS beacons with her etc.
@@frankrault3190 She even went so far to find a German mechanic who can build an old analogue bike from scratch, with next to infinite supply of parts, in case she needs one, build a Tenerife from scratch and modified so that she can stay mobile and least amount of malfunctions, sensor problems, electronic issues etc. One of the big reasons, I am sure that although she doesn't expose herself in the night, she still did not want to be stuck somewhere for prolongued time because, when you pass through, you're just a phantom, but if you are there for weeks, waiting for shipped parts, it might draw attention from a lot of people because she sticks out a lot in places she visits. The main idea is to be as mobile as possible, yes. But I'm dead certain the other thing is, she's been in unnerving situations and wants to avoid being stricken anywhere as much as possible
My daughter's stalker caught her leaving her apartment to go to work late one night. He violently assaulted her and held her hostage for hours. She was unrecognizable after the attack. That was 7.5 years ago and she still suffers from horrible PTSD. As a mother, it was the worst thing I ever experienced as a parent.
God thats so awful. I hope she can or has found a group for therapy that is helpful. .as a parent myself i cant imagine Prayers for (both of your) continued healing. 🙏🌻
Hi Eva! You need another property to live on, keep it secret, never film on it, a property where you have direct car access and camp in your car ready to go. Never show your emotions especially fear because this may trigger psychos, they enjoy it. Nobody should know where you are or where you will go. Post weeks later after you left a location. We understand. ❤ Thank you for sharing. A big lesson for all women who are hiking and camping, thank you!
I'm a 48 year old man and I live in a rural location. It is common around here to wave at passing cars or pedestrians who are out walking. Recently I noticed that woman more often than not don't wave, especially when they are on their own. I wondered why this was the case, and then it dawned on me that if they wave at a man, then some men would think it was an invitation instead of just a greeting. I mentioned my observation to my sister and she was like well duh!, she said she was once followed around a supermarket because she smiled back at a guy.
Duh, indeed. Now think further: Women have to be alert at all times. We have to be suspicious of every situation where we encounter a man on our own because not just our personal experience but also history has shown what happens. All the time. Every single woman I know has made multiple experiences with scary men who tried something or succeeded. Imagine your privilege not having to live with that level of precaution at all times.
Yep, that's the sad truth. I often like to be friendly to all people and also currently work in a customer service job. I am so sad to see how often it happens when a friendly smile or word or two is thought to be flirting 😕 I feel sorry and frustrated that women have to be careful even being friendly and for decent men who experience things like you or even worse, because of the stupid ones. Also some men seem to think, that all women like being complimented on their body. I can tell to most it feels intrusive. Especially at swimming hall or such 🤮 I am glad you know why this is happening, that in many cases the women aren't just being rude. Have to add that most men are still decent. So I still continue to be friendly and try act cooler with creepy ones
Living in Northern California, I am used to camping with plenty of wildlife. I love animals. Bears, mountain lions, snakes, coyotes, etc do not scare me at all. It is the human species that terrify me.
Living in Idaho, I car camp a lot usually only a couple days at a time. I see very few people. I few weeks ago I came across a cow camp. Public land is used by cattlemen a lot to graze their stock, I first went through their cow camp and then met them further on. I enjoyed talking to the nearly 6-foot driver of a pickup. The group was heading for winter camp at lower elevations. This person mentioned that the group had killed 40 rattlesnakes the previous winter. I'm glad she was friendly because she wasn't someone to be trifled with, but I enjoyed my visit and directions. Even with good maps and a hand held GPS, traveling in my region is still hard. I got lost trying to go on gravel and dirt roads back to my home but luckily an old guy in a utility truck helped me. I'm also well trained with firearms, but I'm not a mechanic, so if I break down I might have to walk home 50 miles and my arthritic joints don't do well. I only travel, usually in my county which is the 18th largest U.S. county with only 17,000 people but no one lives on back country public land, so I rarely see anyone.
Just stop it. It’s a dangerous and stupid myth to perpetuate. In Romania the government official data shows that in the last 20 years 27 tourists and villagers were killed by the carpathian bears and 274 people were disfigured!
Well, I do love mountain lions, camped solo around them, woke up to two wild lions fighting near my tent in California and had worked with these kitties, and Im a woman. So now you heard of one, son. They are much more harmless than dogs

FWIW an associate was doing a round the world motorcycle adventure trip and blogging it , although he was ntot grifting for cash, just a blog. He found the bulk of the people he passed by to be kind & helpful . Even more so after some one worked out where he was , beat him up & stole his bike & all of his belongings . So not they get posted 6 months after he has done each leg . The person most responsible for your safety is you .
I spent fifteen years volunteering in covert child and family protection for the very reasons you illustrate here: everyone has the right to be and feel 100% safe. A lot of people don’t understand this, don’t care, or they prioritise their own wants. I told all of the people who I helped escape violent or possessive men that I would never seek them out so that, if in their new home they heard that someone using my name was looking for them, they’d know this to be a lie used by their abuser. This is just one of the lengths I felt were necessary to protect vulnerable people. My advice to you is to take all precautions. Trust in your instincts and perception. If you ever need any help, I will do everything I can and I will always lend my unbiased perspective to any thought or feeling you have. Feel free to reach out to me whenever you want. If you ever need to talk to a man who understands
That's absolutely terrifying! It's scary to think there are people out there who would act this way. I'm going to be blunt. He knows where you are and you have to assume he will be back. Next, if he found you, surely other people can as well. You have to prepare for that. Even if he gets arrested and never comes back, someone else could find you the same way he did. Relocating, perhaps with the help of professionals, is unfortunately your safest bet. No amount of locked doors and security cameras can protect you from a committed stalker. The alternative is armed security. I'm not going to lie to you or downplay the situation like others might. This is serious you need to act. Don't be afraid, but be realistic and aware.
No, but a gun, bear spray, pepper spray, self-defense classes are the best chance of stopping stalkers. Woman or man, you need to be able to defend yourself anywhere if travelling alone or living off the grid. It is the sad reality, unfortunately.

I escaped my kidnapper. I solo camp as therapy. You need to add lights outside & away from your tent close to the tree line so you can actually see what’s going on out there after dark. All you’re currently doing is lighting up yourself after dark so someone could sit in those woods & watch you, but you’d never see them. THIS IS WHY WE CARRY OUR PEW PEWS as well, along with mace & bear spray. I camp in state parks in the fall & winter when I’m likely the only camper. My state doesn’t have blm land to camp on. But even with that I’ve gotten a bad gut feeling & packed up to leave as soon as I got set up. I take men’s sized 13 shoes that stay outside the tent, I bring an extra smaller tent & extra chairs to look like I’m not alone. I also got a German shepherd, Labrador & a Labrador/Malinois mix who accompany me now as well. Stay safe out there & ALWAYS TRUST YOUR GUT. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Oh, and try to leave in daylight when at all possible. Don’t stop for a cup of anything, just get out!
I love the idea of making it look like you are not alone! Good thinking. Unfortunately, she has to pack all of that in but might be well worth it. Also, we all know the creepers are reading this now.
Permanently lighting up the wilderness is not a good idea, for people or wildlife. There are plenty of low light cameras available that should give plenty bright pictures if there is enough light for a human to traverse the terrain. (Infrared lighting is an option but relatively easy to detect with cheap equipment so nothing that will deter the determined).
@@notsonominal Motion-activated lights could be part of the answer. Not a full solution on their own, but as one of the pieces of the puzzle. I think the best option, though, is probably to relocate and then be much more careful about revealing information about the new location.

Hi Eva, If he seems to always know where you are: He could had put a GPS tracker in something you own, e.g. car, luggage. Apple's AirTag is also something to be aware of. There're are apps who can tell you if something, e.g. An AirTag or something like it, is tracking you.
Good advice. He could have put a GPS tracker on your truck also. Have it throughly checked out to clear it from tracking devices. It might be a good idea to change your phone and phone #. It could have been hacked and now be tracking. So sad that this has been your new reality. I'm truly sorry.
@@charonstyxferryman My thoughts exactly. My ex put a GPS tracker beneath my car last year. Also, why why why did she displayed her car plate for the world to see here?
Android phones have a tracker scanner built in, go to settings, and search "unknown tracker alerts" enable it and it can scan automatically, but there's also a manual scan that allows you to pinpoint a tracker... in my job were supposed to scan our company vehicles to protect ourselves... I imagine it's also in European phones...
Yes Eva I will be polite ❤️ what your are experiencing is really sad…..I’m in Canada and and being 66 years old, I love following your videos….being public and doing what you love, these people doing this to you is not what you were doing this for . Hope this will change. Fallowing you inspires a lot of people around the world….DON'T STOP DOING WHAT YOU LOVE. A far away friend from Canada. Cheers
Eva, so glad you are following your instinct to step away from a dangerous situation. You are one of the most inspirational women I have seen and are an example for us in your courage to follow your path and know when it’s time to delay a dream until you can be safe and joyful living the dream. Cheering you on. Be safe!
Your courage is impressive, as is your resolve. You certainly don't deserve to live with that anxiety. I hope things get better. Put your privacy and safety at the top of the list. Best of luck to you.
Some times it’s important to take refuge and re-engage. What you do is important, not just to support you, but the support we get from you. Your stories help us to connect, to a place within us that yearns to move beyond where we are and begin to inhabit parts of what we can dream. We need you as much as you need us to continue your journeys, to expand your stories. They are like the stories our ancestors told their children. To encourage and expand their own horizons. So no, now is not the time to stop sharing. In our world, it is more important than ever
Hello, Eva, your video popped up in my TH-cam feed 0:27 today. I don't know why, this is the first time I have ever seen one your videos but I did watch it and have empathy for the concern that you have with the stalkers. I'm a retired therapist and have some familiarity with this type of behavior. Generally, it is erotomania or a psychotic stocker (schizoprenia), and the gentleman who flew to Africa was most likely dealing with erotomania. But you have to be careful with psychotic stocking, because they are not responsible for their actions. So if they were to harm you, because they have a serious mental health issue. They're not responsible for their actions. I am sorry that your privacy has been violated and that the wonderful things that you are doing with your property, your passion, and your independence have been disturbed by these men. Please look into ways to keep yourself safe. Increase your security measures, and I hope everything turns out good for you.

Wasp spray, 27 feet of continuous spray in the face, they will wish they hadn’t… get many cans and cart one . more cameras too. I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. It would be a loss to us if you discontinued your journey, you are such an inspiration - don’t let them take this from you. Fight back in whatever way you can. It’s outrageous and terrifying! Not staying there until you have the camp secured is not giving up , your being wise. Praying a circle of protection around you! ❤ You are so brave 🌸
Wasp spray is good but most cans are fairly large. More practical would be to have pepper spray that contains indicator dye so authorities can positively identify the perpetrator. Most pepper sprays easily fit on a Keychain or EDC carry.
@chatsnoirblamo Can't stay away from a stalker...they always violate personal space!!! Only thing you can do is make them regret entering that personal space.
@@cantbendkneeYou are delusional if you think stalkers are only one sex. Stalkers are of both sexes. Do a little searching and you can find very famous male and female genders. Jacqueline Ades, Leanne Zaloumis, Dawnette Knight, Shirley Turner, Margaret Mary Ray, Ruth Tagg, and Selena Quintanilla, etc. are a few of many dangerous stalkers you are probably unaware of. Check out those names if you don't believe me.

Eva, I am no one and I have been stalked in my lifetime 3 times. I wil say it again, I am no one. I live in the US and I own guns and know how to use them, and will if I need to. That is the only reason I feel safe at home in the mountains alone. I KNOW what you are feeling right now. I don't know what your laws are there or to what degree you would protect yourself. I only know what I can and will do at my own home. So many men in this world feel so entitled when it comes to women. They do not believe that women should have anything to say about the choices they make, even if that choice is to have you. Thier ego is so much bigger than thier brain, its pathetic. That is not to say that there are no good men, I know some of the best men in the world and I trust them whole heartedly. Please do not let a few bad ones wreck your dreams. Get tough. Check out what happened to Vanessa Blank. She has a YT channel and was stalked, even though she is married. Maybe talk to some people who have had these things happen and see what they did about it. In the end your safety is up to you. A restraining order is only a paper ultimately. I don't know what your options are for equalizers, but don't give up your dreams because of freaks. I also have bear spray, a taser, a nasty Rotwieler that hates people and the will to do whatever I need to so that no one hurts me. I hope you can figure this out and not quit what you do. You are a treasure to most of the world. Remember that, most of the world respects you.
@wout123100 Wow. I had nothing to do with him, I haven't seen any image you say he posted, and Eva says she is in her early 30's being stalked. What does any of that have to do with a freak like trump? Angry are you? You think I wanted that POS as a president? Or you are just a troll. Do you really want to have this conversation here? Go to Washington gun law and you will see me call out trumps people all the time. We can have this conversation there if you want. I have no social media so the only other way we talk is if you hunt me down and show up at my house, my sanctuary, uninvited. Want to try that?
I hope that things work out for you Eva. I was stalked by someone in my martial arts dojo. It came to a point he followed me on my way home good thing I sensed this before I left the parking lot and I ended up hiding under a car till he was gone. Then he would send me suicide threats that if I didn’t go out with him he would kill himself. My best friend died of suicide just a year prior to my experience so I asked the elders in my martial arts dojo to intervene. Turned out he was doing this to a number of other young women in our dojo. Anyway, the elders intervened and spoke to his parents and I left the dojo for another one. If you could sleep on a friend’s couch and change your patterns for a while would be good maybe also do delayed posts on your channel i.e. post stuff from a month back… so people do not know real time where you are. God bless your beautiful soul. May you be protected always in all your travels and endeavours. Leaving is a smart thing to do for now and not giving up. It’s proper risk management as your friend said. Maybe blur signposts that can reveal where you are? Take care.
That is so scary i am so sorry this has happened to you. You havent been defeated, you have stayed safe and unhurt which is the main thing. Watching this was so scary for me so i have no idea how it must feel to be in the woods alone feeling like this. In my 20s and early 30s, I was heavily into hiker and camping. And depending on the time of year, you would meet the same people over and over on the trail or at a campground. There were a lot of single women who did van-life, camping, and hiking by themselves. They would always tell us stories about men stalking them or just "incidentally" showing up at several campsites they were at. There are some truly broken delusional individuals out there. If shutting down your channel is what you have to do, I hate to see you go, but I understand why.

@@edwardmacnab354 You just don't understand the perhaps irrational fear that most women have around this man/bear exercise. We have heard so many terrible things that have happened to women -- things *_far_* worse than being killed. The vast majority of us certainly do not think that all men are bad. Instead, it's that we don't have a way to know *_which_* ones are until it's too late, and we fear that it would be our luck to meet that man in the woods.

Something most men will never even be aware of having to live like this. Stay safe and be hyper aware Those men are extreme in their actions. Be very careful. I love your channel and would absolutely hate that anyone should destroy your freedom and security. This is so upsetting to see it happening to you. Please protect yourself.
I had a camping channel and will start again one in half a year or so, but anyway... I posted videos about where I was, like a month later or so and later on, exactly a year later, so the seasons made sense and nobody would ever find me... and I had plenty of time to edit the video 😂

Eva, if you intend to use a knife as a self defense weapon, please get yourself the proper training, or get training with Mace or another similar pepper spray. Better yet, get a comprehensive course on self-defense for women. You are an independent, often solo adventurer. Situations like this, unfortunately, could happen again. Such courses also give you training in how to assess someone approaching you, teach about cover and concealment, escaping holds someone may have on you, and much much more. They're worth doing for peace of mind as you adventure through the world.
Americans are different but I don't know anyone who would live that remotely without a gun. I'd have a shotgun or rifle plus a side arm to carry. Protection from animals and that includes the men who are hunting you down. Women have a right to feel safe anywhere but that isn't the real world we live in. Get a gun and take gun safety classes so that you learn how to be a responsible gun owner. Don't let it be known that you have taken these steps. Then go back to your land secretedly and protect yourself and your land. It is your right!

So which is it? If he's a harmless visitor, then he's being accused of being a stalker for all the world to see. Not good, and with possible legal ramifications. @@versedi Trespassing on private property.
Yeah. While not the same situation, I have reported being stalked and death threats made by a group of men and women.
They threw some threats around in real life, whenever and if they ever saw me, but they mainly did it online. (I was jumped by two girls from the group and managed to fend them off, sending one to a hospital, which is what triggered this situation)
Polish police came back to me saying they can't do anything because there was no way of determining if they were the ones writing these comments online.
In the end I was lucky because nothing happened. At the time my heart sunk and I felt so alone. I had no additional help from school or law enforcement. My father bought me pepper spray and to this day I feel it was the most precious gift I ever got.

Gun. Defo

Society has not taught manners, decorum, or courtship for decades.

bless your heart. we always need to have guns and dogs if we live in the wilderness like that. Appalachia isn't quite as remote as the Yukon, but man it's close, LOL. so scary. nobody deserves to have their privacy and safety and sanctity of their home violated like that. ugh
As a resident of AK, thank God you had a gun, sorry to hear this had happened. Sad the world has people like this in it.

Not just road signs. Even the surrounding hillsides can be geolocated.
it is fairly easy to find out locations even without a sign.

It’s heart breaking that some people don’t respect the freedom and boundaries of others, especially men of women.
this makes me SOOOOOO ANGRY for you. i also suffered from a stalker when i was living in the city during college and i know what it's like to live in constant fear and viligance - afraid to walk home in case they were watching me. i would walk in crazy circles through the city to go to class in case they were following me and i didn't want to lead them back to my apartment. it made me physically unwell. i wouldn't allow myself to go to the same grocery store nearby more than once a month - i had to have a whole plan anytime i went outside and i was crumbling with the pressure of it all. it really does destroy your freedom. i had to go out of my way to do ANYTHING. this makes me SOOOO angry that you are having to go through this on your beautiful private land. you deserve a safe place to rest in between all your travels. you did the right thing in leaving. you're not giving up. you are taking care of yourself! and keep talking about it!!!!! men need to hear stories like this to LEARN. i'm also so sad to hear about the other stalker following you to africa. sharing your story is so BRAVE and you did not retreat! it's for those men who are stalking you to feel shame for their actions - not you!
I'm sorry that happened to you! How did you end up getting rid of him? Did you move?

Men rarely have to face this reality. It wasn’t until I started a family of my own that I truly realized how many women live with the constant concern of predators-a burden that most men simply don’t experience or even consider.
Is that why the VAST MAJORITY of people who are KILLED by violent criminals ARE MEN?
Generally, based on size this is true.. but Erotomania primarily actually affects women. So MOSTLY people who deal with THIS scenario are actually men.
Develop a mini commune. A few people, a couple dogs for noise and presence
Best to your children. Glad they made it out alive. 🙏🕊️

-- *" 'lume awareness" is extremely important for humans, as defense as it is offensive.*
Red is low profile (defensive), and white is high profile (offensive).

Stay safe.
What you say is true, I really agree with it.

You should look into bunkies. They are pre-built cabins and they drop off the material and you build it yourself.

It might be worth asking someone to search the dark web for your name. The fact that 2 different creeps showed up probably means there are chat rooms where they discuss your whereabouts.
This is honestly so terrifying to think about.
Awful to have to think this. Possible though.
What an awful thought 😳
This was my first thought unfortunately. I think it must already be there :(
Most don't know or understand how big the "dark web" and how dangerous it can be.
You sound very foolish. Enjoy your "freedom"

I think this is a really great opportunity for men to check their privileges.
Especially at swimming hall or such 🤮
I am glad you know why this is happening, that in many cases the women aren't just being rude.
Have to add that most men are still decent. So I still continue to be friendly and try act cooler with creepy ones

Living in Northern California, I am used to camping with plenty of wildlife. I love animals. Bears, mountain lions, snakes, coyotes, etc do not scare me at all. It is the human species that terrify me.
ive never heard of anyone not scared of mountain lions let alone loving them
I agree but it makes me so sad.
Not sure if it’s been said or mentioned, but please check your car for AirTags, they’re so small and easy for stalkers to use!! Stay safe Eva❤️❤️

I also got a German shepherd, Labrador & a Labrador/Malinois mix who accompany me now as well. Stay safe out there & ALWAYS TRUST YOUR GUT. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

God i am angry
You are strong , beautiful, intelligent you are amazing , dont give up for men , then they have won ! Adopt big shepherd dogs and electric fences and maybe woofas (young folk working for board and lodgings)on the edge of your land living in a caravan in exchnge with security and dog sitting.
we love following you you are so inspirational . But safety goes first in this fucked up world. You are in our thoughts darling and we re sending you strenghth, ❤❤❤❤❤
I have seen your video, and I just want to say that this is not fair. No one should have to go through what you are experiencing. I am truly sorry for what you are going through and sending you all my strength and warmth.
Don't cry my sister never give up in this life ❤ I'm with you
Wasp spray, 27 feet of continuous spray in the face, they will wish they hadn’t… get many cans and cart one . more cameras too.
You are so brave 🌸
Wasp spray is good but most cans are fairly large. More practical would be to have pepper spray that contains indicator dye so authorities can positively identify the perpetrator. Most pepper sprays easily fit on a Keychain or EDC carry.
That just gives them an excuse for worse. She must stay away from them
@chatsnoirblamo Can't stay away from a stalker...they always violate personal space!!! Only thing you can do is make them regret entering that personal space.

No, that is a trick of the devil. Hell is a neighbour who plays the accordion.
Are we not allowed to say what gender the stalkers were?
@@cantbendknee She identified both as men.
“Women choose the bear, I’d choose the bear any day” that statement gave me goosebumps because of how real that is! I’m so sorry this has happened!
Ok, I'm probably behind the times and the new lingo but what does "women chose the bear" mean? 🤔 Just curious. Thanks!
I’d choose the bear too.
@@PeterTX-PL just google it dude. pretty funny :P
Most of you would not have any choice other than the bear. Saying all men are dangerous is just like saying all women are gold diggers.
That’s just a men hating view. Reality is that a bear would eat you. The world has plenty of troubled people in it. Male and female.
I'm very sorry that things turned out for you this way. And I'm VERY glad that you have Vilk! God be with you.
I'm so sorry that you've gone through this. I've watched your videos through Alaska and United States. And you show me places , I will never be able to go. I thank you for that. God bless be safe
Remember that, most of the world respects you.
what about your new president..he is one of those macho men, posting an image of that for young people to follow.
@wout123100
Wow.

@@wout123100 aww still salty about that election? LULZ. Make sure you grab a security blanket.
Take care.
@@evesdaughter6130 did they kick him out of the dojo!?
That is so scary i am so sorry this has happened to you. You havent been defeated, you have stayed safe and unhurt which is the main thing. Watching this was so scary for me so i have no idea how it must feel to be in the woods alone feeling like this. I am glad to see you had someone there to help you pack up and I hope in the future you can return and feel safe.
Eva the gift of sharing your world adventures has been an inspiration. May you be safe and protected wherever you go. And may you be safe and protected on your land as well. Really glad you have Vilk.
If shutting down your channel is what you have to do, I hate to see you go, but I understand why.
believe me , it's even worse if you meet a bear .
@edwardmacnab354 We would sometimes have to grab people and drag them away from bears because they're trying to take a picture with a bear thinking that black bears are big dogs!
@@theylied1776 yes , we have the same type of thing happen on vancouver island , Local bears can become quite docile and tourists play into that not realizing that the more wilder bears can be very very dangerous if they sense they can take advantage of you
@@smlorrin the thing is with men like that , the woods is the least likely place to encounter them. A bar is the most likely place .
Sorry this is happening. I feel your fear. This is what so many women go through. We have to reconstruct our lives just to be safe. Change our routes, leave early or leave later, go to different laundries, change grocery stores, at the extreme we change jobs or get displaced from our homes.
Parasocial relationships are scary, but these guys are even scarier. Hope these "fans" see the video and understand what they have done. And I really hope this does not encourage even other "fans" to set out to "save" you.
Pepper spray is illegal in a lot of European countries
I really hope she reads your comment. She doesn’t hold a knife like she could defend herself. I would have grabbed ax. I grew up with guns but still learned some basic techniques for when I’m unarmed.
good advice
You don't use knife for defense. If it gets into attackers hand you are dead.
