A really good video. Been there last Month, and explored the whole island of Kauai as much as we could from Princeville to Waimea Canyon. Tried different food trucks, it was really good. Lydgate beach is our favorite place as it is near our hotel where we stayed. But don't miss the Puka dog located across Po'ipu beach, yumyum. The highlight of our trip was the door-off private helicopter tour which is breathtaking and amazing. Kauai is so beautiful, I think it's our favorite island and we are planning to go back there again this year.

Thanks so much for the tips on restaurants, we will have to go back again so we can try out your suggestion. Thanks again for watching. It takes a lot of work to put these videos together and to incorporate our unique perspectives along the way. I would like to think our videos are hardly generic in any way. Hope you enjoyed it.
I thought the same too in the first 2 minutes because the narrators voice sounds like that of the same voice that narrates a lot of videos of my youth but I soon realized he says "we" and you can hear the narrator's voice interacting with the woman in the videos
your video has decent content, but what stood out to me, is why certain names were mispronounced repeatedly. different languages have different accents/sounds that most non-native speakers will probably never pronounce correctly..... i totally get this. this is not the case here however. for some reason, you guys pronounce WAIMEA as why-ME-uh. literally every other video on kauai, pronounces it correctly as why-MAY-uh. the MAY is the exact same pronounciation as the month of MAY. another one is where you pronounce hanalei as hannah-lay, when any other video/guide/person you speak with, will pronounce it correctly as honna-lay, the same sound you would make when you say the word "haunted". how much stock would you put in a travel video for scottsdale, AZ if the narrator kept pronouncing it as scottsDEAL and arizonaY. just my feedback.
Wow!!!!! You have nothing good to say about the video? There is so much good content here, perfect for people like me planning a vacation to Kauai. I’m not so worried about pronunciation, this is a travel guide not a pronunciation video. I’ve been following this couple for years they have great content. Sad that you feel like you need to bash them like that 😮

@@roscoebuddy1055 nothing good to say? did you even read the first 5 words of what i posted? it's something worth noting, especially for folks from Hawaii like myself. do folks go around pronouncing it arizoNAY? if someone made a travel video and pronounced it arizoNAY it feels a bit off, especially since there is no effort to pronounce this correctly, like ME vs MAY.
@@arizonatennis7370 Wow!!!!! You must be bored, maybe you should make your own travel guide comment rules. How's the state of tennis in arizoNAY? see how off that sounds? but like i said, it's decent content. just off putting to hear something so simple pronounce the wrong way, like arizoNAY.

Please do not travel to our island
I totally get that, locals don't want tourism to take over the island. But without tourism what would happen to the economy of Kauai? Thanks for watching our video, we do appreciate it. Its really a beautiful Island, one of our favorites - so much so we were married there.
All the islands need tourism. There is also an island no one is allowed to visit and they have native Hawaiians who still speak their language…
Great video! Thank you.
You are welcome! Thanks for watching
