You all prolly dont give a damn but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me
I went to Kauai for a vacation a couple years ago and it was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on! It’s a small island and not very popular so you won’t see a million tourists everywhere. The people there are so nice and I went on a helicopter tour which went around the whole island because it was that small! It’s a great island if you love being in the outdoors and taking hikes. Also, the beaches are stunning! I would 100% go back.
It's awesome! Totally worth it. Re safety gear: you do want the helmet because 1) the light and 2) you might bonk your head in the tunnels. The water flows pretty fast and you are bounced around a good bit in certain parts. Call Kauai Backcountry the staff is great!
Did this a few years ago with a bunch of friends. Sometimes you see things on the internet and they don't quite live up to the hype; I would say if anything this was a bit more fun than expected. Definitely worth it
No, not funny, Kawaii means cute and it's Japanese, I don't like it when people put the 2 together, it's irritating, yes I'm butthurt, get your places straight, Hawaiian Kingdom, Japan.
There was so much safety gear, wow! I’ve been tubing heaps in the past with friends and family and tbh we didn’t even wear life jackets - let alone helmets! XD
I went to Kauai a week prior to when I wrote to when I wrote this, the tour guide actually said they used to not have any helmets before, and they had to get helmets because people actually hurt their heads in the tunnels and outside too.
The water is shallow enough that vests aren't really an issue. Very possible to bump your head though, particularly in the tunnels and in fact did a couple of times. But was no issue with the helmet on
I did this exact tubing excursion a few weeks ago and if you're with of group of people who you like it's really fun, you can kick off the walls and spin around. Then relax on more calm parts of the river.
We have a river a few minutes away from my house that we go tubing in all the time in Summer! We’re normally tubing for four hours each time, but I totally recommend it!
My nana live on Kauii and I am here now. I come here every year and didn't see this until about a year ago. I am going on a helicopter tour this year (today actually) but next year I will make shure I try this out.
Not at all, my partner works here and the tour takes you through historic Sugar Cane canals. You go through land that is not accessible outside of the tour and you learn a lot.
I live in Kauai and there are many more irrigation systems that you can tube through just not by a company. Like me and my friends went through some very long irradiation system and ended up in a lake with a waterfall
I’ve been living here for almost 8 months and I still haven’t done this!!! But that luau in the beginning is legit but I like Smiths luau better! Aloha from Kapaa! 😁🤙🏾🌺✨
It was safe. Not exactly thrilling but it was fun overall. Clean cool water. Great tour guides. They will give you lots of tips and info about the island and its history and culture. Went there a few weeks ago. They are thorough on safety that is for sure.
Your series is great. Please consider going to the Philippines particularly Coron or El Nido palawan. Their island hopping activity with breath taking view are to die for. Promise!!
You should go rafting in the Alpes mountains. It is way more thrilling, though it can be a little different per company. I rafted on an actual mountain river with cliffs on both sides and giant rocks in the water. We had to paddel (6 tourists and an instructor per boat) forward and backward according to commando's by the instructor and we went of some waterfalls. There were some kayakers with us in case anyone would fall of and they did a lot of tricks like spinning around, going upside down and going of waterslides and -falls created by all the rocks. It was definetely the best thing in the whole vacation.
As much I say I want to be here, I already am and It’s always so hot here but very fun, Yes I am aware of your “Hawaiian/pidgin” skills so I won’t get mad 😂, I would suggest going to pono market in Kapaa to get food, and if you really want,go to coconut market place in Kapaa or try going to kukui grove in Lihue. 😊
Just a heads up for those who seek to do this: There is a weight limit. 320 is what they're drawing the warning line at. And it's 320 and wide, 320 and tall is acceptable.... At least that's what they told me as I came in, I was the biggest dude in our pack. Secondly: Why cry about non-direct flights? Only so many cities service directly to Lihue, like Houston, Seattle, LA.... Heck, even the Bay Area airports service directly to Lihue.
I went on the same one, it was so fun. We went Around the same time to. So when I saw the video thumbnail I was like wait watttttt the tunnels were very scary, but it was fun.
Decommissioned sugarcane aqueduct - My wife and I did this back in November and we had a blast! Did you eat the make it yourself sandwiches at the end of the tour?
I did this, was def underwhelming but our tour guide was great! I talk about my Hawaii adventure and tubing on my podcast Ersatz Era Podcast free everywhere!
Straight up I’ve done this ride it was cool but there are a lot more places there that are way cooler like the Nepali coast the local waterfalls but ya just thought I should share this
Colby Clemons honestly I’ve done both and the Nepali coast tour was better especially in the winter because of the waves😂 there was such a big wave that it crashed over the catamaran and knock a woman over😂😂
I went there last week I stayed at princville the tubing was boring as heck but we had a fun tour guide shamone without her it woulve been boring, but I do recomend going to Duke's afterwords they have a killer salad bar
I did the tubing in February, it was pretty cool. I think it was $110 per person. The crew was very cool and told interesting stories but honestly I wish I would’ve went on a boat tour instead
More Kauai adventures please. ATVing, zip-lining, sky-diving, camping, horseback riding, snorkelling, hiking, kayaking, helicopter rides, surfing, there is a world of adventure to be had on Kauai.

The random singing tourists are such a mood
Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuauuuuuuuuuuuuuu
0:44 "Right at the heart of Lahui's historic sugarcane plantation."
*Proceeds to show a bamboo grove*
The sugar canes are gone. The market died. Very few sugar canes to be found on Kauai today.
😂😂
As a man who lives in Kauai it’s Lihue not lahui
@@andrewsclafani4202 Thank you for the correction. Did he pronounce it wrongly, or did I mishear him?
@@MalaysianTropikfusion You can kinda knock his pronunciation; it's close though, for a visitor.
I mean.... It beats people calling Kapa'a _Kappa._
Those singing tourists gave me chiiiiills!
4:29 Sounds like a whole entire choir is there
fr what type of cult 😭

What a great video concept, make more of these! And I couldn't decide if that was too touristy, but now I think we'll do it. Thanks.
There was so much safety gear, wow! I’ve been tubing heaps in the past with friends and family and tbh we didn’t even wear life jackets - let alone helmets! XD
They give you helmets because of the tunnels.

I really hope that they do more of these videos bc I’m loving them!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗 Anyone else agree??!!!
Best tour ever!!!
I just went yesterday!
$ well spend.
OK you may never see this but how much was it and how long was the ride
@@kacmac4057 It was $126( or somewhere around that) and it took about 3 hours.
@@EricZhan1214 3 hours on the raft? how long is the longest cave would you say...I got a little claustrophobic watching video lol. is it that bad?
We have a river a few minutes away from my house that we go tubing in all the time in Summer! We’re normally tubing for four hours each time, but I totally recommend it!
That's so cool, I was just in Kauai at that exact place backcountry tubing or whatever i had a blast cool that you guys made this video!!!
Was there last month...Mountain tubing was the highlight of my vacation until my dinner cruise of the Napali Coast
Nice! You made me want to try this. Thanks!
My nana live on Kauii and I am here now. I come here every year and didn't see this until about a year ago. I am going on a helicopter tour this year (today actually) but next year I will make shure I try this out.
Is this not basically a lazy river?
Not exactly, from experience. It is fast in a few sections.
Lazy river on crack
Not at all, my partner works here and the tour takes you through historic Sugar Cane canals. You go through land that is not accessible outside of the tour and you learn a lot.
Yeah I just went two weeks ago. It was very fun but pretty chilly
I must say.. I did this.. and it was pretty fun and the tour guides were super cool. I totally reccomend it!

They give him everything but a life jacket
I did the tubing in Kauai in January. The waters about 2.5 feet deep. If you topple over anywhere you can just stand up.
We did this in October 2019 and it was really a blast! I'd highly recommend it!
I'd lie and say I'm okay with small spaces then be the only one screaming in fear and holding a random person 😂😂😂
This Poppy if you hold other people it’s a good way to get stuck along with everyone else behind you so, they may be shouting at you
I have done this before and it’s seriously super fun. I definitely recommend!
Those green and brown poles are not Sugar Canes, those are BAMBOO. Beautiful video!
I did this when I was in Hawaii! It was sooo fun!
Marvellous Hawaii River Tubing by Kauai backcountry
That's one Fantastic video! Going over there in May, and this made me totally want to do it! Great job buddy! Totally subscribing!!
You should try out the zip and dip on the princevil ranch on Kauii it is amazing.
I did it. Would recommend. The scenery is great. The tubing is fun but not an adrenaline experienced.
That is so much fun, holy shit. I love lazy rivers already and this would blow my mind.
Your series is great. Please consider going to the Philippines particularly Coron or El Nido palawan. Their island hopping activity with breath taking view are to die for. Promise!!
I get claustraphobic but had no issues whatsoever with this excursion. I thought it was fun.

How deep is the river? What if you fall off the tube and the tube floats away? What if you don't know swimming?

I’m going in 2021 and staying quite nearby this ride… Question for you how much was it and how long was the ride duration?
Did u guys get to get the tallest mountain in hawaii
