The theme music was composed entirely through multitracking the Easel Command and using various functions therein. The drums were created from GarageBand loops.

I just got one and I know these videos are going to be a lifesaver. Watched your videos on MS20 when I first got a mini too. Was a great help as well!

Just ordered one and am trying to soak in as much as I can about how to use it.
Really enjoying this series, thank you!
Have you covered the workflow required to connect CV into the Easel Command from an external source? For example, I'm interested to know how to bring in CV from a DAW through a DC-coupled interface into the Easel Command.

No. Personally, I’m kind of against Don’s designs being used as just another DAW extension. The true joy of the Easel is using it to its own ends. It’s not just a sequencer or a timbre source.

      @@automaticgainsay I guess I can understand that.
At the same time, foreclosing on this conversation shuts out a range of expanded-control possibilities that I don't think Buchla would have considered improper?
For example, I'm trying to parse my hand's position in the air using a LEAP motion controller and Max/MSP to export control voltages. That's not really a DAW extension and is more in line with Buchla's Parabolic Trajectories performance th-cam.com/video/6W7Hr-WHvzc/w-d-xo.html
To each their own, I suppose.

I believe it’s because the modulation oscillator is already normalled (connected internally) to the complex oscillator. So it’s unnecessary. You would use that more when you wanted to take the Buchla modulation oscillator and modulator another synth or something. He was just showing that it could be sent somewhere and for ease sent it to the complex oscillator of the Buchla rather than another synth or something.
